Sidney Powell Tag

Late last night, after I had gone to sleep, two things happened to ensure that I would not be able to take this morning off. First, Sidney Powell released her "Kraken" (more on that later), and second, the United States Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision handed down a huge religious liberty win against Andrew "Killer" Cuomo's lockdown restrictions on religious groups.

On June 24, 2020, a panel of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ordered Judge Emmet Sullivan to grant the government's motion to dismiss the criminal case against Michael Flynn. That Order would have become effective, requiring Sullivan's compliance, 21 days after that date (July 15). In an attempt to forestall compliance, on July 9, Sullivan filed a Petition for Rehearing En Banc, seeking a ruling by all 11 active judges on the appeals court.

General Michael Flynn is now accusing federal prosecutors of acting in “bad faith” during the Russia probe and is moving to withdraw his guilty plea. This is unfolding as he faces a term of six months in prison.

It has been relatively quiet lately on the Russian-collusion Democrat-Media leak and rumor mill. "Relatively" is the key word. What once was a sustained campaign of leaks timed to hit every 2-3 days to create a permanent Russia-collusion news cycle, now barely makes a sound. Of course, some Russian collusion is more newsworthy to the media than others, with the Uranium One scandal receiving a tiny fraction of the coverage as completely speculative Trump campaign rumors did.
