It's amazing how much mainstream media political coverage of the Wuhan caronavirus pandemic resembles Russia-collusion reporting. With Russia-collusion reporting, there were serial media bombshells of collusion based on anonymous sources how were "familiar" with a document or heard something from someone.

The Pentagon announced the U.S. launched missiles at an Iranian-backed militia in Iraq officials believe attacked and killed American troops just north of Baghdad. Other reports speculate the attack killed Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) top commander General Siamand Mashhadani.

Secretary of Defense Mark Esper fired Navy Secretary Richard Spencer due to the latter's attempts to strike a deal with the White House over Navy SEAL Edward Gallagher, the man who posed next to a dead body of an ISIS terrorist. Esper discovered Spencer's actions after the fact, which made him lose faith and confidence in Spencer.

House Defense Budget Proposal Sets Up Possible Stalemate With Senate, Trump

The House Committee on Armed Services revealed an outline of its defense budget proposal on Monday. The contents of the plan set up a possible stalemate with the Senate and President Donald Trump. The proposal trims $17 billion from the $750 billion Trump requested for defense. The Senate defense bill sits right at $750 billion. I have a feeling the portion that does not allow any Pentagon funding towards a border wall will cause the most problems with Trump.
