Veteran Smeared by Graham Platner Slams Senators Warren and Sanders for Supporting Him

“It’s just sad that somebody like this is being considered for a position in leadership in the United States Senate.”

In one of the latest scandals to hit Maine Democratic Socialist Senate candidate Graham Platner, it was discovered that he smeared a fellow military veteran by saying he didn’t ‘deserve to live’ following a skirmish with the Taliban.

FOX News reported:

A Purple Heart veteran who was mocked online by Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner issued a blistering response to a video of Platner declining to apologize or acknowledge regret over the comment.

“I saw the video, and, honestly, I don’t want an apology. I don’t need an apology. I consider the source of where the comment came from, and I’m the type of person that — in order for me to worry about what you say — first I have to respect you,” U.S. Army veteran Teddy Daniels said in response to a video taken by Fox News Digital over the weekend in which Platner declined to apologize.

“There’s zero to no respect for a self-proclaimed communist,” Daniels said. “You know, the ironic thing is, some guys run towards gunfire, and other guys run toward keyboards, and I think that’s a big difference.”

In a now-deleted Reddit post from June 2019 made under the username “P-Hustle” — an account that Platner has acknowledged owning — he reacted to a viral helmet cam video showing Daniels being shot four times during a 2012 clash with Taliban fighters, saying that Daniels “didn’t deserve to live.”

Teddy Daniels responded by writing an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal.

This weekend, Daniels also appeared on CNN and slammed Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Bernie Sanders for backing Platner.

Transcript via Mediaite:

I kind of consider the source on that, first and foremost, and I’ll be honest with you, what really upset me about the comments is — you know, I can’t even say that I was upset. I’m upset about the comment that he made about Chris Kyle. You know Chris Kyle has kids. He’s not here to defend himself.

I have kids and you know with people like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders backing this man, I want them, I want Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders to — my youngest is 8, he turns 9 in a couple days — to tell my kids that they’re supporting a man who said their father didn’t deserve to live. I mean, think about that. You know, that’s the issue there. It’s just sad that somebody like this is being considered for a position in leadership in the United States Senate.

Watch the clip:

He went on to slam Democrats generally for their treatment of veterans.

So you ARE aware where Liz and Bernie work, right?
It’s all water under the horse by now.

I’m looking forward to pissing on Sanders and Warren’s graves. They need to hurry up and croak while I am still sufficiently ambulatory to make it there, Despicable awful people. Especially Sanders. Poster children along with Biden for what is wrong with this country and its democratic voters.

Their demises can’t happen soon enough.

Two of the most manifestly wicked, lazy, hypocritical, self-enriching, entitled, private sector-avoiding, career opportunists, demagogues and apparatchiks, of all time.

Two perfect personifications of the contemporary communist/Islamofascist/Muslim supremacist Dhimmi-crat criminal organizations’ intrinsic evil and malignant stupidity.

Plenty people you don’t have to wait for, like Ted Kennedy… or Dianne Feinstein, if you prefer nicer weather.

Did you know that Senator Cadillac is buried in Arlington, This is because after being temporarily kicked out of Harvard he spent 2 years in the military where he served in Europe and left service as a private, Weekends in Parie don’t you know it. Those 2 years qualified him to be buried in Arlington.

I think they should dig him up and dump his pickled corpse into Poucha Pond. It would be fitting.

Graham Platner is the worst example of a veteran I have ever seen. We have all served with this type of person (Section 8) during our tour of duty. Some people should have never been allowed to serve because they are not and never will be team players. It doesn’t say much for Maine or the party of mental illness to support this type of pervert for office. God save and bless America.

    Which makes me wonder:

Why haven’t his fellow infantrymen spoken up?

If this a-hole, showing us his true face, has no morality or decency so as to wish death upon a fellow American soldier and smear Kyle, what would stop others who served with him from calling him out?

As you explain, they’ve known his true face much longer than us.

I’ve said before, if this mountain of dirt is coming out now, whatever the Republicans are saving for October has to be epic. Maybe they already have it.

My question has nothing to do what Repub Ops is doing.

This has to do with the guys who stomped the hills and desert sands with Platner in their midst.

No doubt some would follow his boots. But there has to be many who recognized long ago what a c-sucker this guy is and they are free to speak out now.

I wonder how much $ is flowing into Maine from around the Nation to this primary race to oppose Planter? If only there were big donors and a powerfully effective lobby/PAC capable of writing big checks to block a candidate for Senate with a Nazi SS totenkopf tattoo over his heart. I seem to recall a recent primary in another State where tens of $ millions flowed in for a HoR primary contest to claim a scalp…. perhaps the guy with a totenkopf should have been at least an equal priority to defeat in his primary? I get that this nutcase nazi Platner is perceived as easier to beat in a general election v Collins but …gamesmanship seems risky and if this guy (who leads the d/prog polls FWIW) defeats Collins and becomes a US Senator as a result of funding choices… the perception of misplaced priorities may stick.

“…millions flowed in for a HoR primary contest …”

Home of Record? That makes no sense, but that is what HoR meant to the US Army. Nothing turns up with a Duck Duck search. Perhaps CommoChief (Navy Chief PO, Army Chief WO or a Section Chief?) could provide the definition?

So did you want Republican/Conservative groups to spend cash in a Democrat Primary to defeat Platner? It is inevitable that the funding would surface and might well put Platner in the Senate.

No problem, HoR = House of Representatives. I’ve used that abbreviation for years and you’re the first to become confused. Happy to clarify for you.

Yes I’d say any individual or entity claiming to be highly motivated about opposing antisemitism or anti Zionism and already writing large campaign checks should probably consider working to defeat the guy with the nazi SS totenkopf tattoo at every step of his campaign to keep this nutty nazi out.of the US Senate where, by virtue of Senate rules, he’d hold far more individual power/influence than a single member of the HoR. Campaign funds ain’t infinite and priorities matter. I’d submit that this guy is far more dangerous than any single member of the HoR. Same admonition holds for GoP party PACs. The GoP Senate establishment spent $millions defending Cornyn in TX to protect their establishment buddy. If the nutty nazi wins there’s folks who had the opportunity and motive to do more to defeat him …but chose other priorities instead of meeting the, IMO, more important/dangerous moment/challenge.

If CNN is having Daniels on, then the Democrats have realized their mistake and will be jettisoning Platner.

The more that comes out about this Plantner guy, the more of a road crash he and his personal life becomes apparent.

Perfect Democrat in other words.

Long story short, dems will vote for any candidate who is anti-trump, no matter how flawed.
