With news that blogger Nate Silver has been hired by The NY Times, and with the dream of an independent progressive blogosphere fading as fast as Obama's approval ratings, I wondered whether The NY Times would hire me to blog for it. Unlikely. My first post...

Many bloggers and news outlets are using a graphic printed in The Economist to show that Israel prevents basic foodstuffs from entering Gaza, including Coriander and Chocolate.Since the chart is in The Economist, most people accept it at face value, and mock any suggestion that...

The MV Rachel Corrie is a cargo ship named after an American anti-Israeli activist (photo right burning a mock U.S. flag) killed while trying to prevent Israeli bulldozers from operating in Gaza in 2003.The Free Gaza movement operating the ship has announced that it will...

According to the most recent Gallup poll, support among Americans for Israel over the Palestinians is at a near all time high. 63% of Americans (more than voted for Barack Obama) support Israel, while only 15% support the Palestinians, with 23% choosing "both/neither/no opinion."Despite this...

An Iranian port in Gaza is the goal of those who want uninspected sea shipping to Gaza. The "Freedom Flotilla" is a lie and a fraud. The Islamist government of Turkey, which has an ongoing rapprochement in progress with Iran, instigated the crisis, and a Turkish...

Glenn Greenwald is venomous in his attacks on Israel. Greenwald calls supporters of Israel, including Rep.
