An old girlfriend’s brother was attending Yale years ago. One afternoon about a dozen black guys were walking behind him, bellowing out taunts on his way back to campus. Our freshman Yalie turned around and challenged any one among them to a fistfight, on the spot, to settle the matter. They conferred among themselves and then all covered on him kicking and punching. He left the hospital 2 weeks later, and his new nose was actually an improvement.
