I had Communist teachers 50 years ago, when I was in grade school. They are just more blatant about it today.
With rare exception I had them 60+ years ago. And, the actual instruction was pretty bad as well.
I have a family member who is a communist. loud and obnoxious. No too smart. Nobody likes this person much. Unwilling to have a real discussion about anything. True pompous “know it all”. Worships Bernie.
OK. What they used to call an “Uncle Moe”. Full of “Science sez” (hush, hush, genuflect), nd all antsy when you note that Michael Polanyi famously observed that all science is tentative.
Michael Polanyi research was actually in relation to tacit knowledge and is with reference to am area of philosophical enquiry. That said the point your making is correct up to a point. However you misinterprete what that practically means. It means that science is self critical and will self correct where better data/methodologies/experiments/theories show it to be necessary. That doesn’t mean that something else is better than science from an epistemology point of view.
