ABC Insider Who Released Hot Mic Footage of Jeffrey Epstein Story Shutdown Releases Written Statement
CBS News fired the former ABC News employee who had access to the tape, with no evidence she was responsible for leaking the hot mic footage
Tuesday, Project Veritas released a video showing what appears to be ABC News reporter Amy Robach, ‘Good Morning America’ Co-Host and Breaking News Anchor at ABC, discussing how the network had the Jeffrey Epstein story with extensive detail from one of his alleged victims, corroborated by other women, three years ago, but that the network ultimately killed the story.
Ashley Bianco, a former ABC employee who had access to the footage while working for ABC, left the company and had been working for CBS for 4 days when she was fired in connection to the leaked footage. And now CBS is part of the story.
Bianco sat down with Megyn Kelly to tell her side of the story. She insists she is not the leaker and never did anything with the footage, that everyone in the office was aware of the hot mic footage and some took videos of it.
James O’Keefe, President and Founder of Project Veritas, says the ABC insider is still employed by ABC and published a statement written by the insider:
Editors Note: Project Veritas is publishing the writing below at the request of the ABC news insider who gave us the Amy Robach tape.
This was submitted to us in light of the actions taken by CBS News to fire the female staffer who had access to the tape, and to the reactions of ABC news to revelations by Amy Robach spiking of the story on Jeffrey Epstein.
By Ignotus,
To my fellow man:
I came forward with this information bearing no motives other than to have this information public. I did not and do not seek any personal gain from this information whether it be financial or otherwise and will always decline. When I became aware of this moment, I had the same reaction as many of you did. Anger, confusion and sadness. I care not about petty political quarrels and only hope for the best in all of us.
To my fellow ABC News employees:
I’ve walked the halls experiencing similar feelings we are all having right now. All of you regardless of your own personal differences in one form or another do an outstanding job. I sincerely enjoy working with each and every one of you and will continue to do so throughout our careers.
To those wrongfully accused:
It is terrible that you have been lashed out at by the company. I know some may put the burden of guilt on me, but my conscience is clear. The actions of the company towards you are the result of their own and not anyone else. The public outcry, from coast to coast, of all people, creeds, and political affiliations, is clear. I have not one doubt that there will always be support for you, and you will have prosperous careers. For neither you, nor I, have done anything wrong.
To Amy Robach:
You are the only person deserving of an apology. I am most certainly sorry. Not for my actions or for this to center around you, but for what is clear to have happened. When I first stumbled across this, my initial reaction was outrage. But this soon turned towards empathy. I can not imagine doing all the hard work to only have it shelved. If the past few years have taught us anything, it is the truth that some of us have endured many hardships in this industry. From the spiking of stories regarding prominent and powerful people in this world, and to yours. I believe you are an outstanding reporter and have done such tremendous work in the community as well.
To ABC News:
I sit right here with you all in complete shock. I, like many, are at a loss for words on how this has been handled. Instead of addressing this head-on like the company has in the past, it has spun into a mission of seek-and-destroy. Innocent people that have absolutely nothing to do with this are being hunted down as if we are all a sport. I challenge all of you to actually look inwards and remember why this company engages in journalism. We all hold the First Amendment at the foundation of this company, yet forget its history, its purpose, and its reasoning for even coming into existence to begin with. How lost we are… yearning to be found. I went to Project Veritas for the sole reason that any other media outlet else would have probably shelved this as well. I thank all of them, and James, for seeking truth.
We are all human and mortal, creatures of mistakes and redemption.
The road to redemption favors no soul.
Sincerely,
Ignotus

I watched the Megyn Kelly interview with this young woman and it is compellingly in her favor. She had just joined NBC and had been there 4 days when they fired her. She claims that she didn’t leak it but her TV future is in doubt. I do not know the law but I think an employer can fire anyone for any/no reason without any repercussions.
If she is under contract maybe not. And if it is under a false premise without adequate investigation, there is potential liability for that.
It was CBS that fired her.
ABC and CBS helped with this also??????

I hope Ms. Bianco gets a really good attorney and sues the ? out of ABC News and CBS News.
I hope the real leaker discloses stuff about Little George Stephanopoulos so bad it makes him cry. ?
What’s that Truth to Power phrase the lefties are always prattering on about?
MEthinks they mean “Deep Six the Truth” and “Grab all the Power like a Communist Dictator!”
More vile Democrat Party doings today. (Also see the pic of the illegal Obama Sucka/Whistler in this article below.)
Facebook announced on Friday that it would be removing an posts which name alleged Trump-Ukraine whistleblower Eric Ciaramella.

Weaselzippers puts it much more plainly.

It’s not Truth to Power. It is lies about Republicans. Look how quickly those jelly spined weasels at the NBA folded. The phrase Truth to power is the prosaic dribble of the left.
Funny how we can’t say
ERIC CIARAMELLA
because a “whistleblower” must be protected at all costs.
Yet, this woman, who has been declared not a leaker/whistleblower, has her name plastered everywhere the past few days.
Protect the one taking down a duly elected president,
Decry the one trying to take down known pedophiles.
Gee, all that hard work. I wonder if the Epstein victims between, say, 2016-2018 appreciated all that hard work? Amy Robach got to cover a lot of fascinating stories in the past few years, including a Royal birth, Hillary Clinton, etc. – you know, all those people she was really pissed off about? And by “pissed off about” I mean “she was pissed off her career didn’t fly into the stratosphere because the Epstein story was shot down.” Oh wait -maybe it did.
I used to be a journalist. You know what I did when I couldn’t stand the leftist crap any more? I jumped out of that clown car.
Sorry, Amy Robach can go to hell.
Right on Colonel. Her regard for her own career is eclipsed only by her disregard for Epstein’s victims. Robach is a villain, not a hero
They are all villains: dishonest, corrupt, greedy for power and absolutely intolerant of even the slightest disagreement. Imagine Joseph Goebbels with the power and reach of modern communications. That is the MSM/DNC axis.
That said – I hope Bianco finds a way to take ABC and CBS to the cleaners. Watching commies frag each other is a kind of poetic justice.
She could start that by revealing all the ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, et.al media executives that used Epstein’s services and/or went to his Epstein Island.
Absolutely.
Robach could have exposed this all by herself but chose to play prog ball.
There is a cause of action in civil cases entitle “Intentional Interference with Prospective Economic Advantage”. There is also a cause of action for “interference with contractual relations”. These involve a tortious effort to interrupt someone’s contractual relationship with a third party. It describes ABC’s successful efforts to destroy the “whistleblower’s” contractual relationships with CBS arising from their employment of her.
This opens up ABC to a potentially large lawsuit.
It’s hard to believe they did this without considering all the embarrassing discovery that will occur during the lawsuit, about Epstein, and the covered up story, and their own role in covering it up.
Huh?
That Ignotus letter reads like something from a software text generator.
Perhaps it was written that way to protect Ignotus from being given away by writing style when the ABC inquisitors get to work.
totally thought about the writing style angle to track the whistleblower down. I hope PV thought of that as well and took the steps to protect him/her
The lack of good grammar and punctuation is appalling, especially for a journalist.
HiGeorgeCrosley. Technically yes, CBS did the firing. But is there any real difference between any of them ? Journalists they are not. They’re the same as the activists in “academia” that call themselves scholars.
The left-media deftly turned the story into a question of loyalty. Something like that.
The sheer power wielded by the Clinton machine is astounding. They’ve got their beak dipped in everything.
Screw with them and you’ll end up with a bullet through the back of the head, rolled up in a carpet and dumped in a copse of trees – or in a plane crash outside Dubrovnik.
And the British royals? As if they’ve not 1500 year history of whacking friends, family and any other creature that strays into their gravity field. ;;;cough Diana cough;;;
totally agree with the sentiment, but the current BRF is not quit 1000 years old (I have been wondering if I will be healthy enough in 2066 at age 91 to visit Hasting for THE RE-ENACTMENT of the millennium)
and yeah, Diana was totally a hit job. No wonder Harry is so messed up.
If CBS fired her and she is not the leaker, doesn’t she have a major case for a lawsuit?
Yes, but probably not CBS. She does have a good case against ABC.
Another day in the MSM/DNC Follies….
Yesterday: Whistleblowers are a sacred national treasure with Absolute Moral Authority (TM).
Today: F$*K WHISTLEBLOWERS!!! KILL!!! KILL!!!! KILL!!! KILLKILLKILLKILLKILLKILL!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow: …?
The corruption in the American media is TOTAL. Apparently, it has been this way for many years, and we’re just discovering the depth of the connection between the ‘news,’ hollywood, the democrat party.
THANK GOD FOR DONALD TRUMP.
I think something is kind of been missed here. Kelly is now reduced to becoming a youtuber. ( Apparently the first video of her youtube channel ).
I’m sure Ms. Bianco has great comfort when Kelly tests her not to worry she’ll find another job.
That should be tells her not tests her.
The new war on women, obey your male overlords or suffer unemployment and humiliation.
And yet I’d bet these same women will continue to vote for the democrat who abuses them.
I think Robach forced that conversation over hot mic and hoped someone would leak it perhaps even coordinated it. In so doing, she was able to claim some credit for the story, which with Epstein’s death, the FBI raid and investigation by the FBI and DOG, is sure to come out. The timing of her ‘hot mic’ moment is suspicious – she’s had 3 years to stew over it – why make those comments the same month of the FBI raid and DOJ announcement?
She is lucky she did not get the Seth Rich treatment.
“Intentional Interference with Prospective Economic Advantage”
I’ve been wondering about this. ABC went after an ex-employee, besmirched their reputation and had them fired.
I was laid off from a job. While interviewing with a perspective new employer I gave them permission to contact my former employer to ask about me. I was told that they were willing to verify my prior employment but got really nasty when asked for any other information. They were trying to find out if in their opinion I was reliable etc… They stone walled every question. Was this for fear of reprisal?
