Pro-Police Crowd Boos Mamdani Off Stage: ‘Get Out of Here’

Pro-Police Crowd Boos Mamdani Off Stage: ‘Get Out of Here’

“After the boos continued, Mamdani thanked the crowd with his signature hand-over-his-heart gesture, waved and walked offstage smiling.”

To say the least, New York City Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani received a hostile reception Tuesday at the NYPD’s 43rd Patrol Borough National Night Out Against Crime celebration in Staten Island. The roughly 3,500 pro-police residents in attendance greeted Mamdani with a chorus of boos that quite literally drove him from the stage — in under a New York minute.

Fox News reported:

His remarks, however, lasted less than a minute as loud boos, jeers and chants of “get out of here” and “nobody wants you” drowned out his voice.

The mayor attempted to continue speaking for a short time, but the jeers drowned him out. After the boos continued, Mamdani thanked the crowd with his signature hand-over-his-heart gesture, waved and walked offstage smiling. As he exited, the crowd continued to berate him, with some yelling expletives. An organizer attempted to regain control of the event, but the crowd persisted, booing and shaking their fists at Mamdani.

According to The New York Post, he was met with a “tirade of profanities” from the crowd as he “made his way up to the podium.”

Conservative political strategist Joey Mannarino wrote on X, “New York’s communist mayor Zohran Mamdani just got the reception he actually deserves.”

He continued:

The same cops and working class New Yorkers this DSA radical and his soft on crime buddies spent years attacking, vilifying, and trying to defund just told him to get the f*** out.

He stood there smiling like an idiot while the crowd chanted for him to leave.

Staten Island sees right through him.

While Mamdani has not defunded the NYPD as many had feared, he scrapped former Mayor Eric Adams’s plan to add 5,000 officers to the force shortly after taking office and later canceled an incoming Police Academy class.

Staten Island is the most conservative and reliably Republican borough in New York City and the only borough he lost during his 2025 race.

CBS News reported last week that families who lost loved ones in the 9/11 attacks have made it clear they want him to stay away from remembrance ceremonies marking the 25th anniversary of the tragedy.

Giovanni Galante, a 9/11 widower, started the petition with a woman who lost her husband on 9/11. Galante’s 29-year-old wife, Grace Catherine Galante, worked on the 105th floor of the north tower.

“We felt that having Mamdani there would show a disrespect to our family members because of the people he supports,” Galante said.

Perhaps Mamdani should spend the day riding his bike around the city, as he did in May when he skipped the annual Israel Day Parade, citing his opposition to the Israeli government.

Additionally, Mamdani was snubbed by the family of Army Sergeant Angel Sarah Rampersad’s at her funeral in Queens, New York, last week. Rampersad, 28, was one of three U.S. soldiers killed “July 17 during an Iranian missile attack” on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.

According to The New York Post:

They gave him the Zo-ld shoulder.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani was snubbed from eulogizing Army Sgt. Angel Sarah Rampersad at the fallen soldier’s Queens funeral Friday — and the embarrassing scene unfolded in real time as he fumed while waiting in vain to give his speech, sources revealed.

Mamdani, who was relegated to the fourth row in the Ozone Park church, appeared to be reviewing his planned remarks on an iPad while Gov. Kathy Hochul and other dignitaries, including Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, were called to speak, a source in attendance said.

“They kept calling names and then he was never called,” the source said.

Taken together, these episodes suggest Mamdani’s brutal reception on Staten Island was more than an uncomfortable encounter with a hostile crowd in the city’s most conservative borough. Barely seven months into his mayoralty, he is already finding himself unwelcome at events meant to honor the police, fallen service members, and the victims of 9/11. For a mayor who entered office promising to unite New Yorkers, that is a remarkable amount of alienation in a remarkably short period of time.

Good to see some New Yorkers aren’t cowed into submission of having to accept this fool and his moronic “policies” for fear of being called Islamophobic. I’m sure Mamdopey will be working over time to brand them all as racists. After all it couldn’t possibly be his fault !

Staten Island should be independent of NYC

Charles Whitman, please pick up on the red courtesy phone.

Threats work both way, and his election smells as fishy as pluff mud.

A tomato or three, ripe or rotten, would have been fun. Having them chucked by a survivor of one who was killed on 9/11 or murdered by a criminal who should have been in jail would have been sweet.

“He stood there smiling like an idiot while the crowd chanted for him to leave.”

Population of NYC is 8+ million and this piece of 💩 is the mayor?

I’m pretty sure that Mamdani is not the idiot in this equation.

Sorry, New Yorkers. This one’s on you and DO NOT come asking federal government for a bailout when the inevitable happens.
