ICE Arrests 1,328 Illegal Aliens in DC, Virginia, Maryland in 14 Days
“Of those arrested, almost 400 illegal immigrants had criminal convictions or pending criminal charges, including a Salvadoran national wanted in Richmond, Virginia, on a murder warrant.”
DHS told Fox News that ICE pulled off a massive operation in 14 days in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland.
“Illegal aliens in Virginia and Maryland have no sanctuary,” DHS wrote on X.
I’m told many of the illegal aliens tried to flee from ICE or resisted arrest. Some videos of these arrests are below, courtesy of an ICE source who took part in this massive operation in VA & MD. pic.twitter.com/kYALncQxeS

ICE agents arrested 1,328 illegal aliens, including 400 criminals:
Of those arrested, almost 400 illegal immigrants had criminal convictions or pending criminal charges, including a Salvadoran national wanted in Richmond, Virginia, on a murder warrant. Other crimes included rape, sexual assault, kidnapping, DUI, robbery and attempted murder.
The operation comes as Maryland and Virginia, particularly Fairfax County, Virginia, have seen significant crime involving illegal immigrants, including violent and sexual offenses.
The operation, titled “Operation Safe Community — Washington, D.C.,” took place from Aug. 1-14.
They also arrested members of MS-13, 18th Street Gang, and Tren de Aragua gangs.
“While sanctuary politicians put illegal aliens above the American people, the Trump Administration will ALWAYS put American citizens first,” added the agency.
We’ve seen so many criminal illegal aliens in Virginia, especially Fairfax County:

- ICE Lodges Detainer for Illegal Alien Accused of Kidnapping, Raping Woman in Virginia
- DOJ Investigating Fairfax County DA Over Deals With Illegal Aliens

“Once again, our officers are out in the streets arresting and removing criminal alien offenders from American communities – this time in the Washington, D.C. area,” said ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Acting Assistant Director Patricia Hyde. “Our officers are the best in the world at finding people who do not want to be located. That’s exactly what we did throughout the course of this operation. Removing these criminal alien offenders from Virginia and Maryland neighborhoods makes for much safer communities, and that is exactly what the men and women of ICE work to accomplish every day across our great nation.”

Operation Safe Community – Somebody put some thought into that. Forcing Democrats to demonstrate against Safe Community.
Speaking of Maryland, I hope Maryland Man (Kilmar Abrego Garcia) will eventually be deported from this country.
Interesting. Just today, I was wondering the same thing. I had to look up his deportation status.
As of August 2026, Kilmar Abrego Garcia remains in Maryland under ICE supervision, fighting a new attempt by the Justice Department to deport him to Liberia while simultaneously appealing the dismissal of criminal charges against him.
The Justice Department has formally moved to reinstate criminal charges against Abrego Garcia, appealing a May 2026 ruling that dismissed the case as “vindictive prosecution.” Simultaneously, the administration has shifted its deportation target from Uganda and Ghana to Liberia, despite Abrego Garcia’s expressed willingness to accept refugee status in Costa Rica, a nation that has agreed to receive him. The government has thus far refused the Costa Rica option.
This triggers my OCD that it wasn’t an even 1,400 in 14 days.
You need to break down the 14-day arrest figure into halves in order to eliminate random odd numbers:
Week 1: Exactly 664 arrests.
Week 2: Exactly 664 arrests.
It’s more satisfying when you break it down that way. The number 664 contains double sixes balanced by a final even digit. Doesn’t that make you feel good?
Thank God for people like you two who can impose order on a seemingly chaotic world. I can’t even force my socks into an equal number of pairs.
If this was a mere law enforcement matter, it would get a grade A+. But, since it is meant to deal with an invasion of millions upon tens of millions, it gets an F-.
Just a few things to consider.
1) Though the surge of illegal aliens under Biden was horrific a lot of the illegal alien population took years to build up and will unfortunately take years to undo. It will be very important to follow the Trump Administration with another administration that will continue Trump Administration deportation policies.
2) It will also be important to encourage illegal aliens to self deport by making it more difficult for them to stay in the USA. E-verify would be a small first step and I would include such policies as blocking them from any government benefits I could, increasing the financial penalties for employers who hire illegals, blocking illegals from having access to any bank that is protected by the FDIC, making being present in the USA illegally an aggravating factor for any crime convicted of by the illegal ( an extra five years should do the job) and no state tuition for illegal aliens.
3) Every illegal deported from a blue state ( where most are located) before 2030 will help cost those blue states House seats and electoral votes and the long term effects will help continue the policies of immigration enforcement among other things.
4) One of the best things that the Trump Administration has done is seal the border. It would not do any good to deport two million illegal aliens if another two million plus were being let in.
Isn’t it funny how many of those illegals seem to have on the OSHA required safety yellow work shirts? Wonder what construction companies employed them and if these companies knew they were illegally in the country and just looked the other way on it or if they didn’t even check if they had authorization to work in the United States. Either way the companies that hire illegals should be held responsible for hiring them.

Go to a Lowes or Home Depot at 7 in the morning. They will see what you are loading and they are now experts in doing your project for a low cash price.
I have seen some of the work done by the illegals that crowd around the Lowes and Home Depot parking lots and I wouldn’t let them within a mile of any building project of mine. They might do it for a “low cash price” but then you end up paying big bucks to the qualified builders/contractors to fix all the building violations that occur.

1,328 less Democrat/ Marxist voters
It’s a start
1328 fewer ( at least if their family joins them back in their home countries) to count in the census.
My comment on this story is the same as always: WHY SO FEW????
Definitely need more widespread operations but considering the alternative I’ll take it. Especially when that near 1400 rounded up means the rest of the illegal aliens in the area are now nervous about venturing outside. Next step needs to be rounding up the employers and checking their paperwork for compliance. If that employer didn’t make a clear good faith effort to follow their obligations then jam them up as well. Same for the financial institutions including check cashing places.
I drive past more illegal aliens than that on a daily basis on my way to work, just going by day laborer sites (they like 7/11’s and really, really like the Lowes and Home Depots).
We even have a taxpayer funded day laborer site run by the local sheriffs office. As if we were paying taxes to fund the sheriff and his deputies for the express purpose of enabling illegal immigration and illegal workers.
Correction, they are all criminals. It is a federal misdemeanor to enter the country without inspection.
