FBI Arrests SJSU Grad Student and ‘Social Justice Activist’ for Racist, Antisemitic Vandalism

The Department of Justice has announced the arrest of a graduate student at San Jose State University in connection with a string of racist and antisemitic acts of vandalism, stretching back months.

The suspect has been described as ‘woke’ and a ‘social justice’ activist, which should surprise no one. When there isn’t enough racism in real life, campus leftists sometimes just invent it.

The College Fix reports:

SJSU vandalism against Jews, Muslims committed by ‘100% woke … social justice activist’: FBIThe person allegedly responsible for a spate of antisemitic and Islamophobic graffiti and bomb threats at San Jose State University is a 30-year-old graduate student who describes himself on social media as “100% woke” and a “social justice activist,” according to law enforcement. The Justice Department announced Monday that suspect Ziheng “Tony” Fang was arrested on federal charges of false information and hoaxes, and that he made his initial court appearance July 10.Fang allegedly appeared to make the graffiti seem like it was written by a white President Trump supporter, according to the vandalism’s wording. However, Fang’s personal profile on TikTok includes the label “100% woke” and his Snapchat and Facebook profiles have the label “activist” and “social justice activist” in his bio, according to the FBI’s criminal complaint. The suspect “also includes a rainbow flag in his profile on Threads which … typically conveys membership or allyship with the LGBTQ+ community. Fang also has posted and/or shared content expressing anti-ICE, pro-immigration, anti-MAGA, and pro-Palestine views,” states the FBI’s complaint, published by CBS News.Police allege Fang is responsible for 20 instances of hateful and threatening messages written in men’s and gender-neutral restrooms at SJSU since at least 2024, with the most recent occurrence being May of this year.
