Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey Honors George Floyd on Memorial Day

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey Honors George Floyd on Memorial Day

I guess someone reminded Frey that today is Memorial Day because he posted about the holiday 90 minutes after his gush fest over Floyd.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey honored the fallen with a simple Memorial Day post on X. at 11:38 AM this morning.

Okay, cool.

But at 9:03 AM, 90 minutes before the proper Memorial Day post, Frey wrote a long thread honoring none other than…George Floyd.

Yup.

Oh, I wonder if he means the riots, property destruction, and vandalism.

Right?? Right????

Nope. Of course not.

What is wrong with Democrats?!

Earlier, I wrote about the party weaponizing fallen heroes to attack President Donald Trump.

Now this? These people have no shame.

Saint George of Floyd died of a drug overdose. A cursory perusal of the Hennepin County Coroner’s toxicology report makes that obvious.

But never let a good crisis go to waste.

Floyd wasn’t murdered. He was a worthless criminal that overdosed. Good riddance.

He had consumed his stash once before when the cops had to deal with him…. required four days in the hospital to detox. His clock ran out the second time. But the Dem narrative was waiting for another hero of “The Struggle”…. another thug for the Pantheon of Blackness.

The donkey party of mental illness is displaying it ass today. By honoring the drug dealer criminal George Floyd, on a day to celebrate our warriors, is a display of hypocrisy beyond belief. The demoncratic party is showing their true colors for sure. The future of the country is in dire straights if they have their communist way. They are truly digging the sludge from the bottom of a rotten barrel. God bless America and protect us from them.

Even if you believe that George Floyd was killed and that his death is all that these people crank it up to be….even if you believe that.

TODAY is not the day to push those beliefs on the citizens of Minneapolis who are using today to memorialize the family members who died defending this country. Today is a day to be humble, to be respectful, and to appeal to people ACROSS political divides.

But the Left can’t do that. They MUST divide. They must agitate and show the world that they will never cease being classless, un-American jerks. They will MAKE you submit to their calumny on this day and every other day of the year.

No. If you believe that whole narrative then today is the day to remember him, because it’s the anniversary. That’s when you remember someone who has died. When else? Are you supposed to ignore the anniversary just because a holiday happens to fall on the same day?!

Context matters. A lot of people more worthy of remembrance had this holiday made for them, not him.

I’m sure the new GF rebuild is all destined to become the next MLK Blvd.

Floyd was not murdered, and is not worthy of remembering, today or any other day. But if you accept the narrative that he was murdered by the police, and that he is worthy of remembrance, then today must be the day to remember him. When else would you suggest? What is the natural date on which we remember anyone who has died, if not on their anniversary? Is this not a universal thing?! What would you do if your parent passed away on May 25? Would you move the memorial to some other day, just because this year it happens to be a holiday?! Seriously?!

Yes. Even if you believe the obvious lies . . . and even if today is the “anniversary” of Floyd’s death . . . .because Memorial Day is a national holiday to honor those who died in service of the country….veterans and honoring them takes precedence over a civilian who died on the same day.

But the Left can’t have that. They can’t respect or honor values that unify our country.. They can’t tolerate decency and humility. They must agitate, irritate, provoke and force the rest of us to tolerate and supplicate to their perversion. Because they’re un-American jerkoffs. ALL OF THEM.

So you would ignore your parent’s anniversary just because it happened to fall this year on Memorial Day. Unbelievable. Unbelievable.

You’re remembering so many people on this day, do you really think remembering one more will detract from it?!

Also, I don’t know why you put scare quotes around “anniversary”. It’s a completely ordinary word, and May 25 is in fact Floyd’s. If he were worthy of remembering, which he isn’t, that would be the appropriate day of the year on which to do so.

What a dick

This guy wants to be AOC’s VP

What a BLESSED municipality! Maybe it’s the water? Early education? How can they be so devolved? This is not something new, it’s pathological, congenital, to see an entire culture as wickedly abhorrent as the perpetuation of islam. There, you have it! Of course islam if flourishing, thriving where there used to be Lutherans, Prairie Home Companions and a measure of humor. Instead, take a knee for the dead. Thank you Lord that I have never had be there. I wonder if Walz and Frey are having a circle event to give witness that all they have learned.

a small-time thug caught while trying to pass counterfeit currency, in possession of controlled substances at the time, overdoses himself in an attempt to hide the drugs from police

the only meager benefit to the whole ” saint george ” grift is that at least he will never hurt / harm anyone else

The problem is that he has provided sick people like Jacob Frey with a reason to virtue signal and gaslight.

They don’t care if what they preach is a lie and, in Frey’s case, they don’t care how cringeworthy they are.

I half expect he will ask the city fathers to propose naming a series of city streets after other famous African American martyrs. Rodney King, Michael Brown, George Floyd, and that lovable little scamp, Treyvon Martin.

This is what you get when AWFLs vote. Just like in NYC, AWFLs elected the same girly man who is clueless to manhood. They do not want a strong leader, they want compassion and love. Defund the police, abolish ICE, free drugs for addicts and As for all kids in school.

Never go full retard, Jacob.

Still in office 6 years after presiding over the debacle and aftermath? Can anything say it more what a sorry state Minneapolis is in. Competence in fraud, mismanagement and racial division.
