DOJ Launches 15-City Anti-Semitism Crackdown Tour

The Department of Justice (DOJ)’s Federal Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism is hitting the road. The DOJ announced earlier this week a 15-city “National Awareness & Action Tour” to confront antisemitic threats at the local level, coordinate with law enforcement, and build interfaith coalitions against anti-Jewish discrimination.

“President Trump has made clear that this Administration will not tolerate antisemitism, and the Department of Justice is committed to implementing that directive,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. “This national tour is an important step in ensuring communities across the country know the federal government stands ready to work with them to confront antisemitic threats, protect public safety, and uphold civil rights.”
The tour is the latest action under President Trump’s executive orders directing federal agencies to treat antisemitism as a civil rights enforcement priority, a posture that has sharpened considerably since the October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre and the campus unrest that followed.
Tour goals include increasing incident reporting, tightening coordination between local and federal agencies, and addressing antisemitism inside K-12 schools and teacher unions.
Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward didn’t mince words about how this administration sees its record compared to prior ones.
“Jewish Americans deserve to live, work, worship, and send their children to school without fear of harassment, intimidation, or violence,” Woodward said. “Under President Trump’s leadership, the Department of Justice is taking a far more serious and coordinated approach to combating antisemitism than Americans have seen in years.”
Leo Terrell, who chairs the task force, will lead the tour personally, meeting with communities affected by antisemitic incidents and working to develop what the DOJ called “practical solutions” at the local level.
The tour fits a broader pattern of enforcement. The Trump administration has revoked visas, launched Title VI investigations, and threatened to pull federal funding from universities accused of tolerating antisemitic conduct. The DOJ tour extends that pressure campaign beyond campuses and into local communities across the country.

It’s geat to see them taking even more actions; Trump has been an amazing defender of Jewish Americans. Under Biden all we got was empty platitudes and that’s all you see from most politicians the “hate doesn’t represent our values” or “:hate has no place in insert city here” crowd. Meaning hate very much has a place, you refuse to name the kind of hate and the reasons for it and will continue to encourage, allow it and even applaud it to some extent.
Hopefully this effort will pay dividends to crate a coalition of folks who opposed to discrimination/hate based on any/all with traditions. No one should be targeted b/c of their faith. What we’ve seen out of many corners, particularly academia and woke/leftists in not just appallingly violent rhetoric but actual violence including murders deployed v folks of Jewish faith clearly demonstrates the need to action. Not sure this is the cure but it probably won’t hurt, assuming we get buy in and not more defiant intransigence from the blue jurisdictions and leftist campuses where it seems most concentrated.
This is good, but democrats will still get 90% of the Jewish vote.
I think the figure is well below 90%. But whatever it is, it’s too high.
That said, Jews are a statistically and politically insignificant minority, in the U.S. The real problem is the Christian Dhimmi-crat vote, without which, no Dhimmi-crat apparatchik candidate or officeholder would ever win an election.
Thankfully it’s well below 90%, but it’s still far higher than it shoudl be, and the resurgence of antisemitism on the right is not helping.
We had a few decades in which antisemitism was not tolerated within the GOP, and we were making progress in making Jewish voters realize that antisemitism was found only among the Dems. When Fuentes started the GOP hastened to make it clear that he was unwelcome at all GOP functions and venues and that it wanted nothing whatsoever to do with him. Anyone within the GOP who was antisemitic kept it hidden deep in their heart.
But now a Jewish Democrat voter who is upset about the open antisemitism that is tolerated on that side, and is quickly advancing, looks at our side and sees the same thing, if to a lesser extent, and thinks “What’s the point in switching”?
The evil and wretched communist/Islamofascist/Muslim supremacist Dhimmi-crat subversives and fifth columnists are the biggest and most gleeful purveyors of contemporary Jew-hate, with their persistent anti-Israel slanders, venom and assorted demagoguery.
Look you want to stop antisemitism you go after the sources. Stop importing muslims PERIOD. Go after those in this country actively promoting violence against Jews especially in the educational systems at every level. Go after muslim organizations which lie and promote violence against Jews. Stop pussyfooting around Qatar and other muslim countries which finance violence against Jews in this country, In fact make it illegal for US charities to except foreign contributions especially if such contributions are funded through third parties. Ban muslim students. Let them go further screw up Canada and the UK.
You can’t make it illegal for US charities to accept foreign contributions. The rest of your proposals can only be done to a limited extent. And some of them can only be done by Congress.
@ztakddot: We have multiple sources of anti-Semitism in the USA, although I will allow that Muslim imimgration–and making Islam “cool” back in the Silly ‘Sixties and Sillier ‘Seventies–is a large part of the problem.
