Venezuelans Celebrate Worldwide After Trump Removes Illegitimate Maduro From Power

While TDS-afflicted Democrats here in the United States and dictatorial regimes in Russia, Iran, and China melted down over the Trump-authorized removal of Venezuela’s illegitimate president, Nicolas Maduro Moros, from power, Venezuelans worldwide, including many here in the U.S., took to the streets to celebrate Maduro’s ousting.

Excitement was clearly in the air, for instance, in South Florida, which has a large Venezuelan population:

Revelers chanted “liberty” and draped Venezuelan flags over their shoulders in South Florida on Saturday to celebrate the U.S. military operation to capture Nicolás Maduro and remove him from the country — a stunning outcome they had longed for but left them wondering what comes next in their troubled homeland. For some Venezuelan natives, the military action — culminating months of stepped-up U.S. pressure — brought their dreams of reuniting with loved ones closer to reality after years of heartbreaking separations.

In New York City, Venezuelans clearly didn’t get the Mamdani outrage memo and launched street celebrations:

Over 100 revelers flooded Times Square Saturday night to celebrate the Trump administration’s stunning overnight operation that captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Tores. The raucous crowd were waving Venezuelan flags while singing and dancing as a large sound system blasted Latin American tunes.”We are celebrating because the drug-trafficking dictator is gone,” Augusto Maillet, 45, told The Post.”We are so grateful to President Trump for arresting Maduro. There have been too many deaths, too many arrests, and too much drug trafficking.”[…]Saturday’s party ignited around 6 p.m., shortly after the ousted dictator and his wife touched down on New York soils to face narco-terrorism charges in the Southern District of New York.

On the other hand, there was also this:

But the anti-Maduro crowd wasn’t having it:

They were also cheering in countries like Chile, Peru, and Spain:

Venezuelan migrants around the world erupted in celebration on Saturday following the US-led deposition of President Nicolas Maduro, whose government oversaw one of the world’s largest migration exoduses in recent history.Chants celebrating Maduro’s capture were heard in the streets of Chile’s capital, where Venezuelans gathered to share their joy.[…]Since 2014, some 7.7 million Venezuelans, or 20% of the population, have left the country, unable to afford food or seeking better opportunities abroad, according to the UN International Organization for Migration.[…]In Peru’s capital Lima, dozens of Venezuelans gathered, many wrapped in their country’s flag, to mark Maduro’s deposition.[…]In Spain, thousands of people gathered at central Madrid’s Puerta del Sol and applauded as they watched Trump’s press conference live.

Venezuelan journalist Germania Rodriguez Poleo also weighed in:

“Do not for a moment let your hatred and disdain for Donald Trump have you defending the dictator of my country, which was destroyed by [Maduro] and [Hugo] Chavez and their system 20 years ago. We Venezuelans are very, VERY happy that our dictator has been arrested, removed, and will be put through a trial. It’s the first time we’re seeing justice in 26 years! Now let’s hope they get all of those criminals out of Venezuela and then we can return home.”
