Eric Adams Leaves Parting Gift for Mamdani With Pro-Israel Messaging on NYC Mayoral X Page
“Why did you delete this @ZohranKMamdani. It was a brave message to make NYC jews feel safe. Deleting it on the other hand sends a VERY. CLEAR. MESSAGE. You could be a uniter. Instead you are a dogwhistling-radical behind deniability and a mask of spite and a snake smile.”
It is without question that many of the decisions made and actions taken by now-former New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) in his final weeks as mayor were to make Zohran Mamdani’s life a little harder once he was sworn into office.
There were the Rent Guidelines Board appointments, for example:
With less than two weeks left in office, Mayor Eric Adams on Thursday announced four appointments and reappointments to the city’s Rent Guidelines Board, a move that could complicate Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s plan to freeze rents for more than 1 million stabilized apartments.
[…]
The nine-member board, which makes decisions about rent increases for stabilized apartments, will now have five members appointed by Adams — a majority that could sway the board to follow landlord cost data rather than grant a rent freeze for tenants, a cornerstone of Mamdani’s campaign.
There was also the art garden-affordable housing clash:
New York City’s outgoing Mayor Eric Adams has designated the long-embattled Elizabeth Street Garden as parkland, weeks after Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani vowed to renew the eviction of the plot to create affordable housing. The move could make it more difficult for Mamdani to build housing on the garden, which supporters considered to be in the clear after the city walked away from its eviction plans earlier this year.

And now, with the keys to the mayoral mansion and the official NYC mayoral social media accounts in his hands, Mayor Mamdani and the woke, pro-Hamas members of his administration are now facing another inconvenience courtesy of Eric Adams: All of the pro-Israel messages posted by the ex-mayor since the 10/7 Hamas terrorist attacks that are parked on the @NYCMayor X feed:
The NYC Mayor’s Twitter account is now under Mayor Mamdani’s name, but unlike the White House accounts, prior tweets are not archived or clearly attributed to past administrations.
As a result, there are tweets still visible that are jarring when they appear under Mayor Mamdani’s name — even though they were posted before he took office.

The only thing that I find amusing about Zohran Mamdani being sworn in as the Mayor of NY City is the fact that he inherited Mayor Adams’ pro Israel Twitter account. pic.twitter.com/Tz0LgWuwio

Ironic timing: Mayor Adams’ final tweet before leaving office was NYC’s antisemitism report released under his leadership. At midnight, the account changed to Mayor Mamdani, and the tweet appeared as his endorsement.
We hope he respects its recommendations for 2026. pic.twitter.com/2wsaSS4Xoz

Not surprisingly, it looks like Mamdani’s team is already trying to delete some of them (including the above tweet, which was among the last published while Adams was still mayor) even as screengrabs are being taken. It’s unclear if this runs afoul of any New York state public records laws:

Is Mamdani’s team deleting official historical NYC Mayoral communications?
Here are some of Mayor Adams most ironic posts to have Mamdani’s name on now.
Note Adams condemned the October 8th marches that Mamdani and his bestie Khalil, helped lead.
Such irony. pic.twitter.com/BwQAN2Hnkk

It has been only 14 hours since Mamdani took office, and one of his first acts is deleting tweets about protecting Jews. pic.twitter.com/N0fhQNetOK

At Mamdani’s inaugural address, where he vowed to govern as a Democratic Socialist, he pledged to “protect” all Big Apple residents, regardless of whether they supported him. Left unsaid, but understood nevertheless, is that those words obviously don’t apply to members of the city’s Jewish community, the largest in the world.

Fasten your safety belts, Noo Yawkuhs, you’re in for a bumpy ride!
And they voted this crap in. I’m popping the poppity corn and getting the nacho cheese seasoning ready for the shitshow NY will become.
Wish Adams had put that much energy into his own administration.
The headline on this is misleading. It looks like what happened is that whoever runs the X account @NYCMayor did nothing more than change the display name and profile picture when Mamdani was sworn in and, quite logically, the way X works is profile information is not archived with old posts. So the current Mamdani identification is just displaying over posts made during the Adams administration.
Did they do that on purpose because they knew that would happen, or were they just lazy and made the minimum changes required with no attempt to archive old posts? My bet is the latter.
Yet…
The Jews still voted for him in numbers.. the younger ones
They are planning on the alligators eating them last…
And they’ll walk into the cattle cars too.
The majority of Jews voted against him. Those who didn’t are the kind of marginal Jews who know so little about their own people that they think it’s possible to be a Jew without being a zionist (in the sense that the “anti-zionists” conceive it).
The Reform movement tried that, renouncing all aspirations to return to Zion, renaming their synagogues “Temples” and declaring that “Berlin is our Jerusalem”, but we saw how that turned out.
agree
Who said God doesn’t have a sense of humor?
This man’s administration is going to be an epic failure.
why??

ISLAM TAKES OVER NEW YORK CITY – The residents of New York City have peacefully surrendered to Islam. After nearly 24 years of the occupation of New York by adherents of the radical religion following the attacks on the World Trade Center, a peace deal was signed in November 2025, and set to go into effect on January of the New Year.
