Another High-Level Staffer Resigns From Democrat Graham ‘Nazi Tattoo’ Platner’s Senate Campaign

“Somewhere along the way, I began to feel that my professional standards as a campaign professional no longer fully aligned with those of the campaign.”

Earlier this week, the new campaign manager for Maine Democrat Graham Platner resigned after just four days, supposedly to spend more time with his family. Now his campaign’s finance director has resigned. This is not a good sign for Platner’s candidacy.

The progressive ‘oyster man’ has been struggling ever since it was revealed that he had a Nazi symbol tattooed on his chest for years, which he just covered up with another image.

Politico reports:

Graham Platner’s finance director resigns in latest personnel shakeup

The finance director for Graham Platner’s Senate campaign announced his resignation on Friday, the latest in a series of personnel departures for the Maine hopeful’s high-profile bid that has been marred by controversies over old social media posts and his tattoo with Nazi connotations.

Ronald Holmes, who had served as Platner’s national finance director since August, announced in a post on LinkedIn that he’s leaving the operation. He follows campaign manager Kevin Brown, who stepped down after less than a week on the job citing family reasons, and political director Genevieve McDonald, who resigned in a fiery fashion earlier this month, saying she could not look past some of Platner’s previous Reddit posts, where he self-identified as a communist and downplayed sexual assault in the military.

“I joined this campaign because I believed in building something different — a campaign of fresh energy, integrity, and reform-minded thinking in a political system that often resists exactly those things,” said Holmes in his post on Friday. “Somewhere along the way, I began to feel that my professional standards as a campaign professional no longer fully aligned with those of the campaign.”

Holmes did not immediately respond to messages Friday morning. His previous work included the campaigns of Michigan Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Chris Swanson and Rep. Josh Riley.

For his part, Platner is not ready to throw in the towel just yet.

News Center Maine reports:

Graham Platner: ‘I have no right to give up’ after campaign controversies

“This is not about electing me to the United States Senate. This is about us building power,” Platner told the crowd, while criticizing the American political status quo. “It is a system that has been built by establishment politicians to benefit the ultra-rich and powerful to the detriment of working people.”…

“I am angry that I live in a society that watches us expend our resources on wars and not on schools and not on hospitals,” Platner said. “I am angry that I watch my neighbors work, day in and day out, as hard as they always have, and yet not have it be enough.”

I have a sneaking suspicion that we are not done hearing about the controversial aspects of Mr. Platner.

It would certainly explain the steady exits of high-ranking staffers from his campaign.

National Finance Director?? Why National? Can’t this “deaths head nazi” raise money from the people of Maine?? Nation nap equals Soros.

There is no reason that any statewide campaign should be allowed to accept money from national PAC’s or non-residents of the state. Local and statewide elections should remain local and statewide. Even school board candidates are being supported by $$$ flowing in from outside their locale.

When politicians from other states can longer sit in Congress and write laws that bind me, Ill stop donating to their competition,

When the fedguv rules that my Second Amendment rights as a nonresident are sacrosanct from infringement by other states I routinely travel through, I’ll stop donating to their state candidates who promise not to infringe on them.

It’s called the freedom of speech. .

Same scheiss, different century.

Israel should kidnap this nazi, put him on trial, and execute him ala Eichman. Doesn’t matter that he wasn’t alive and in Germany during WW2. We know his kind. Besides it’s Maine. He wouldn’t be missed. It would likely be a couple of months before someone figured out he was actually gone.

After calling Trump and any associate of his Nazi’s for years the Dems are rallying around a guy who has and actual Nazi tattoo on his chest and trained a left wing militia while calling the people he hopes to represent stupid. If the left had no hypocrisy they would have very little at all.
