Kamala Harris Compares Trump to a Communist Dictator, Then Endorses Zohran Mamdani
This is beyond parody.
Kamala Harris appeared on the Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC last night to promote her pointless new book. It has been almost a year since the 2024 election, and Harris is still favoring media outlets that she knows won’t challenge her with any difficult questions.
During the interview, Harris compared Trump to a communist dictator.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris stopped by “The Rachel Maddow Show” for her first primetime interview since the 2024 election on Monday night, and she used the appearance to explain why President Donald Trump’s handling of the Jimmy Kimmel situation makes him a “tyrant.”
“Here’s the thing: democracy sustains capitalism; capitalism thrives in a democracy. And right now we are dealing with — as I called him at my speech on the Ellipse — a tyrant. We used to compare the strength of our democracy to communist dictators; that’s what we’re dealing with right now with Donald Trump,” she said on MSNBC. “And these titans of industry are not speaking up. And perhaps it is because his threats and the way he has used the weight of the federal government to take out vengeance on his critics is something that they fear. And I get that, I understand why they do.”

Later in the same interview, Harris offered a weak endorsement of Zohran Mamdani, an actual communist. This is beyond parody.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris offered a lukewarm endorsement for New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani in a Monday interview.
Harris sat down with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow for an interview where they discussed her new book “107 Days,” which will release on Tuesday. Maddow highlighted a portion of Harris’ book that discussed the former VP’s “stars project,” where she met with and identified rising stars in the Democratic Party.
Maddow asked Harris for her opinion on the socialist candidate as a rising star and whether she supported him.
“Look, as far as I’m concerned, he’s the Democratic nominee, and he should be supported,” Harris began.
“Do you endorse his candidacy?” Maddow pressed.
“I support the Democrat in the race, sure,” Harris said.

Over the years, I have met many stupid people. I mean, stupid from the sense of they just were not bright. Two-digit IQ people. Well-meaning, decent, kind, but just not bright. Every one of them possessed far more self-awareness than Kamala Harris.
It boggles my mind that she can be so genuinely ignorant, and be so unaware of what goes on around her.
I once had a conversation with Gus Hall (at the time General Secretary of the CPUSA). He was one of the stupidest people with whom I have ever conversed. I was so struck with his stupidity that I remember having this impression to this day, some 40 years later.

Easily the dumbest major-party nominee in the last 100-years and very probably the dumbest major-party nominee in the history of the Republic. And yet, she still won over 48% of the vote. Had Thomas Crooks not missed (mostly), who knows how that 2024 Election turns out. Republicans would have been fractured and there’s a good chance whomever won the nomination wouldn’t have had the turnout Trump did. Harris would likely have won at the top of the ticket if Biden decided to drop out, or taken over shortly after the Inauguration had Biden not dropped out.

Bush2 was a fighter/interceptor pilot. The Air Force does not train stupid people to fly state-of-art, multi-million dollar aircraft. There are too many smart people waiting in line to do the job, people who will be better caretakers of the investment in both aircraft and pilot. Stupid people also don’t often survive when at the controls of high-performance aircraft, which is why the training process is meant to weed such people out. I know his daddy obviously had pull, but the fact that he completed the training and didn’t buy the farm is testimony to more intelligence and skill than that for which he is usually given credit.

I doubt that Kamala Harris has a serious ideological issue with Communism. She seems to be more concerned about DJT being an active president that actually sees himself as the chief executive of the federal bureaucracy bending the department and agencies priorities towards policies that reflect the will of the American people, directing active and innovative approaches to addressing city crime, instigating the rethinking of health policies, commander in chief of the armed forces defending the borders and interests of the US, principal defender of American interests on the world diplomatic stage with innovative tariff policies, and finally a world leader of last resort. After her Presidential tutorial from Joe (autopen) Biden, I can certainly see why she is a bit taken aback at this demonstration of a new and invigorating vision of what an American President can and should be. It certainly is a good thing that Joe (autopen) Biden put “a lid on things” early and often.. He did more than sufficient damage with his limited time on the job.

Democracy sustains capitalism and Trump is a tyrant? That makes zero sense. Trump is the democratically elected president of America. Kamala’s hurt feelings don’t change that reality. Nor can it be denied that capitalism is booming in CCP China where tyranny not democracy reigns.
It seems like the problem is not capitalism or democracy being imperilled, the issue is the Left can’t tolerate not reigning.
It’s too simple to dismiss Kamala as stupid or a communist. I don’t think she’s either. However, she seems to have low consciousness which means her effectiveness depends on the quality of the staff under her so it worked well when she was a DA or AG but failed her miserably as she rose to the national level. She relies on the Democrat party functionaries for her advancement and never questioned their ideology.
These factotums truly believed that they were having their “civil rights moment” when they glum onto trans and lbgtlmnop+ rights as their core social issues while trying to emulate LBJ’s great society lock on minority voters with immigration and wreckless spending. They were living in an echo chamber and Kamala went with the flow because she never learned how to think for herself and challenge the machine that elevated her well past her Peter principle.
She lacks a moral center as a result and thus the exposure of documenting her rejection of Buttigieg because he’s gay ( as opposed to being completely incompetent which is the true reason she wanted him) in spite of supporting the trans/lbtg rights of her party. Maddow called her out on it and she twisted in the wind trying to avoid giving an answer. Her Mondami support is just more of the same.
The only good news is that as she distances herself from any democrat party support and staff, her erratic behavior should increase providing entertainment as we enjoy having dodged the bullet of a Harris administration.
