Trump Threatens California With ‘Large Scale Fines’ Over Males in Female Sports
DOJ Civil Rights Division also threatened to sue California school districts if they implement a rule allowing males in female sports.
President Donald Trump threatened California with fines if it does not stop allowing males to compete in female sports:
A Biological Male competed in California Girls State Finals, WINNING BIG, despite the fact that they were warned by me not to do so. As Governor Gavin Newscum fully understands, large scale fines will be imposed!!!
The male is AB Hernandez from Jurupa Valley High School.
I refuse to describe these males as “trans” because 99% of them are faking it as a way to invade and win.
Hernandez won the state championship in the high jump and triple jump in the female category.
Two girls joined Hernandez on the podiums due to a rule change the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) implemented in an attempt to appease both sides.
If a male wins an event, CIF will allow the female who missed a spot on the podium to receive a medal.
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, the head of the DOJ Civil Rights Division, demanded California school districts “certify in writing” by June 9 that they will not implement CIF Bylaw 300.D.
The bylaw states, “All students should have the opportunity to participate in CIF activities in a manner that is consistent with their gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on a student’s records.”
Dhillon added:
The Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex. Knowingly depriving female students of athletic opportunities and benefits on the basis of their sex would constitute unconstitutional sex discrimination under the Equal Protection Clause. Scientific evidence shows that upsetting the historical status quo and forcing girls to compete against males would deprive them of athletic opportunities and benefits because of their sex. Therefore, you cannot implement a policy allowing males to compete alongside girls, because such a policy would deprive girls of athletic opportunities and benefits based solely on their biological sex, in violation of the Equal Protection Clause.
