Anti-Israel Activists Hijacked the ‘Hands Off’ Protests, Like They Do to Every Movement on the Left

Over the weekend, leftists across the country held what they called ‘Hands Off’ protests, their latest tantrum about Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and DOGE. Of course, before the day was over, the anti-Israel movement had hijacked the protests and the day, just as they always do.
This happens every single time, and it has been this way for years. We’ve been documenting it.

Murals honoring Hamas and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorists were featured Saturday at a protest that American Muslims for Palestine, a group recently accused of serving as Hamas’s “propaganda arm in New York City,” helped organize.
Several Hamas flags, including one depicting a militant of the terror group, were also spotted among the crowd of thousands of protesters, many of whom bused in from across the country. Speakers included Council on American-Islamic Relations executive director Nihad Awad, who once said he was “happy to see” Hamas attack Israel, notorious anti-Semite Linda Sarsour, and Grant Miner, the Columbia University graduate student expelled for storming a campus building.

The Minnesota Democratic Socialists of America showed up at the Capitol today — all white, half of them masked.
Not a single American flag in sight, but they did bring one for Palestine.

This is what eventually doomed the Women’s March as a movement. Will it happen again? We’ll see. Democrats just seem incapable of divorcing themselves from this element of the far left.

Why not. It’s the same people and they already have the signs made.
Exactly. I suspect it’s not really a hijack, but the leftist demo is just an excuse for yet another defense of the perpetrators of 10/7. I can hardly imagine they are winning any hearts and minds. Why do they do it, does it make them feel powerful? Are they hoping a conservative will overreact and then they can make tearjerking propaganda from it?
Recent administrations have stocked the FedGov with such people, who are “protesting” to keep their jobs and positions, and also can’t help but burst out into their intifada songs. Most of the actual public is happy to see the weight of FedGov lightened.
I noticed this from a video at a link in your last article — dozens of people bused onto the site, exiting the bus, every one wearing a keffiyeh. My first thought was “Yeah, that’s the right way to persuade Americans to hate Musk!”

When there is a sizeable movement that gets fed up with this ginned up agitprop and decides to reclaim the ‘Democratic’ Party then maybe the divorce can begin.
Odds are that gentrification cannot and will not save the party — only urban renewal.
It is highly instructive that at pro-Israel rallies, you see Israeli and US flags next to each other. At pro-Palestinian rallies, you only see Palestinian flags with a few flags from other Arab countries, but rarely, if ever, do you see a US flag.
