Pam Bondi: ‘Going After Parents at a School Board Meeting has Got to Go’
“Going after parents at a school board meeting has got to stop, for practicing your religion, sending informants in to Catholic churches must stop.”
Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi promised to stop weaponization of the government:
SEN. LEE: Speaking of unacceptable. We have seen over the last few years the weaponization of government, specifically within the Department of Justice against law abiding Americans, law abiding Americans whose offense was something along the lines of them exercising their constitutional rights, ranging from Catholics attempting to practice their faith to parents showing up to the school board meetings, to people showing up to engage in peaceful protesting outside of abortion clinics.
As attorney general, how will you prevent the weaponization of the Department of Justice against Americans?
BONDI: And, Senator, you just gave the classic example of what’s been happening regarding the weaponization. Going after parents at a school board meeting has got to stop, for practicing your religion, sending informants in to Catholic churches must stop.
LEE: What about branding parents as domestic terrorists or trying to incarcerate one’s political opponent as a sitting president of the United States.
BONDI: Will stop, must stop your senator.

After the circus yesterday with Hegseth letting the Dem Senator’s make fools of themselves it will be hard to stop any of Trumps nominee’s. I have to say that if Hirono isn’t the dumbest most ignorant Senator she is running a close race with a few others and that clown from VA is a pos of the highest order.
Its not Democrats we need to worry about but the useful fools that call themselves Republican Senators that people need to keep a very close eye on.
We already know that no Democrat, other than maybe Fetterman, will vote for any Trump nominee. Question is, how many Republican Senators will betray the voters?
Most of them.
Hirono has pulled ahead of Hank “Capsize Guam” Johnson for the title of stupidest senator of all time.
She recently promoted her Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act as a genius tool for… reducing veteran suicides!
You have to give Hazy Mazie a little bit of slack alcohol does affect the brain. She didn’t seem quite as hammered today though.
I have personally seen parents be deeply in the wrong for their children in education. (Usually this is about their child’s level of fault in a peer incident not a curriculum issue).
That does NOT excuse weaponizing the DOJ against them. I can’t think of any scenario where that is appropriate. This government should truly be ashamed of what they have done.
Having worked as a school nurse for a decade I can confirm it’s never their kids fault their child would never lie to them. The were freaking teenagers they lie to themselves and each other constantly, what should the parents be special.
When it comes to curriculum the biggest problem I saw was parents blaming the teacher for the child’s grades instead of asking the teacher what was going on. They didn’t want to hear that the kid hadn’t turned in a single assignment all semester or that they had ignored the multiple messages sent to them about the Teachers concerns.
She’s trying to use common sense as if it were a principle, which maybe isn’t great in an AG. Discover and go with the principle.
Saying “this needs to stop” isn’t going nearly far enough. The people who made the decisions to go after concerned parents need to face serious consequences, otherwise we are going to see a repeat of this behavior the next time Team Blue is at the helm.
I like Bondi’s combative spirit. Unfortunately, her awful Second Amendment record leaves me cold. Trump made us commitments in his first campaign, then broke them. He made the same commitments again this time. He’s already used up his “benefit of the doubt.”
