Stroke of Genius: Premier “Anti-Woke” Military Watchdog Hires Matt Lohmeier as Executive Vice-President`
Standing Together Against Racism and Radicalism in the Services (“STARRS”) gets a major upgrade by elevating one of the finest individuals fighting the woke takeover of our military to a critical leadership position
We have been posting about STARRS, whose tagline is “Veterans standing against CRT/Woke ideology in the military and service academies,” for a while now.
For those unfamiliar with STARRS, I recommend watching this short, three-minute video explaining their mission and focus:
In May, I posted about a great event held in Guilford, Connecticut and featuring STARRS Chairman of the Board of Directors Lieutenant General Rod Bishop, USAF (Ret.), as the guest speaker: At Connecticut Event, Anti-Woke Veterans Group Decries Destruction of U.S. Military. One of the eye-opening things about the Connecticut event was the compilation of statements current or recent veterans have made to STARRS, showcasing the seriousness of the woke problems in the military:
- “Currently in the military as O-3 [Navy Lieutenant or Army Captain] and let me tell you, it is an absolute joke. Integrity and honor are not rewarded but diversity and sexuality is.”
- “After 20 years of commissioned service, I tell folks all the time—no matter how woke you think the armed forces are, it is much worse.”
- “Every one of my former soldiers who got out did so because of this woke nonsense that harms morale and readiness.”
- “Come from a long line of people who served in the military. I did 20 years myself. My daughter has 16 years in, and my other two sons have served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan but not one of them wants their children to serve in today’s military when they grow up.”
- “My transgender Station commander is personally responsible for at least 4 people deciding to get out….”
- “When DEI started to become a thing, when they started ramming down our throats how we didn’t have to just tolerate people but celebrate depravity and lunacy, that’s where they lost me.”
This is literally the tip of the iceberg, which you can tell by going to the STARRS website where they have catalogued over 1,600 of such statements in a downloadable, 155-page pdf document.
You may also familiar with Matt Lohmeier. In December 2022, in fact, Legal Insurrection held a live seminar with Lohmeier, a former Space Force Lieutenant Colonel squadron commander who was fired, forced to resign, and subjected to an Inspector General investigation within the Pentagon after publishing his bestselling book, Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military, which tore the lid off the military’s obsession with racist and radical “woke” ideologies.

I went to another STARRS event in Arizona last June, and Matt was one of the guest speakers, and he was dynamite: Matthew Lohmeier – a Tour de Force Supporting our Military Members:
Last but not least was the evening’s guest speaker, Matthew Lohmeier.
Matthew began by talking about the drag shows at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada, which we reported on here, in 2021, U.S. Air Force Base Asserts Drag Queen Promotes “Readiness of the Military,” and here, in 2022: Air Force Base Hosted Drag Show During its ‘Diversity’ Festival.
As Matthew explained, earlier this year, an Air Force servicemember stationed at Nellis called and informed him that yet another drag show was planned for Nellis in early June 2023 to kick off this year’s “Pride Month” celebration. Lohmeier sprang into action, calling members of Congress and informing them that the drag shows were imminent. This led to the drag show, and others like it, being cancelled.

Most importantly, Matthew Lohmeier explained to the crowd that there is a full-length motion picture in the works to be released in 2024. He showed a four-minute trailer of the movie, which tells the story of Matthew’s summary dismissal from Space Force after his tell-all book was published, and it was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, because the trailer is likely to go through some editing and updating as the movie production continues, it likely won’t be finalized for viewing audiences until later this year.
Matthew also covered many of the disheartening trends we are seeing in the military these days regarding CRT, DEI, and transgender issues. The types of issues Matt discussed are unfortunately becoming common knowledge among Legal Insurrection readers….

My son was in the Army for four years and the TN NG another thirteen years. He was in Patriot missiles while Army and Infantry while NG, serving twice in The Sandbox then once in The Rockpile. After returning from Afghanistan he saw a dramatic change in his NG outfit – it had definitely gone down hill in less than a year. He announced plans not to reenlist and complete twenty years. The CSM of the TN NG called him begging him to stay in another three years and so did I, but his disgust was so great that he refused, saying that the retirement benefit wasn’t good enough to stick it out. If you knew my son you’d know how proud I am.

Lohmeier is a great choice to help lead the STARRS initiative. The first step required to restore the military to its proper role of breaking things and killing people in the defense of national objectives is to expose ALL of this woke DEICRT garbage to the light of day, and Lohmeier will be excellent in that role.
However, it cannot stop there. The rot is deep and the permanent fix has to go through Congress and the Pentagon.
FIring every single flag officer wandering the halls of the Pentagon would be a good start. Ban the teaching andor implementation of all DEICRT doctrine, and erase DEICRT doctrine already in place. Follow that up with promotions based on merit and adherence to military discipline and traditions.
That would be a good start, and hopefully STARRS can start the ball rolling in that direction.

The crime of being white and male has never been so striking as when working for a company the contracts with the US Government. As if big corporations weren’t in the tank enough- I’m on the inside and see how those color and gender quotas play out.
