The Art of Projection: Obama ‘Wingman’ Eric Holder Claims Trump Will Use DOJ to Prosecute Political Opponents

The Art of Projection: Obama ‘Wingman’ Eric Holder Claims Trump Will Use DOJ to Prosecute Political Opponents

“A second Trump term would have a politicized, weaponized — forget politicized — weaponized United States Department of Justice that would do the kinds of things”

Have you noticed the fact that Democrats keep claiming that Trump is going to eventually do something that they are already doing? It happens so often that it’s genuinely difficult to keep track.

Obama’s Former Attorney General Eric Holder provided the latest example during an appearance on MSNBC.

Real Clear Politics provides a transcript:

MIKE DAVIS, POTENTIAL TRUMP ACTING ATTORNEY GENERAL: I will rain health on Washington, D.C. We have talked about this, but I have five lists ready to go, and they’re growing.

List number one, we’re going to fire. We’re going to fire a lot of people in the executive branch of the deep state. Number two, we’re going to indict. We’re going to indict Joe Biden and Hunter Biden and James Biden and every other scumball, sleazeball Biden, except for the 5-year-old granddaughter who they refused to acknowledge for five years until the political pressure got to Joe Biden.

Number three, we’re going to deport. We’re going to deport a lot of people, 10 million people and growing, anchor babies, their parents, the grandparents. We’re going to put kids in cages. It’s going to be glorious. We’re going to detain a lot of people in the D.C. gulag and Gitmo. And list number five, I’m going to recommend a lot of pardons.

Every January 6 defendant is going to get a pardon.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

REID: How concerned are you that will be the kind of Department of Justice Donald Trump will run in real life if he becomes president again?

HOLDER: Well, I think we have to take them at their word and take Donald Trump at his word.

Whether or not that idiot becomes attorney general or not, they will — Trump will try to put in place an attorney general who will do the — do his bidding. But they have also learned from the first term, and it will not only be who is the attorney general.

The question will also be who is the head of the Criminal Division in the Justice Department, who are the U.S. attorneys around the country, and what hiring authority those U.S. attorneys have, so that we will have an administration in place that will actually do the kinds of things that they tried to do in the first term, but were thwarted by career people and by people, to be fair, other political appointees who decided that they would not go against the rule of law.

I think that second Trump term — and this is something that the voters really need to keep in mind when they go to the polls in November. A second Trump term would have a politicized, weaponized — forget politicized — weaponized United States Department of Justice that would do the kinds of things that, with all due respect, that idiot just said.

Yes, weaponizing the Department of Justice sounds awful. Just imagine if someone did that.

Here’s the short version of the video:

Here’s the full segment:

Do they really think no one sees what’s going on here?

Every week, we get a different Democrat claiming that Trump is going to do something they’re already doing to him or his supporters. It’s pure projection, and either they’re too dumb to see it or they think we are.

Joy Reid is perpetuating the stereotype of the dumb blonde.

As we used to say in the Navy–what goes around comes around. Payback tends to be a bitch.

The left has always said that if you did not commit a crime, then you have nothing to worry about.

Well, as far as I can tell ,Trump has committed no crime or civil infraction, and yet he has a lot to worry about

…mainly his life. I would not be surprised if a suicide vest takes him and several others next January.

That or for better effect, and more likelihood of riots, it will happen sometime this summer on the campaign trail. That, or they will get him at the convention.

It sounds just like when the Palestinians unleash a terror raid against Israel, then immediately demand a cease fire to escape Israeli retaliation. And it should get the same response.

Trump deserves him some retaliation. And Holder — the guy who whitewashed the Ruby Ridge shooters, sent a team of SWAT terrorists to kidnap Elian Gonzales without a valid court order, declared the Second Amendment to be “not an individual right” (and amici’ed against Heller), was notable for never being able to “find a single case of high-level governmental corruption to prosecute,” capped his term as AG by running guns to Mexican cartels and blaming it on the gun dealers whose licenses he threatened to force them to make sales they knew were illegal, and finally got gigged for contempt of congress for refusal to testify about it — Holder should be in the first set of 50 names.

Regarding the firings that I don’t think for two seconds will really happen:

Give them 10 minutes to clean out their desks, then escort them to their car or to their cab or to the train platform. No multi-day notice. If they have an office full of memorabilia, then, eventually take it down and send it to them, and give them a bill for the packing and moving.

They are so delusional at this point they truly believe they are saving democracy. Out of touch and getting worse. If only they had morals and ethics, the delusion would be less harmful.

That said, they should keep talking and doing what they do, especially the sanctimonious disparagement. The tide is starting to turn and they are helping to grow the momentum against them and the delusion.

That won’t work. We need Flynn to get offenders in front of military tribunals

Hey wingman: Does the IRS limiting conservative 501s sound familiar or the fact after 3 year your party is still going after anyone in DCon J6. Seems as usual the left is calling out the other side for doing exactly what they are doing. Lets not forget you called for blood in the streets if you didn’t get your way.

He actually doesn’t think that he and his fellow anti-Trumper deep staters haven’t already committed acts of treason.

Wow, the complete lack of self-awareness is mind boggling. Is this some type of diagnosable mental disorder?

Communists are practically always already guilty of that which they accuse you.

Tyranny: A state where the government lies to you, you know they are lying but you accept the lie and even repeat it yourself as being true. (Ask almost anyone what January 6th was and the answer you’ll get is insurrection).

What Holder is doing is setting the foundation for the next lie your friends and family will be repeating in about six months.

Holder is utterly vile, dishonest and greasy; just like his narcissist-incompetent-dunce-hustler former boss, Obama. Birds of a feather, and, all that.

DOJ tried to undermine our 2nd Amendment with Fast and Furious.

DOJ tried to undermine our 1st Amendment rights by trying to infiltrate the Catholic Church looking for terroists.

Joy Reid looks ridiculous in blond hair.

Eric, don’t go there bro!

Shocking to me was the consistent refusal of Holder to address the various false premises that Joy Reid framed her questions. There was one moment when Reid spoke disparagingly of Bill Barr and Holder never corrected her implying that he accepts her slanderous characterization.

One may (or may not) disagree with Barr’s actions as AG but there is no doubt that he was an honorable man.

An apt punishment would be to place them on a plantation and force them to pick cotton.

Snarling dogs bite when backed into a corner. That is when you throw a steak in where they fight each other over it and you step back out of the way while they bleed out.

“If you elect Trump he’ll do exactly what we did — and nobody wants that!!”

The chickens do tend to come home….so y’all only have yourselves to blame when the next GoP admin plays your brand of hardball.

Eric Holder belongs in jail for his “Fast & Furious Fiasco.” His boss,

His Black Jesus, Barack O’Dinglebarry, belongs in the same jail cell.

“A second Trump term would have a politicized, weaponized — forget politicized — weaponized United States Department of Justice that would do the kinds of things”

Marxist meat puppets always accuse their political enemies of what marxist meat puppets actually do.

Talk about projection… the DOJ was weaponized under Obama and it continued under Trump and Biden. Obama tried to stage a coup using government agencies to undermine Trump. The left always accused the right of what the left is actually doing. All these claims of Fascism? Yeah… that’s on the left.

Well if Trump needs any help setting any of that up all he has to do is go over to DOJ and review Holders entire term as AG.

Also, I still say there needs to be a law that every time one of these morons talks about “American Democracy” someone is there to smack them in the back of the head like a unruly child in church.

He only has four years. When is he going to find time to do more than:
– prosecute the intelligence agents who publicly lied for political effect,
– prosecute the January 6th perjurers,
– prosecute the January 6th people who put out a fake pipe bomb (apparently plainclothes DC police),
– prosecute the January 6th prosecutor who threatened to prosecute people for being at the protest without going inside anywhere,
– etc.

Trump has enough actual criminal behavior to prosecute, let alone abuses of office maybe not criminal but well worth firing for cause and confiscating pension, that he just won’t have TIME to prosecute people merely for being political enemies.

Remind me which party wanted to criminalize speaking in opposition to public housing projects.

The difference between Trump and Biden’s DOJ is our illustrious free press. Biden’s DOJ is doing what they claim Trump will do and getting away with it. Does anyone believe a Trump DOJ could get away with this?

Does anyone believe a Trump DOJ could get away with this?

Nope, Trump couldn’t get away with it for a simple reason. He’d never be able to nominate a U.S. Attorney General that wouldn’t eventually stab him in the back. I mean really, he appointed how many U.S. Attorneys General his first term? Three? Four? And they all ended up stabbing him in the back. Expect a repeat if Trump manages to win a second term in office.

“Trump Will Use DOJ to Prosecute Political Opponents”
Yes, he will. And who normalized this?
But morally, ethically, and legally, there will be a world of difference. A Trump DOJ will have the advantage of being able to charge Trump’s enemies with actual crimes.

Lucifer Morningstar | January 22, 2024 at 9:23 am

Eric Holder. Eric Holder. Obama’s Wingman. Wasn’t Eric Holder the first U.S. Attorney General in the history of the United States to be held in Contempt of Congress for refusing to hand over subpoenaed documents?
