VP Kamala Harris Roasted for Christmas Picture that Included a Gas Stove

An update on Biden’s War on Appliances.

Biden has waged a seemingly endless war on America’s appliances.

So far, the Biden administration goons at the Energy Department have come after our:

And let’s not forget the attack on gas stoves, which was led to the House of Representatives passing legislation to block the Department of Energy from implementing tough new energy conservation rules on gas stoves. It was a rare bipartisan move that was supported by more than two dozen Democrats.

With this in mind, a more self-aware Vice President probably would be mindful of background appliances when taking the Christmas Day photo. However, this is not that Vice President.

Kamala Harris has been mocked online for the second time in two months after she posted a Christmas photo of herself cooking in a kitchen, featuring a gas stove.

Just last month Harris was roundly mocked when she posted a similar photo with her husband Doug Emhoff in their kitchen. Now, once again, the couple appeared standing next to a gas stove, this time for Christmas.

The pictures have incensed Republicans who earlier this year reacted with fury after a Biden-appointed safety regulator suggested authorities could ban gas stoves because they are considered to be major polluters.

Although the proposal was quickly dismissed by the White House, it has now left the Vice President open to attack whenever she is pictured cooking on one – or even standing close.

Other social media comments were directed at Harris’ menu choices, which did not seem to align with the administration’s War on Red Meat.

“Merry Christmas to all. May your day be filled with love, family, and good food,” Harris wrote on X, adding: “P.S. We are making Christmas beef Wellington.”

…[C]onservatives pointed out that the vice president’s choice to cook beef may be at odds with previous statements she made about reducing red meat consumption.

“I thought we’re supposed to eat less red meat for the climate?” Mary Vought wrote.

The good news may be that Biden’s War on Appliances may be winding down ahead of the election year. Furthermore, Jazz Shaw of Hot Air notes that the push to eliminate gas stoves has failed.

Half of the states in the country have bucked the administration and passed laws protecting consumer access to natural gas. At least ten others are currently debating similar legislation. This is quickly turning into the latest battlefront in the red vs. blue war unfolding in the nation. We may be heading toward a future where a small number of blue states will have laws banning things that work while the rest of the country fights to ensure some semblance of normality remains in our lives.

So, it looks like the War on Appliances may be another “L” for Biden.

(As an aside, and in fairness, it looks like they are having fun cooking together.  I hope that isn’t staged.)

“For me, but not for thee” – the mantra of Ruling elites everywhere.

Times like this reaffirm that Global Warming/Climate Change is a hoax and is only being used to undermine our civil rights.

Shouldn’t border czar kamala be down on the rio grande handing out her children’s book to adult males from africa, and human smugglers?

If Nancy Pelosi was there, was she fried?

Kammie exhibits the same level of personal conviction concerning gas stoves as she has with the Southern border crisis. She is a get-it-done kind of person!

Let’s give partial credit for a straightforward “Merry Christmas to all” without any odious wokery.

Absolutely one the best Op/Ed writers with a down to earth realistic outlook on not just the political, but on human and humane perspectives in the real world where people live.

This is much ado about nothing, and makes Reps look silly. Has Harris ever herself called for the banning of gas stoves? If she has, then sure, she’s a hypocrite. But if not, then let her enjoy the gas stove. Just because someone associated with this administration is calling for it doesn’t mean everyone in it is calling for that – including the VP.

Harris has plenty of genuine issues to criticize her for, so this is a waste of effort and makes Reps look ridiculous.

    Point of order.
The proper judgment criterion here is the Democrat’s own perennial “Disavow David Duke Standard.”
Did Kamala ever publicly disavow the move to ban gas stoves?
    No.
    I pronounce her guilty, QED.

Yes, it’s a stretch, but hardly a leap:

“A true environmental champion,” said Tiernan Sittenfeld, vice president of government affairs for the League of Conservation Voters, noting that Harris has had a 91 percent pro-environmental lifetime voting record on the LCV scorecard (that’s better than Biden’s lifetime score of 83 percent). “Senator Harris has been a long-time champion for climate action and environmental justice….We know she will continue the fight for a more just solution to the climate crisis.”

Erich Pica, president of Friends of the Earth Action, an environmental group that would like to see Biden’s recently expanded climate platform go even farther, also had praise for the choice of Harris.

“Senator Harris’ commitment to environmental justice and her desire to hold corporate polluters financially and criminally accountable for their destructive behavior is a welcome sign,” Pica said. “We hope her inclusion on the ticket provides another opportunity for Vice President Biden to increase the ambition of his climate plan and cements climate justice and climate equity as a priority for their administration.

….as a presidential candidate, Harris was consistent in her call for accountability from the oil and gas industry over liability for their past actions on climate change. “Let’s get them not only in the pocketbook, but let’s make sure there are severe and serious penalties for their behaviors,” she told Mother Jones, in an interview last year on the campaign trail.

At a CNN Town Hall on climate change, she said as president she would direct the Department of Justice to launch an investigation of the companies. “They are causing harm and death in communities. And there has been no accountability,” she said.”

What temperature, and for how long? Details.

Let them steal another election and all the appliance wars will ramp up to the extinction of those devices.
And let’s not even get started on how the democrat war on all women (except transwomen) will go into overdrive.
