As much as we have covered the brutality of Hamas during the October 7 attack on Israel, we must continue to present the evidence as it becomes available.
The Washington Post had a article on October 31, 2023, about a visit to the Israeli Forensic Pathology institute’s futile efforts to identify all the bodies recovered from Hamas’ October 7 attack.
The scale and brutality of Hamas’s attack on southern Israel is still coming into focus here, more than three weeks later.Of the more than 1,400 dead, there are about 200 bodies that forensic pathologists have been unable to identify because they were mutilated or incinerated. The damage is so severe, and the task so complex, that the Israeli government has turned to archaeologists to collect bone fragments from the sites of the attack.“Like coal” is how Chen Kugel, director of the national forensic center, where the morgue is located, described many of the bodies he is now seeing….Some of their bodies are almost certainly at the Abu Kabir morgue, or at one of the two other morgues just outside Tel Aviv run by the military and police. But many victims were so badly burned that extracting DNA from their bodies is virtually impossible; militants set fire to homes and barracks to kill those trapped inside. In other cases, entire families were murdered, making it difficult to find survivors to claim the dead….Forensic experts wrote the official cause of death in their case files, which enumerated cases of torture and execution.“Laceration of the throat,” said one.“Gunshot wound through the cheek from 3 to 5 centimeters,” said another.There was a decapitated 10-year-old; a man executed after his wrists were tied with electrical wire; bodies booby-trapped with grenades that prompted frantic evacuations of the morgue.
Audio was recovered of the terrorists admitting they played with decapitated heads while at Kibbutz Nirim:
“They cut off their heads with knives…. take photos of the heads as the guys are playing with them.”

Jewish Telegraph Agency reports on a First Responder’s account of a baby burnt on a cooking element:
It was on the fourth day of the war between Israel and Hamas, Asher Moskowitz recalled, that he saw the baby among the corpses at Camp Shura.Moskowitz had come to Shura, a military base near the central Israeli city of Ramle, as a volunteer with the United Hatzalah emergency response corps. The base had been transformed into a center for identifying those killed in the Oct. 7 massacre by Hamas, the terror group that controls Gaza, and Moskowitz was soon pulled into the gruesome task of helping to unload and transfer dozens of bodies that arrived there.The baby came from Kibbutz Kfar Aza, one of the communities hardest hit in the attack. It arrived in a small bag whose contents told a grim story: a tiny body, burnt and swollen, with the telltale marks from being pressed against a heating element.“They took the baby and put it, literally, in a kitchen oven,” Moskowitz said in a video testimony recounting the assessment of professional staff at the base.

[Graphic warning] I have just seen the raw footage from Hamas terrorists of their attacks on 7 October. The screams of civilians murdered in their cars, babies slain in Disney pyjamas, children begging for “daddy” as he is blown up, the dead spat on. As they mercilessly slaughtered, one terrorist yelled down the phone, “I killed 10 Jews with my hands, dad! I will go live on WhatsApp! Your son is a hero!” If the Holocaust had cameras, this is what you would have seen. I fear too many people do not grasp this.
