Hamas Savagery Worse Than ISIS – Reports of Mass Rapes, Abusing and Beheading Bodies of Israeli Soldiers

Hamas Savagery Worse Than ISIS – Reports of Mass Rapes, Abusing and Beheading Bodies of Israeli Soldiers

“Several of these rape victims appear to have been later executed. Others were taken to Gaza. In photographs released online, you can see several paraded through the city’s streets, blood gushing from between their legs.”

This is not an easy post to write. I feel that I’m watching the rise of Nazism in 1930s Europe, and that we are on the precipice of a globe-changing war.

The Hamas surprise attack on Israel has killed over 700 people and wounded over 2000. But beyond those numbers, the savagery of Hamas and Islamic Jihad has been startling by any standard. In my post last night I compared them to ISIS:

The Hamas surprise attack on Israel has been murderous and brutal. The Islamic supremacist death cult psychopaths have brutalized civilians in manners worthy of ISIS….

Palestinian civil society is ecstatic, with cheering crowds spitting on and defiling the bodies of the dead Israelis and tourists that have been dragged to Gaza.

Israel has no choice but to extract a massive toll on Hamas and other terror groups who also participated. This is not going to be like prior conflicts, such as in 2014, where there was fighting but everyone knew from the start the fighting was over the terms of the ceasefire. Israel was content to leave Hamas in power, viewing the barbarians as the lesser of evils among the many Palestinian terror groups. That will change.

The Israeli Defense Minister said: “The rules of war have changed, we will cripple Gaza so that it will remember it for the next 50 years.”

I’m beginning to understand why, and it’s more than the death toll. He undoubtedly knows more than has been reported.

On top of all the carnage we’ve already reported, such as the abduction of children and murder of families in front of each other, some even more unspeakable crimes are now being reported.

Liel Liebowitz of The Tablet magazine interviewed survivors of the music event attacked by Hamas at which 260 people we gunned down point blank. The survivors tell of mass rapes of women and girls, executions, and other abuses including by 15-16 year-old Palestinians, Eyewitness Account of the Rave Massacre:

Shooting began. Many were executed on the spot. 260 bodies have been found, so far, on the site of the rave.

Many of the young men and women started running in the flat expanse of the western Negev desert. Faced with the spectacle of kids fleeing for their lives on a largely flat surface, the terrorists began rounding up the rest of their victims.

Others were captured and bound and kidnapped. “I saw videos with a male getting held by a group of Arab kids. Like, they’re like 16, 17,” one survivor recalled. “They’re kids, but they’re young men already, and they’re holding this guy, and he looks as his girlfriend is being mounted on a bike and driven away from him. God knows what she’s going to experience … Women have been raped at the area of the rave next to their friends bodies, dead bodies.”

Several of these rape victims appear to have been later executed. Others were taken to Gaza. In photographs released online, you can see several paraded through the city’s streets, blood gushing from between their legs.

This is consistent with other reporting:

And a video that was widely circulated of one Israeli woman kidnapped to Gaza:

There are also numerous reports — but not so far reported by mainstream media — of Hamas circulating images and video on Telegram channels of Israeli soldiers and a foreign civilian they thought was Jewish being beheaded and abused. The images and video appear to be genuine and are consistent with other reports, but have not been ‘independently verified.’

We are dealing with inhuman monsters.

Of course, Hamas made sure to video the abduction of Israeli children.

I’m sure there will be a lot more to be revealed in the coming days.

As I also said in that prior post, Israel faces a difficult choice:

The hostages held in Gaza will not be recovered alive unless Israel gives major concessions and leaves Hamas in power. While of course Israel wants to get them back alive, Israeli military options are severely constrained if that is the goal. Hamas has grown comfortable taking hostages and using them as shields to temper Israeli military responses. The goals of toppling Hamas and getting the hostages back alive are not consistent. Israel faces a tough choice.

Israeli risks not only the loss of over 100 hostages, but also a front opening with Hezbollah and even Iran directly. I think such a multi-front scenario is clearly possible, but that can’t deter Israel from dealing Hamas and the other Gaza terrorists a blow that will be remembered for 50 years.

There’s no turning back if Israel is to survive.

Our own survival is at stake too. We need Israel to do this, too. The complete destruction of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the other terror groups will show the Barbarians who are inside our gates that they will not win either.

Americans were killed also, But we won’t do anything about it. Biden has refused to make any more public appearances after news surfaced that terrorists killed nine Americans. It’s “hide your head in the sand” time for the White House.

Biden’s and Blinken’s prearranged statements lend me believe they knew a Hamas attack was impending on this very day. That they thought it would be perhaps 10 dead and a bunch of rockets. Something the Biden administration intended to use to rid itself of Netanyahu, show itself a peace maker, and funnel much more money into Hamas.

I am so sad for Israel, but so angry as well.
In my country there are enclaves of islamic people cheering this depravity.
Why do we let them in?

That type of barbarism is beyond my ability to understand. Even the crowds. Cheering the repeated rape of young women? The murder of hundreds? The killing of children? How could that be celebrated? Monsters cheering monsters.

They killed hand-cuffed children. They beheaded Israeli soldiers. They paraded their dead bodies through the streets while Islamic women clapped their hands and made noises.

Terrible choice but these monsters have already killed raped and tortured civilians including children and elderly.

I feel Israel has to destroy Hamas and completely crush Gaza. That might well mean killing thousands of military age Gaza men. The bottom line is that those showing any hostility during the coming invasion of Gaza need to face deadly force on the spot. You act like a threat or resist don’t take chances eliminate the threat. Even if they are not hostile they need to be deported to Iran by whatever means necessary.

Hunt down the leaders and execute them like the Black September terrorists were.

If Israel does what is necessary the global press and politicians will condemn them. If they don’t this event will be repeated and probably not just in Israel.

It is time to discuss fuel air bombs. Extract 100,000 for every Jew harmed. Lay waste to West bank and Gaza. Iran should be crippled, returned to stom=ne age conditions. Same for all areas where weapons were left behind. Make no mistake, Biden and his handlers enabled this. There is a case for treason.

Ultimately, this will probably also result in a major war with Iran. Biden’s weakness, as well as years of European liberal laxness in allowing uncontrolled migrations and allowing terrorists to run Middle Eastern countries, has resulted in this potential turning point in modern history. WWIII is on our doorstep. Biden is not the leader we need in these evil and uncertain days.

American leadership matters. As the sage Charles Krauthammer famously observed in one of his famous essays — “Decline is a choice.”

So, we can add Russia’s Ukrainian invasion (as well as noting Russia’s Crimea seizure that took place on narcissist-incompetent, Obama’s, watch) to this Hamas/Iran invasion of Israel, as the latest proof that the global rogues’ gallery is clearly emboldened by the vile Dhimmi-crats’ transparently feckless, stupid, gullible and incompetent foreign policy. If China invades Taiwan, the trifecta of failure will be complete.

Biden’s is not in charge there.

True … though Traitor Joe certainly spent enough money to hire shills in Israel to do his bidding and try to bring Netanyahu down.

Meanwhile, Traitor Joe and his junta have been busy trying to destroy Trump’s Abraham Accords by forcing their idiotic pro-Palestinian position right into the center of the whole thing, when Trump’s great achievement (and genius move) was to take the Palestinians totally out of the Abraham Accords and make it just between Israel and arab nations.

Traitor Joe beefing up Iran was also a major contributor, not to mention the complete mockery he and his junta have made of America.

Yes, it was under Netanyahu, after he had just taken over from a few years of idiots running the show who had formed their pathetic government by allying with islamist parties in Israel …

Netanyahu bears a good deal of responsibility for the absolute failure of Israeli responses at all levels. It was a complete disaster in every possible way. Israel never should have let gazans anywhere near the fence. EVER. That Israel let mass protests happen right at the fence was the key weakness, logistically. Alexander The Great used this trick when breaching India.

Joe could only help from the sidelines. He is not responsible for this failure; Netanyahu is.

a few years of idiots running the show who had formed their pathetic government by allying with islamist parties in Israel …

After he tried to do the exact same thing. Netanyahu, not Bennett, was the one who broke the taboo on including Arab parties in the coalition. He was the one who offered Ra’am a place in his government, but they turned him down. Bennett put together the only coalition that was possible at that time, because Netanyahu stubbornly refused to put the country ahead of himself and step down. Any other Likud leader could have easily put together a 70-member right-wing government, but he refused to allow anyone else to lead the Likud, leaving no alternative but that ridiculous platypus of a coaltion, or new elections. All of the Bennet government’s failures are mostly Netanyahu’s doing.

What I would be interested in is whether a hostile American held back intelligence from Israel that could have helped combat what happened.

And let’s be honest here, people will be thinking this because Democrats are more closely aligned with Iran than they are with Israel.

No, Biden is not “in charge” in Israel, quite obviously, but, decades of Dhimmi-crats’ overt hostility towards Israel and their undue deference granted to Arab Muslim “Palestinians’ ” contrived and fallacious propaganda mythologies of alleged victimhood at the hands of Israeli Jews, have created a climate in which terrorism visited upon Israel is given alleged moral legitimacy by the American and European Left. “Resistance isn’t terrorism,” and all of that nonsensical and offensive agitprop.

Also there are pictures of Palestinians holding weapons we left behind in Afghanistan. Taliban has been shipping them to Iran and then Iran gets them to Hamas and Hezbollah. So a lot of the Israelis killed were killed with American weapons.

Milhouse in reply to David Walker. | October 9, 2023 at 10:04 pm

Something to do with it, yes, but the buck stops at Netanyahu’s desk, not Biden’s. 90% of this is his failure, not anyone else’s. It’s been his failure over decades that led us to this.

Milhouse in reply to David Walker. | October 10, 2023 at 7:00 am

The allegation that Iran organized the attack is guesswork. It’s possible, but there’s no real reason to suppose so. And how would Iran even have got the weapons from Afghanistan? Let alone where’s the evidence they passed them on?

Funding I’m sure they did supply, and yes, that $6B helped free up money they would otherwise have had to spend on food and medicines, and let them spend it on terrorism instead. But that doesn’t make Biden responsible for the attack, let alone justify a claim that it “happened on his watch”.

Israel has no choice but to extract a massive toll on Hamas and other terror groups who also participated.

And those who support them, which includes pretty much all of the population of Gaza. They are animals, plain and simple. But they are not going to get the punishment they all deserve, unfortunately.

Israel will have no security so long as there is a sizable population in Gaza. Period. And Israel will not have security if the West Bank is ever made an independent state. This has always been obviously true and anyone with even half a brain and any sense of history or arab culture has known this for all these years.

And Iran is going to have to actually be defanged very soon.

The world has tried to make pretend for so many decades that none of this is true, but it has always been ridiculously obvious – as obvious as a boy is a boy and cannot become a girl because he clicks his high heels three times.

These are the sorts of obvious truths we understood in WWII.

Louis K. Bonham in reply to ThePrimordialOrderedPair. | October 9, 2023 at 9:21 am

    Unfortunately, you are probably correct.

As the people of Gaza are committed to Israel’s destruction (those actually opposed to Hamas could have left (and likely did) long ago), and have repeatedly demonstrated that they are uninterested in abiding by the conventional rules of war (e.g., don’t hide military installations under hospitals or mosques, don’t use civilians as shields, don’t indiscriminately target civilians, don’t kidnap women and children and hold them as hostages), Israel now has little choice.

Israel is going to have to lay siege to Gaza (which, now having cut off electricity, fuel, water, food, and supplies, and probably telecommunications as well, appears well under way). After an appropriate period of siege with air and artillery attacks, i suspect the IDF will then announce, “within 24 hours, all non-combatants must be in the following defined areas” (from which they can later be confirmed to be disarmed and civilian, and assessed for involvement in Hamas), and then essentially sound El Degüello before going in and reducing everything else in Gaza to rubble and ash. We’re talking destruction a-la Carthage in 146 BC, without the subsequent enslavement of the populace.

Horrible? Of course it is. It’s called war. But when confronted with an enemy whose defining identity is your destruction, and the demonstrated willingness to do so in sick and barbarous fashion, it’s probably the only way.

I read a very disturbing article on Breitbart stating that sixty-five undergraduate and graduate student groups at Harvard had signed a statement blaming Israel for the attacks and expressing support for Hamas. The statement cited the usual dishonest, myopic and biased nonsense — Gaza is an “open air prison;” Israel imposes checkpoints; Israel conducts bombing raids; etc., etc.

No mention of the Islamic imperative to wage war against non-Muslims (ongoing for 1,400 years since the founding of the ideology of “Submission”); no mention of Hamas’s despotic leadership and its squandering of tens of billions of dollars in international aid; no holding Hamas responsible for its perennial belligerence and the impoverishment of its constituents.

It’s easier to simply blame Israeli Jews for Islam’s innumerable and intrinsic pathologies, and, for the savagely evil behavior and predations of its most fanatical adherents. This is as vile and indefensible an expression of evil and moral bankruptcy as you’ll ever see, but, it’s sadly instructive with regard to the moral and cultural rot that the vile Dhimmi-crats have spread throughout academia and universities.

Note that German National Socialists in the 1930’s and 1940’s also blamed Jews for suffering atrocities at their hands, stating that the Jews had brought such an outcome upon themselves with their alleged litany of wrongdoing. That’s the kind of moral stupidity and brazenly evil attitude that contemporary European, Leftist dhimmis and American Dhimmi-crats, are spouting, today — blame the Jews for the atrocities that goose-stepping fanatics commit against them; they deserve this outcome for allegedly “colonizing” land in which Jews have been living for millennia before the founding of the supremacist, totalitarian, belligerent and pathology-laden ideology of “Submission;” millennia before such a thing as a “Muslim” ever existed.

This is our next generation of leaders – https://nypost.com/2023/10/09/thirty-one-harvard-organizations-blame-israel-for-hamas-attack/
Rather like the Jews were responsible for what the Nazis did. Perhaps if these groups really believe this, they should take a “year abroad” to fight alongside Hamas.

      guyjones in reply to jb4. | October 9, 2023 at 11:18 am

The conduct of the Harvard undergrad and graduate student groups in endorsing Hamas and rationalizing/justifying this genocidal slaughter and atrocities visited upon Israeli Jews, is despicable and indefensible.

As you noted, this is no different from Jew-haters and German National Socialists opining during the 1930’s and 40’s that German, European and Slavic Jews had brought their own demise upon themselves, and, were undeserving of sympathy or compassion.

      guyjones in reply to jb4. | October 9, 2023 at 11:20 am

The students will offer succor and support to Hamas from the safety and comfort of their dorm rooms and the campus quad, but, they won’t put their personal safety at risk.

Here’s the bottom line — Hamas, Fatah, Hezb’allah, the Iranian regime, the Taliban and the rest of the global Muslim supremacist/terrorist rogues’ gallery are the moral equivalent of German National Socialists in World War II, they need to be combated as such by all secular, democratic nations, and, any dhimmi or Dhimmi-crat on the Left who defends and rationalizes their genocidal savagery and their atrocities is actively enabling and collaborating with evil. End of story.

Milhouse in reply to guyjones. | October 8, 2023 at 11:45 pm

Not just the moral equivalent. These organizations, or their direct predecessors, were literally allied with the Third Reich, and when their German allies surrendered they did not; they continued with the same program, and continue it to this day. Should they ever, G-d forbid, succeed, it will not be a second Holocaust, but Part II of the original one; to them the 80-year interruption is irrelevant.

(For instance, Hamas is an offshoot of the Moslem Brotherhood, which was founded in the 1930s and modeled on the Nazi Party; it was part of the Arab alliance with Germany.

guyjones in reply to Milhouse. | October 9, 2023 at 8:06 am

Yes, that is correct. That infamous photograph of Haj Amin al-Husseini (the Arab “Palestinian” leader) meeting with Hitler in Berlin, as the two reprobates unite over their shared Jew-hate, needs to be more widely disseminated and talked about.

The. LA Times archived story from 2013ish “flour power” is quite revealing.

Funny how Obama supports Fascists of Color (FoC)

This kind of warfare by Palestinians and Hamas against Israel was common during past centuries. Today we get to see pictures. Sympathizers with Hamas provide aid and comfort. They should know no sanctuary or peace among civilized people.

Israel should ignore hamas and totally wipe out iran first. Leave nothing standing or alive. Teach the funders of terrorism it’s going to hit home.
hamas will get the message and I’d bet those hostages would be released with kid gloves. But also take out the leaders and families of hamas so there is no doubt – FAFO.

    Milhouse in reply to 4fun. | October 8, 2023 at 11:48 pm

Not only can’t they ignore Hamas, but also the Iranian people are not Israel’s enemies. Only the mullahs’ regime is. Many Iranian people support Israel, and under the Shah Iran and Israel were friends; if the mullahs are overthrown that can happen again.

Whereas the population of the Gaza Strip have been brainwashed since childhood into thirsting for Jewish blood, and I fear no “denazification” program can ever heal them.

There are no “innocent palestinian civilians” in Gaza. Kill them all.

The horrific savagery reflects a seemingly uniquely virulent type of hatred of Jews and Israel. The demonstrations in support of this savagery in Western cities also show a unique hatred of Jews and Israel of some among us.

To imagine people would be out in the streets supporting this vicious evilness the day after it happened is shocking.

There’s no fixing this; there’s no negotiating with this; it must be thoroughly and overwhelmingly crushed … before it’s too late for all of us.

I pray all the hostages will be released or rescued unharmed.

Our support for Israel must be unwavering. Civilization is under attack.

Jews deserve to live in peace, the only way that can happen is eradication of so called Palestians, actually they never were Palestinians, just rabid animals.

Take out the Iranian nuclear capacity, Ample justification now exists.

As horrific as it is, this has actually redpilled a decent number of bleeding heart liberals.

The problem is that they posted all this crap so publicly and PROUDLY that the leftist propaganda machine didn’t have time to add ‘context’ to tell them lies about how they should feel about it, or lie that they were AKSHUALLY soldiers/etc. They just saw the raw, unfiltered rapes and killings of civilians, and the Palestinians cheering in the streets.

Particularly the girl in the truck being carted around as Palestinian ‘civilians’ cheer in the streets and spit on her body. A couple propaganda mouthpieces made an aborted attempt to claim it was a soldier, but the tattoos on her legs are so distinctive and easily identifiable that it’s simply not possible to claim it’s anybody else.

Far from all of them, but a decent number of liberals were forced to come face to face with the savage brutality of the so-called ‘oppressed’ targeting civilian women and children.

MoeHowardwasright | October 9, 2023 at 4:40 am

This is the culmination of 4 generations of children raised on hate by the Palestinians, hamas, hezbolla, etc. There is no reasoning, negotiation or talks with these people. The Israelis have only one option, total and complete war. Do not leave two stones touching each other in Gaza. Completely destroy it as a functional place
to live. Heard the remainder into Lebanon. Same for the West Bank. If Iran takes a hand go after the mullahs and the city of Qom. This is a matter of survival for the State of Israel. Nothing more, nothing less.

“pray all the hostages will be released or rescued unharmed.”

That’s just not going to happen, is it

Each circumstance is important both individually and as part of a complex of issues related to the Israeli security system.

Oddity No. 1 – Israel did not know about the preparations for the attack.

Gaza is a narrow piece of land with an area of 365 square meters. km. It was believed that it was bugged and monitored far and wide by the Israeli army and intelligence services, but during the attack it turned out that this was not the case. Presumably, Hamas developed a system for coordination and communication that excluded electronic contacts, and somehow the Palestinians managed to hide everything from Israeli intelligence.

Oddity No. 2 – Israel was unable to prevent the attack.

Shortly before the attack on checkpoints and major cities on October 7, Hamas organizedly deployed MLRS, ground forces, paragliders and other equipment to positions. The preparations and first steps went unnoticed, and the preemptive strike was not launched.

Oddity No. 3 – the alarm system at the border did not work.

The electronic systems at the border, which Israel had invested billions of dollars in building and equipping, were rendered useless. Numerous cameras and sensors also did not help detect and stop the Palestinian attack, as well as combat patrols, which for some reason simply were not nearby. Palestinian drones were able to easily hit automatic machine guns and sensor towers, and Hamas assault teams calmly blew up the fence and crossed the border. Nobody is trying to attack them. Due to the failure of the alarm, hundreds of IDF soldiers were killed in the camps, in the barracks, and while sleeping.

Oddity #4: Hamas tactics.

Contrary to popular belief, the Palestinians did not bypass IDF fortifications and bases. They aggressively stormed both checkpoints and bases where armored vehicles were located. At the same time, Hamas stopped using tanks – apparently due to the low qualifications of the attackers or lack of need. It is still unclear where the sentries, security guards on duty and cover forces were located at that time.

Oddity No. 5 – the readiness of military equipment.

The Israeli Merkava Mk.4 tank, destroyed by a copter drop, was hit in one of the most unprotected areas – from above. At the same time, the Trophy active protection complex was apparently disabled. The footage of the destruction of the tank and the capture of the crew clearly shows that the vehicle’s gun is covered. This suggests that the crew did not prepare the vehicle for battle and was counting only on intimidation, which is not only a gross violation of the instructions, but also simply stupid in such an attack.

Oddity No. 6 – panic in border cities.

All communities, especially when it comes to a region like the Gaza Strip, must have plans in place in the event of an escalation of conflict. However, no organized warning or evacuation was carried out. Local security forces turned out to be so few in number and poorly armed that they were quickly eliminated by the Palestinians.

Oddity No. 7 is the difference in coordination between the IDF and Hamas.

Until approximately noon on October 7, the Israeli government showed virtually no response to the fighting. In the country it is Saturday morning, Shabbat. Only at 14-15 hours did the security forces begin to gather reservists and organize retaliatory raids. However, the death of the commander of the Nahal infantry brigade, Jonathan Steinberg, indicates a hasty reaction with the forces that were somehow able to be assembled immediately. Apparently, Nahal’s intervention in the battles against Hamas was initiated by the brigade commander and was not the result of a direct order from the General Staff.

At the same time, in the next two days, the IDF will presumably begin a military operation inside the neighborhoods of the Gaza Strip. However, actions in open areas and in residential areas are different. An attempt by Israeli ground forces to enter the Palestinian enclave will almost certainly be accompanied by a large death toll on both sides.

Heads will need to roll for this failure.

However each and every single death is on the head of Hamas.

Palestinians have had hundreds of billions of dollars in aid and what do they have to sow for that! Sweet fuck all.

Hamas could have invested that money in bettering the lives of Palestinians and building institutions that would have benefitted Palestinians and improved their lives.

They instead chose to dedicate themselves to killing Jews for the crime of being Jews.

So I’ll not shed a tear for every Palestinian that will die. They chose this. Let them reap what they have sown.

    RAM500 in reply to Kreemerz. | October 9, 2023 at 8:10 am

This time, the air and artillery prep have to be overwhelming, in no way just symbolic. Those who willingly host Hamas should die just as Hamas should.

Don’t forget the direct and indirect financial support of Hamas by US, EU, UN, and other agencies. Ot the US largesse flowing to Hamas’ current sponso,, Iran, via Biden and his flunkies, Antisemitic cowards at high levels use the likes of Hamas as contractors of evil; they mustn’t get their own hands dirty, of course. The PA is no better than Hamas.

Why did Israel’s famously competent intelligence apparatus fail? I sure hope the Occam’s Razor reason is wrong.

CommoChief in reply to Groty. | October 9, 2023 at 8:45 am

The same reason we got caught with our pants down at Pearl Harbor and Hickam Field, hubris. The same reason our intelligence services totally mixed the collapse of the Soviet Union, no one believed it could happen that fast.

Don’t put so much stock in the competence of any govt entity, even the military and Intel services. They work for the same goofy political class that can’t fix pot holes, educate our Students or balance the budget. The same weirdos who want to tear out coal, nuke, Nat gas and hydro electricity generation capacity and literally replace it with sunshine and wind.

The rapes are to be expected.

Per Islam, Muhammad is the perfect example, and everyone should strive to be like him.

Muhammad had and used sex slaves.

Ya know, growing up in Highland Park, IL, my mother always mentioned that Jews were not allowed to live in Park Ridge and Kenilworth…I get that.

Every intel agency missed this.

The Arabs are animals you don’t reason with mad dogs
You kill them.

This is all part of the plan. Weaken America.
Arm the enemy all those weapons joe bite me and the Dems left behind in Afghanstain. I believe the time goes short
The LORD Jesus is returning soon.
If you have not asked him to forgive your sins and save you from Hell. Now would b a good time.
This is all outlined in the BIBLE.
The book of Revelation.

Did anyone notice that Rep. Dan Goldman (D- NY) and his family were hunkered down in a hotel while in Israel this past weekend? They’re home now, thank G-d..but hopefully a little bit redpilled.

One can hope. I’ll wait for confirmation. The Dhimmi-crat Party is infested with Jew-hate and anti-Israel venom, and, sadly, some American Jews who support the Party aren’t immune from joining in the Israel-bashing, so that they can attempt to prove their ideological fealty by selling out their own people and undermining Jews’ ancient homeland and its modern revival. The execrable career apparatchik, comrade Bernard Sanders comes to mind. There are others, unfortunately.

Capitalist-Dad | October 9, 2023 at 10:31 am

The IDF should adopt Gen. Phil Sheridan’s policy but substitute “Palestinian” for “Indian.” Kill ‘em all, let Allah sort them out.

Scott Adams nails it today. They mean to provoke outrage so large as to get Israel to do something that takes Israel out of the victim role on the world stage, namely the Holocaust narrative support disappears.

Which, he says, is Israel’s biggest asset. Everything else depends on it.

rhhardin in reply to rhhardin. | October 9, 2023 at 10:39 am

“Palestinians are willing to suffer to get what they want” is the motivation.

paracelsus in reply to rhhardin. | October 9, 2023 at 11:40 am

Muslims that die prosecuting an action that they believe defends their faith go straight to their “heaven” and become martyrs for the rest of the Muslim world.
      Never, but never forget this.

guyjones in reply to rhhardin. | October 9, 2023 at 12:14 pm

Where Adams gets it wrong is that I’d posit that Israel has already lost the “victim role,” during narcissist-incompetent, Obama’s, wretched tenure. Just look at the reaction to this genocidal savagery — mainstream media outlets in the U.S. and in Europe; Harvard students and students at other universities; pro-Hamas demonstrations in Canada, London, New York City, Washington, D.C., Turkey, and, many others — all gleefully expressing support for Hamas and rationalizing the murder, torture and rapes of Jews.

It’s painful to concede, but, the truth is that the Arab Muslim “Palestinian’s” utterly contrived and fallacious propaganda mythologies and narratives propagated over decades and alleging “oppression,” “apartheid,” “occupation” and the rest of it, at the hands of Israeli Jews, have been hugely successful and have received total deference and promotion by the mainstream media.

Milhouse in reply to guyjones. | October 9, 2023 at 10:01 pm

Israel lost the “victim role” in 1967, when it dared to not be wiped out. Humorist Efrayim Kishon wrote a brilliant satirical column after the war, apologizing to the world on his country’s behalf for having survived, and fantasizing about how the world would have reacted to the expected outcome.

In the late 1960s Democrats were so solidly and instinctively pro-Israel that Bill Buckley suggested that Israel should annex South Vietnam, so that the Democrats would suddenly become in favor of defending it. But that quickly turned around once Israel emerged as a power that intended to survive. Suddenly the left discovered the new “victims”, the Arabs (they weren’t yet known as “Palestinians”).

I’m amazed that nobody has yet mentioned that the Israeli government that removed (and prevents the holding of) “weapons of defense” from the households of able-bodied men/women is greatly at fault for the slaughter that has occurred.
Men and women who are able to defend themselves against bloodthirsty animals without morals can not be raped, taken hostage, or slaughtered like sheep.

guyjones in reply to paracelsus. | October 9, 2023 at 12:17 pm

Netanyahu did expand a civilian firearm ownership program, prior to this attack. More work needs to be done, on that front.

Milhouse in reply to guyjones. | October 9, 2023 at 9:42 pm

“Expanded” from a draconian system to something only slightly less draconian. See here, where I translated the Police Minister’s press release announcing the latest and very slight relaxation of gun control regulations that still go beyond Susan Brady’s and Gaby Gifford’s wildest dreams.

Steven Brizel | October 9, 2023 at 12:08 pm

The only good terrorist is a dead terrorist.

The barbarians have breached the gate. And I wonder if Israel will survive. I saw the opinion piece in Newsweek from Dan Perry, unknown to me but listed as the Managing Partner of Thunder11. Thunder11 advertizes itself as “specializing in thought leadership.” Perry references, and then contributes to, the “poisonous political divisions” in Israel with the following: “Israel is currently led by a spectacularly incompetent far-right government, run by a criminal defendant to boot.” So Hamas chose their moment wisely. (Or the iranians did on their behalf.). And the whole questlion of whether Israeli intelligence is loyal to the present government is open to question. It would seem not. And so Israel may not be in a position to defend its citizens if its intelligence apparatus is willing to sacrifice them for political purposes.

https://www.newsweek.com/new-gaza-war-israel-highlights-false-conception-opinion-1832890

Sadly, Israel must accept that most or all of the hostages will be raped and killed. That includes the men and children. It’s the Muslim way.

So Israel must take a biblical view and punish Hamas with a hundred to one ratio, of course of Muslim fighters, not innocent civilians.

Perhaps Israel should also deport all Muslims from Gaza, annex Gaza, and give it to Israeli settlers. I would also suggest the same for the West Bank. Make the Muslims pay a dear and bitter price.
