AOC and The Squad Demanded Israel De-escalate Even Before Israel Responded To Hamas Murdering, Kidnapping, and Raping Hundreds In Surprise Attack

“As part of achieving a just and lasting peace, we must do our part to stop this violence and trauma by ending U.S. government support for Israeli military occupation and apartheid.” – Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.)

The brutal terrorist attacks on Israel, which has seen the massacre and taking hostage of civilians by Hamas complete with bodies being paraded through Gaza streets, have brought forth a plethora of reactions from American politicians and presidential candidates, many of whom unequivocally condemned Hamas’ actions and stated their support for Israel to respond with full force.

Then there were the statements issued by members of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s so-called “Squad.” While predictable considering the anti-Semitism many of them have shown towards Israel in the past, they are nevertheless worth documenting for the record.

First up is AOC, who stated that “violence will not solve the ongoing oppression and occupation in the region” while calling for “an immediate ceasefire and de-escalation” to “save lives”:

Rep. Ilhan Omar wrote that “Such senseless violence will only repeat the back and forth cycle we’ve seen, which we cannot allow to continue” and also called for “deescalation and ceasefire”:

In another tweet, Omar suggested Palestinians were defenseless and were “deserving of protection from the international community”:

“Reminder, Gaza doesn’t have shelters or an iron dome and to please pray for them. May peace prevail in the region and move us towards a moral awakening to care about the human suffering we are seeing. Palestinians are human beings who have been in besieged and are deserving of protection from the international community.”

Rep. Ayanna Pressley called for “an immediate ceasefire & de-escalation,” saying it “is long past time to stop this cycle of violence & trauma, and work toward a just & lasting peace in the region”:

Rep. Jamaal Bowman wrote “We need a way to end this deadly violence that is killing and traumatizing generations of Israelis and Palestinians alike — including the blockade of Gaza”:

Similarly, Rep. Cori Bush’s official statement took a blatant blame-the-victim approach in response to the “ongoing violence in Palestine and Israel”:

“As part of achieving a just and lasting peace, we must do our part to stop this violence and trauma by ending U.S. government support for Israeli military occupation and apartheid.”

As of this writing, Rep. Rashida Tlaib has not issued a response, which considering her rabid activism on behalf of her fellow Palestinians speaks volumes.

Flashback:

Relatedly, the Democratic Socialists of America – of which AOC and most of her Squad comrades are members – are holding a rally today at 1 p.m. in a show of “solidarity” with the Palestinian people:

The political party’s New York City chapter on Saturday announced its “All Out for Palestine” demonstration as rockets rained down on Israel from Hamas terrorists. The assault on the Jewish state, which included attacks on dozens of Israeli cities and towns, has left at least 250 dead and more than 1,400 wounded.

Included in the Democratic Socialists of America are all four members of the left-wing “Squad”—Democratic congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Rashida Tlaib (Mich.), Cori Bush (Mo.), and Ilhan Omar (Minn.)—as well as fellow Reps. Jamaal Bowman (N.Y.) and Greg Casar (Texas). None of their offices responded to a request for comment. Both Bowman and Ocasio-Cortez are members of the organization’s New York chapter. Rep. Summer Lee (D., Pa.) left the party in 2021.

They’re telling us who they really are again, and we should listen to them and call them out accordingly every step of the way.

Israel attacked. Thousands of missles. Hundreds of dead. Thousands of wounded. Tons of hostages from 2 years old babies all the way up to 85 year old grandmothers.

What is the response from these four illustrious women? “Israel better not do anything. Tell them to de-escalate now before some innocent people get hurt.”

There are also dead and captured American citizens, evidently just a minor inconvenience for the Squad, not worthy of a mention.

Having watched Gaza & West Bank ingrates for over 50 years and studying the issue over that time, it is my opinion that those ingrates are 99% wrong. How about we ship the squad over that after tattooing their foreheads with Americans, and F-Pally?

This is war, it has been sind the 1880s. and even worse since WW2 ended. How many Americas are dead or maimed? Consider extracting retribution at 100,000 each.

Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan גלעד ארדן ~

“Dozens of Americans are being held hostage”

SecState Blinken stated that “several Americans” were killed.

How many of them were/are constituents of the squad?

venril in reply to Paula. | October 9, 2023 at 12:11 pm

Yep – I wonder how many of those innocent civilians were cheering in the streets? I realize the Hamas runs Gaza as a dictatorship, hurting it economically but to what degree does the urge to destroy Israel align between the Hamas and the population?

I think Israel has given warning to civilians to vacate the region as pain is coming. Hamas started this war and the civilians still tolerate Hamas. War is hell.

If I ever feel the urge to brutally sucker punch someone, when he starts to get up off the ground, I’ll demand immediate de-escalation.

Hopefully the Squad and the world community will be in the crowd surrounding us and also call for de-escalation.

The Gentle Grizzly | October 8, 2023 at 2:51 pm

So. How many Jewish votes with AOC and Jamaaal Bowman get in the next election? Democrats, you know.

My recommendation: Israel should nuke Gaza from orbit. The world will get by just fine…

Maybe these girls along with Mr. Fire Alarm could do their country a favor and drop dead.

It’s amazing how many low-IQ Kool-Aid drinkers warship these idiots.

    henrybowman in reply to 2smartforlibs. | October 8, 2023 at 3:44 pm

    Where’s our resident Mr. IQ?
I’d love to read why these huge Ashkenazi constituencies continue to elect all these female cheerleaders for religious and ethnic communities that want to wipe them out.

      JohnSmith100 in reply to henrybowman. | October 8, 2023 at 8:50 pm

For whatever reasons, people find it really hard to change their minds about politics and religion. Also, IQ is only one factor in what drives success,

Most of them don’t have a lot of Jewish constituents. But if your real question is what makes secular Jews so wedded to the Democrat Party, the basic answer is that in the absence of actual Judaism the space it formerly occupied has been taken by a subconscious fear of Christianity, derived from folk memories of Christian antisemitism in the last century. This has so twisted them that they are now afraid of all serious religion, including Judaism! They’re OK with people who are only nominally religious, as they are, but when they see Evangelicals and the more serious kind of Catholics, who take their religion seriously, they subconsciously get ready for a pogrom; and when they see Jews who look uncomfortably like those people, because they too take their Judaism seriously, they get the same subconscious feeling. And since the Republican Party is so associated nowadays with serious religion, they retreat into their secular religion of Social Justice, for which they have invented a Hebrew term that they mostly pulled out of their rear ends, Tikun Olam. That is how we see abortion and open borders become “Jewish sacraments” to them.

Why are these idiots always given special attention? What makes them special? What makes them unique is their ultra stupidity. Maybe they are collectively a bunch of closet lesbians.

It’s like Black Lives Matter.

I have a recommendation for the US Government. Let’s give Israel a squadron of B52s and all the Mk82s they need to end this problem once and for all. Gaza is nicely shaped for this type of bombing.

Evil people making excuses for evil.

“The Squad” = comic relief

Fuel-air explosives over Gaza and the West Bank, then napalm the rubble. Air drop salt and leave the rubble.

No survivors.

The only good Muslim terrorist is a dead Muslim terrorist.

As a teenager in the 70’s I was always afraid to fly because of terrorist aircraft hijackings.

It was almost exclusively Islamic terrorists, who were brutal. No other group left a more indelible mark than this group. It wasn’t helped when I joined the AF and spent a considerable amount of time in the Middle East.

I don’t understand why we can’t rid ourselves of this scourge.

They are scum

I have no idea why anyone pays attention to that clutch of anti semites except morbid fascination of what nonsense is spewed from their pieholes next.
Those Pali Terrorists? Raze Gaza to the ground, evict all the terrorist inhabitants to Iran and settle with Jewish adults who don’t live to murder children and women

Oh, don’t worry it will be “de-escalated”, in fact I my suggestion is that they use rules of wart and “de-escalate” any one of the attackers right then and there.

De-escalate? Sure, just after Gaza is turned into a parking lot.

Things do not add up. I have been to Israel when I was in the USAF as a subject matter expert on a system the US provided to Israel. Massad has better intelligence on what is going on in Israel than any of the three letter organizations does on the USA. Any “important” anniversary dates of wars or attacks they gear up. While I was in Israel I had a “handler” that was with me any time I was outside of my hotel room. She was a 20 year old IDF hottie and was armed to the teeth with concealed weapons. Israel is the world’s leaders in human behavior. their methods of airport security are the best in the world. They saw this coming and let it happen.

    Milhouse in reply to Tsquared79. | October 9, 2023 at 12:21 am

Nope. They didn’t see this coming, any more than they saw the war coming 50 years ago, until it was too late to do anything to stop it.

I remember seeing an election ad that the Labor Party ran in the 1973 Israeli election, before the Yom Kippur attack. It boasted of how, thanks to the Labor Party’s excellent government, all was quiet on the Bar-Lev Line (Israel’s then-southern border). Needless to say, when the postponed election finally happened in 1974 they didn’t re-run that ad.

They don’t give a damn about people being raped, and murdered here, so no surprise they don’t give a damn about those in the only middle-eastern democracy either.

I would like to see the squad in stocks, nude in the middle of the hood. They are ugly, but I am sure there are nasy people who would find them enteraining 🙂

Meanwhile, Israel’s Police Minister has announced that he is relaxing Israel’s draconian gun laws, to something just a little bit less draconian. Here’s my translation of the press release:

Today I have directed the Firearms Licensing Branch to embark on an emergency campaign in order to allow as many citizens as possible to arm themselves.

The program will come into effect within 24 hours. Here are its main points:

1. Every citizen who satisfies the criteria specified for carrying private arms for self-defense and service in the security forces, and who has no criminal or medical past, will be required to undergo a telephone interview instead of a physical interview, and will be able to receive a permit to carry firearms within a week.

(The self-defense criteria: Residence in an eligible settlement; veterans ranked Riflemen 07 or higher; officers ranked lieutenant or higher, and NCOs ranked first chief sergeant or higher, in the IDF or the security services; service in special units; firefighters, police officers, and workers and volunteers in rescue services.)

2. Any citizen who has received a conditional permit to purchase a firearm and who has not purchased a firearm during 2023, and the conditional permit has expired, may purchase a firearm immediately without needing to submit another application. This exemption applies to about 4,000 citizens.

3. Any citizen who has deposited his weapons [with the police] in the last half year because of failure to take refresher training or renewal training, may receive his weapons back. This exemption applies to about 1,800 citizens.

4. In addition, starting this coming Tuesday, conditional permits for carrying firearms will be issued with a permit that allows the purchase of up to 100 rounds, rather than 50 as is the case today.

All this is in addition to the change in criteria that is to happen soon.

I thank the staff of the Firearms Licensing Branch, the Citizens Response Department of the Israeli Police, and the Health Department workers, for their so-important commitment that will allow as many citizens as possible to arm themselves, and to defend themselves and their surroundings as needed.

End of Press Release.

Seeing how this is the “relaxed” version, you can appreciate how difficult it usually is to exercise the RKBA.

CommoChief in reply to Milhouse. | October 9, 2023 at 8:30 am

Thanks for this. It’s always surprising to me that the lefty, progressive types in Israel can gain much political traction for an anti firearm agenda given the realities. I can see how these folks could gain support for other aspects of a progressive agenda on spending, social programs and the embrace of a general EU style outlook. But not on private firearm ownership. It’s a tough neighborhood with a long history of sudden violence and even prior to this past week one didn’t have to search a history book for examples where an armed public, capable of offering immediate resistance would have been beneficial.

SeekingRationalThought | October 9, 2023 at 7:29 am

Based upon their political careers and beliefs, the members of the squad have a deep and personal responsibility for the deaths and rapes in Israel. It’s to be expected that the political entrepreneurs and careerists in the squad don’t accept that responsibility. They are sociopaths concerned only with their on lust for wealth and power.

The 4 Hoes of the Apocalypse.

All of them deserve some quality time with Hamas or some Taliban Chip’n’Dales.

AOC is dumbest of the bunch and Ilhan is more evil than Taliban or Hamas.

All in all, they would make a fine harem for Sheldon “sissie” Whitesouse..
