Joe Biden Lawyers Likely Conducting Cleansing Operation Of Hunter-Related Material When Stumbled On Classified Docs

Joe Biden Lawyers Likely Conducting Cleansing Operation Of Hunter-Related Material When Stumbled On Classified Docs

My interview on the Tony Katz Show: “this was a cleansing operation” to make it harder for Republicans to subpoena documents regarding Biden’s China and Ukraine dealings for his son. “And in the course of that cleansing operation, the Biden lawyers were like, oh crap, we’ve got classified documents in here. What do we do now? … I’d like to know what were in the documents that weren’t classified that .. are the real scandal here.”

On February 3, 2023, I appeared on the Tony Katz Show to talk about my post, College Board Bends The Knee To DeSantis, Drops CRT and BLM From AP African American Studies, Adds “Black Conservatives,” and my take on the searches of Biden’s office and residences for classified documents.

From the show description:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is continuing his mission of keeping ‘wokeness’ out of education. In recent, DeSantis has completely defunded all Florida public universities DEI and CRT budgets. The governor is now making waves by challenging universities to eliminate the same equity topics in the classroom.

DeSantis initially rejected the College Board Advanced Placement African American Studies due to incorporating Critical Race Theory and Black Lives Matter in the curriculum. The College Board made an announcement this week that they have stripped much of the radical subject matter to become more educational. The board also added a new topic “Black Conservatism” as an idea for research projects.

William Jacobson from Legal Insurrection, joined Tony to discuss DeSantis leadership and the current state of CRT within education.

The segment on CRT is at the start, and the segment on classified documents starts at the 10:30 mark. Key takeaway on Biden is that the classified documents are a distraction, something I wrote about in The Unclassified Docs Biden’s Lawyers Were Searching May Be The Key To The Real Scandal

From the interview:

…. I’ve always argued, or at least argued for weeks, that I think the classified documents at the various Biden locations are the tail on the dog here.

I don’t think that when the lawyers originally discovered that there were classified documents at the UPenn satellite office in Washington, DC, I don’t think they were actually looking for classified documents. I think they were looking for things regarding Hunter Biden’s business dealings, Joe Biden’s dealings with foreign governments on behalf of Hunter Biden, that were in his vice presidential papers that were kept at UPenn.

I think they were looking for other things because they knew that Republicans were going to be taking over the Congress and would have subpoena power, and Republicans could subpoena UPenn to turn over all those documents and all those records. If the records are not physically at UPenn, Republicans in the House can’t [subpeona UPenn). They’d have to subpoena Biden, which raises all sorts of issues.

So I think that this was a cleansing operation conducted by Biden’s lawyers. Why else would lawyers be doing this rather than just hire a moving company and move the boxes? I think this was a cleansing operation. And in the course of that cleansing operation, the Biden lawyers were like, oh crap, we’ve got classified documents in here. What do we do now?

Well, they’re smart enough lawyers, they knew they couldn’t just throw them out. They knew they couldn’t. So they, they called their buddies, people they knew at DOJ and worked out turning them over.

So I don’t think this is really about Joe Biden having classified documents. I’d like to know what were in the documents that weren’t classified that have to do with his vice presidential dealings that could be extremely embarrassing and are the real scandal here. The real scandal here is that Joe Biden sold access to himself and maybe worse than access in order to benefit his family, particularly his son as the conduit ….

… it’s clear they are running scared. There is stuff out there that we don’t know about that probably will get Joe Biden impeached. As much as Republicans are hesitant to do it, I think his conduct was probably a lot worse and a lot more involved than we currently know. So the fact that Hunter Biden is trying to get people criminally charged, as I understand it from news reports, he’s saying, anyone who shares the information should be criminally charged. So this is another way they’re trying to spike the story. They’re trying to put reporters and conservatives and everybody that – look, you’re gonna be criminally prosecuted if you write about this, if you disclose it, if you tell people about it.

So this is another shutdown operation, and I think they are hiding something massive, more massive than we even know right now that is a complete scandal and really shows that Joe Biden breached his duty of loyalty to the United States. We don’t have that information yet, but you don’t act this way unless you’re hiding something”

Professor, I envy your high-quality tinfoil hat. It suspects things that far surpass my own.

Modern conspiracy theorists typically just end up being people who can connect the dots faster than the rest of us.

BierceAmbrose in reply to henrybowman. | February 6, 2023 at 1:41 pm

Well, my less-exalted tinfoil hat has become just plain uppity about how right it’s been lately.

I don’t even want to wear the thing any more, now that it’s stuck going all Oprah: “… and :*you* work for CCP-China, and *you* work for CCP-China, and…”

This is all past of the Biden Family being exposed as having sold out to thr CCP for a piece of a huge donation made by CCP. Members to the U of P and was an obstruction of justice

That is an entirely plausible scenario. Attorneys searching, perhaps someone else searching who then called in Attorneys, but someone definitely found something and had an uh oh moment.

So, from the very top down our government consists of totally corrupt treasonous psychopaths and compliant careerists. Are we supposed to wait for the legal authorities with responsibility over such a travesty to bring them to account? Showy minor charges will be brought in some instances, cloaked in enabling state media coverage. Change from working within the system is out of the question because the system is beyond redemption.

Will Hur then grant them immunity and allow them to sit in as he interviews others?

I have had this theory from the beginning. It seems the only possible explanation for the high-priced lawyers and no coincidence that all this happened as it became obvious that the Republicans were going to take control of the House. My tin foil hat now wonders if the China balloon not being shot down in Alaska was additional return on investment for China’s millions.

    stevie in reply to jb4. | February 6, 2023 at 8:21 am

Which would explain was there was initially no reaction to it from this administration. China Joe.

    1073 in reply to jb4. | February 6, 2023 at 9:24 am

Agree. And that is also why WH council didn’t talk about FBI search in early Nov as part of the WH document timeline. It wasn’t an FBI search for classified documents, it was a subpoena search about Hunter.

In my tin foil or deerstalker hat opinion.

This comes as a surprise, how?

in my humble opinion, I do not believe any of the documents retrieved from the Biden residences or offices meet the Classification criteria e.g. grievous or serious damage to the US if release, replace Biden or Democrats for the US and you have a winner. Classifying them will keep them out of the hands of the republicans

    txvet2 in reply to ronk. | February 6, 2023 at 5:22 pm

IIRC, some were ID’d as TSSCI. That’s pretty serious.

      DaveGinOly in reply to txvet2. | February 7, 2023 at 3:53 pm

I believe ronk is saying these documents implicate Biden and family in various nefarious activities, and they were classified (in fact, over-classified) to help keep them secret. Certainly, after being turned over to the DOJ/FBI, classification could make their acquisition by GOP investigators impossible, as it can now be claimed there’s an “on-going investigation” (that will result in nothing).

Stunned, Stunned I say! As many pointed out right from the start, it is a ridiculous claim that high paid lawyers were moving Brandon’s boxes. Of course they were looking for stuff and letting Brandon hang at his beach house all weekend while the FBI searched his house then having the FBI show up at the beach house gave Brandon plenty of time to search it first.
Where is the midnight raid complete with CNN and SWAT? Where are the pictures of the classified docs seized?

Remember, the DOJ says it does not have a two tier justice, three maybe that they don’t say

Aside from the absurdity hiring lawyers to gather boxes, work that could easily have been done by minimum wage grunts, I wonder who paid their fees. Not the government, I hope, these were supposedly Biden’s personal attorneys if I recall correctly.

Rupert Smedley Hepplewhite in reply to randian. | February 6, 2023 at 7:47 am

Of course the government (read: sucker taxpayers) paid the lawyers’ fees. Biden’s don’t pay anything.

BierceAmbrose in reply to randian. | February 6, 2023 at 1:49 pm

Having lawyers do it is a kind of lawfare-lite.

It gets you an extra legal hurdles to overcome to see what’s going on — everything is presumptive work product, and protected under attorney-client privilege. So, hearings, judgments, motions, and whatever else, plus different standards to meet — they need better reasons to grab stuff your lawyers have touched, than just your stuff.

It sets up processes to be the punishment. We all know hearings, motions, and whatever else burns time, money, attention, will, and credibility, however it comes out “officially.” That’s the point.

CaliforniaJimbo in reply to BierceAmbrose. | February 7, 2023 at 10:32 am

Joe had the lawyers look so they could hide behind attorney client privilege and not be questioned by a republican committee.

BierceAmbrose in reply to CaliforniaJimbo. | February 7, 2023 at 3:29 pm

Yeah. When that doesn’t hold any l0nger, they can say “ongoing investigation — appointed special prosecutors: How con-veeeeeen-ient.” and “security; it’s classified.”

Finally get to the thing, and “…what difference, at this point, does it make.”

I don’t think they expected to find classified docs. If this was a purge and burn with incriminating bribe docs going into the shredder, there’s going to be a fairly high degree of nerves there. This could kill a lawyer’s career and put them in prison for many years, and worse, it involves *multiple* people who each have incentive to put a knife in each others back to save their own necks.

So they lie to each other and themselves as they go through docs, claiming they are only getting rid of trash while repacking boxes for transfer to storage and all of the sudden, WHAM. Red folders.

These things are *tracked* First folder might get tucked under a box for later thought and WHAM. Another red folder. And another. This is a significant *Oh Sh…t” time many degrees of magnitude more than they signed onto. After a frantic pass through the rest of the files, they know not contacting the FBI would mean the end of their career. What they were doing was dangerous, but this is pure kryptonite. So contact the FBI, pass on the folders, submit the bill, get everybody’s story aligned, and go out for drinks. Lots of drinks.

BierceAmbrose in reply to georgfelis. | February 9, 2023 at 1:37 pm

        Yeah, you nailed it.

Lots of folks will go along with a little larceny that might result in a misdemeanor slap on the wrist, with some deniable: “Didn’t know all that was going on.” Screwing up handling protocols is bad enough. Responding wrong to something off-protocol is worse.

Nobody who thinks they are at risk is gonna risk that. (If you’re a long-term assistant to Sec Herself, you can send random interns to retrieve non=inventoried XC and fax of controlled information left in unlocked cars in public lots. Acting with impunity shows presumption of immunity. It is good to staff The Dowarger Empress, but I digress.)

Apparently, none of *these* high-priced cleaners has a phone book. You start with the exception-handling PoC in the originating organization, not the FBI. Yes, they drill you on that, too.

“I stumbled on a thing, that looks like it’s from your org. I shouldn’t have it, and it shouldn’t be where I found it.”

Take a bio=break and clear your calendar once you make that call. You’re gonna have an “interview” for a while.

view from Guam in reply to randian. | February 12, 2023 at 2:48 pm

the reason to hire lawyers to conduct a “search” is that the search would be considered “work product” and protected by Attorney-client privilege. Just like conducting investigation into a land sale with possible contamination. However, the critical point is that though an attorney looking around and what they find is protected, any “movement” of the documents is not. This would be like sending your attorney to retrieve a handgun you left behind at a murder scene. Now, that doesn’t stop Hunter from getting off is ass and retrieving/destroying the documents. However, I doubt the lazy bum would do an honest day’s work ever.

Thus, my recommendation is a subpoena to the lawyers requesting to know if they moved or touched documents, and if so where did they move the documents to? That information would not be covered by privilege. Also, anything recovered by the Government (any government employee or agency) is also fair game, though they will probably claim “on going investigation”. An investigation that will merely shield the Bidens from prosecution and justice.

It just astounds me beyond any understanding how the people who know Biden & Family are throughly corrupt – and they are legion – to the point of their having sold out their own country, don’t seem to give a damn. I mean, I just cannot wrap my head around that.

    The_Mew_Cat in reply to DelightLaw1. | February 6, 2023 at 12:16 pm

I just hope there are a few Deep Staters on Kamala’s side so they can make sure that the Republicans get good evidence on Joe Biden so he can be forced out. If the evidence is damning enough, Chucko Schumer will have a talk with Joe and force him to resign like Nixon. But his resignation will ostensibly be for “health reasons”.

The Professor’s theory is certainly correct. Anything those lawyers found, except for the Classified documents, has been shredded. “Normal document retention. Beginning of every year house-cleaning. We all do it.” But the lawyers knew better than to do the same with the classified stuff.
IMHO the stashes of classified stuff were Hunter’s inventory. IMHO Joe had been giving Hunter classified stuff for years/decades, for Hunter to peddle for big bucks and to show his clients (China, Russia, Ukraine, etc.) that his connection was real and had big potential benefits. IMHO Hunter had to give them something other than vague promises of photo ops with “The Big Guy”. The millions he was paid had to be for something more clear and immediate and valuable than a “pie in the sky”. The Chinese, if not the Russians and the Ukrainians, are not that stupid. Are the Chinese or Russians big buyers of Hunter’s paintings? I doubt it.

If Kamala Harris or her henchmen find out anything, it is in their interest to make sure the Press and the Republicans get it. Forcing Joey to resign could be her only path to the Presidency.

According to Dems, those lawyers are no longer allowed either executive or attorney-client privilege. That’s the new standard they’ve set with Trump, so are they willing to perjure themselves if subpoenaed.

The key here as in all conspiracies of this nature is to follow the money. CCP members gave many millions to the U of P for the establishment of a phony U of P/Biden “think tank” of which Biden received a 10% cut and rewarded the president of U of P and a prominent Philly donor with ambassadorships. The head of the National Archives,as documented here https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/news/articles/closing-in-classified-document-coverup i who loves to invest in China, and whose homes are where Biden spends his holiday weekends, was gung on on the raid of Trump’s home but is all too quiet on the fact that Biden is and probably has been in possession of classified documents since his days as a Senator. Searching Biden’s residences is only the beginning-anywhere Biden spends his time on a weekend and the Senate files at the U of Delaware must be searched as well

Then ask yourself who is paying the expensive lawyers who are representing Hunter Biden and take a look at the almost identical stonewalling by this lawyer and the DOJ. This is a major cover up being orchestrated by the Democratic Party and the DOJ,
