‘This Doesn’t Make Any Sense’: WH Press Corps Torches Jean-Pierre Over Biden Classified Document Case

“You have said repeatedly, the president has said, he takes classified documents very seriously. If that’s the case, why were these classified documents being stored in his garage?”

I don’t even know where to begin! The White House press corps torched Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre over President Joe Biden’s classified documents case.

I’m…speechless. It’s wonderful to see the press doing their jobs.

Dear Press,

It’s hypocrisy. What else is new. What the press is doing is opportunism and soap opera, also what else is new.

What “hypocricy”? This is corruption, period.

Team Obama has released the hounds. Remember this happened days after Biden announced he is running for re-election. They are going to stop that. And, once they take out Biden they will use that as an excuse to go after Trump.

O’Reilly was on Beck this AM and said his sources told him the network heads ordered the WH Press to ask tough questions as the network news has taken such a pounding in ratings due to the last 6yrs

          henrybowman in reply to diver64. | January 13, 2023 at 1:17 pm

Bullshit. After six years of “screw you, America,” why today?
The calls came from DNC. They know it, and I know it.

Gosport in reply to rhhardin. | January 13, 2023 at 12:48 am

Alternatively, it might just be that Biden and his crew have managed to screw this one up so badly not even their tame press can put the genie back in the lamp.

So they have given up trying.

    diver64 in reply to rhhardin. | January 13, 2023 at 4:52 am

Seems strange that after all this time of being Biden’s lapdog the MSM suddenly discovers the ability to ask questions. All of them almost like they were told to go after this.

      rhhardin in reply to diver64. | January 13, 2023 at 7:59 am

The dem plan is (1) get rid of Biden, and (2) “prove” by his resignation that having classified materials bars you from being President so that Trump can’t run. A two-fer plus for dems, worth the cost.

Dimsdale in reply to rhhardin. | January 13, 2023 at 3:21 pm

Obviated by the fact that everyone is shocked by this sudden turn, as though Biden were President Trump or something.

Something is up. I think “Weekend at Biden’s” is ending, rather precipitously, leaving us with the human hyena.

Biden by way of Obama under cover of WaPo et al.

Questions I would have asked if I were an accredited WH press corps reporter:

1 — “KJP, how does this report of classified documents in the President’s garage differ from the reports of classified documents found at President Trump’s home?”

2 — “KJP, did the President, when he was vice-president and had control of these documents, have the power to declassify and retain them? If not, who did the declassification so that he could keep the documents?”

3 — “KJP, who placed the documents into the boxes, and who placed the boxes in the garage?”

I can come up with more…

According to one story about the first set of documents found, it was a highly paid lawyer who was spending billable time putting classified (and other) documents in boxes.

    Uh huh. Right.

CommoChief in reply to GWB. | January 12, 2023 at 7:40 pm

Maybe they have more disposable income to pay Attorneys to move boxes in office closets and clean out their garage since they got Hunter off the hookers, blow and wild turkey?

They were not paying $1000/hr lawyers to look through boxes. They are spinning this narrative to try to minimize the scope of the classified info spillage investigation. Low paid admin people came across this info.

      diver64 in reply to GWB. | January 13, 2023 at 4:54 am

Considering that some of the documents are stamped with the highest security clearance did that lawyer(s) have clearance? As someone who once held a Top Secret I am pretty sure remembering a briefing about anyone not cleared from handling even the folder they were in.

wendybar in reply to GWB. | January 13, 2023 at 6:56 am

Did the highly paid lawyer have the clearance to see classified documents??

henrybowman in reply to wendybar. | January 13, 2023 at 1:19 pm

Cover sheets for classified documents always include the legend, “This cover sheet is UNCLASSIFIED.”
        They think of everything.

1 — Answer: The president takes classified documents seriously and has informed the DOJ of the incident and we have contacted the National Archivist in relations to these documents as a matter of transparency.

2 — Answer: The president takes classified documents seriously and has informed the DOJ of the incident and we have contacted the National Archivist in relations to these documents as a matter of transparency.

    3. — Answer: The president takes classified documents seriously and has informed the DOJ of the incident and we have contacted the National Archivist in relations to these documents as a matter of transparency.

You can come up with plenty more questions but I’m sure that will be the only answer you get for any of them.

Stuytown in reply to stevewhitemd. | January 13, 2023 at 3:08 am

    I would ask these:

    1. “KJP, in your role as White House Press Secretary, have you ever answered a question honestly?”

    2. “KJP, how do you sleep at night knowing how many lies you’ve told and how you’ve covered for one of the most corrupt presidents in history?”

Otto Kringelein in reply to Stuytown. | January 13, 2023 at 11:25 am

      1. — Answer: I have answered every question put to me honestly and transparently according to the approved Biden regime statements written in my loose-leaf notebook. Any accusation(s) that I have not read them honestly and transparently is false.

      2 — Answer: In a bed.

“It’s wonderful to see the press doing their jobs.”
My tinfoil hat is literally screaming in my ears.
If anybody besides Doocey is grilling Brillo Gal, this is a Democrat setup job.

Or, maybe – just maybe – they have decided they can’t risk Biden being the nominee in 2024. Time to throw him under the bus.

Perhaps Obama is repossessing Joe’s friendship bracelet?

Otto Kringelein in reply to henrybowman. | January 12, 2023 at 10:05 pm

Of course it’s a set-up. The democrat Powers Behind the Throne have determined that Joe will not be running for president in 2024 and are beginning to build the case against him. This whole classified document fiasco is just the start. As the time to nominate someone as democrat candidate for president approaches they’re going to get even more hysterical than this. Guaranteed.

Raggedy Ann is a liar, you can tell by the speed in which zer replies… Of course, zer works for the liar in chief, looks like pop corn got his sweet revenge

KJP looks like Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons.

This is the left wing “press corp” attempting to wash away six years “journalistic” malfeasance in one fell swoop. The Suddenly Aware Brave Heroes. Truth to Power.

Yes, I’m know people are saying this is all theater to unhorse Biden’s 2024 reelection aspirations. Maybe a 50-50 split.

It’s the Three Card Molly media sham to fool the peasants. Media are independent agents and not in collusion with the Democratic Party! Truly!

Media Indepedence In the Face of Overwhelming White House Power!

Yup, Dem elites have decided they want Biden out for 2024. They will do all the work. Reps can just step aside.

Guess O’Keefe tired of the taste of crap. May it continue and spread.

One can dream!

Sharks smell blood in the water.

Paula in reply to FinbarOS. | January 13, 2023 at 10:59 am

The word is on the street—the tide has turned. Biden’s days are numbered.

When asked for her opinion, Kamala Harris said, “It’s a happy day at my house.”

If it’s assumed that the dems are deliberately setting up the resignation of Biden to have better chances in ’24, it also “proves” that having classified material is such a serious offense that you can’t be President, and so Trump can’t run either. It’s two-fer theater.

Dimsdale in reply to rhhardin. | January 13, 2023 at 8:00 pm

Probably, but the “insignificant” difference in the ability to declassify might put a monkey wrench into that plan…

If you took a drink every time she said seriously you’re liver is dead.

So we are at the point where Harris can fill the remainder of Biden’s term and run for president twice.

The MSM is like an abused wife: always getting knocked around but continually coming up with justifications why she should stay with her abuser.

Evidence that is part of an ongoing investigation cannot be shown to congress.

“After I was briefed about the discovery, I was surprised to learn that there are any government records that were taken to that office,” Biden claimed earlier this week. “But I don’t know what’s in the documents.”

That explanation didn’t hold water earlier this week and certainly doesn’t hold water today.

This revelation may be what gets Biden excommunicated from the White House.

According to its website, the Penn Biden Center officially opened its doors on Feb. 8, 2018.

Based on this timeline, it seems likely that the classified documents found in Biden’s office at the Penn Biden Center may have been initially a part of the cache found in his garage.

The classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center were from Biden’s time as vice president — and he left office in January 2017.

While it is not clear when Biden started using his private office at the Penn Biden Center, it was likely around the time the center opened, which means the documents weren’t originally at the Penn Biden Center.

So, where were they from January 2017 to February 2018?

And why, after six years, did a team of WH lawyers decide to start looking around your houses and former office for classified documents?

Why are we not allowed to know what was in the boxes, who put them there, and where are the photos of them on the floor?

Logically, this opens up the possibility that Biden may have selected the Penn Biden Center documents from among the cache in his garage for transport to his private office there, which would contradict his claim that he was unaware that he had the documents and would also cast significant doubt that he is unaware of what the documents contained.

In other words, Joe, you lied on Monday and are still lying to the American people.

The powers that be have known about Pres. Biden’s classified documents since Nov. 2nd—it’s now the middle of January.

I have some questions. pic.twitter.com/cVDzdTpVh7

— John Kennedy (@SenJohnKennedy) January 12, 2023

“This doesn’t make any sense”. Oh, I thought he was talking about why KJP is still Press Secretary.

I have a flash for the press corps and ms Affirmative action hire: what she describes is not a PROCESS for handling classified documents. What she describes is WHAT THEY DID. A PROCESS would be WRITTEN. It would include numbering them, labeling them, logging them as to their content and location. And if someone looked in that location (Room X, Box Y, Shelf 1-2) THERE THEY WOULD BE! Home Depot can do it with their stock. Our government is worse than a clown show and their assumption that I will believe this is appalling.

RepublicanRJL | January 13, 2023 at 7:25 am

Either the WH press has had enough of public scrutiny that they’re being mouthpieces for the Democrat party or the smell of carrion is something they can longer mask with Vicks Vapor rub under their noses.

Or, may I suggest, the DNC needed to scramble after Joe announce his intentions to run in 2024 and he’s no longer their ‘dream candidate’.

She is the equivalent of Baghdad Bob during the first gulf war. Always defending an incompetent president and his administration. A joke to us and a continuing example of selection by appearance and not competence. I swear she is sending Morse Code when she blinks.

Well, it finally happened. Kamala Harris looked in the mirror this morning and said, “Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?”

And the mirror said, “You are, Sweetie.

Dimsdale in reply to Paula. | January 15, 2023 at 9:39 am

Followed by a hyena-like peal of hysterical laughter.

It is amazing how far you can progress in the Dem socialist party on your knees.

SoS Clinton’s Water Closet. VP Biden’s lapse of judgment… by way of President Obama?

BierceAmbrose | January 13, 2023 at 4:27 pm

This is Nixon / Watergate territory.

AIR, the noise around that administration took out the VP when the praetorian guard couldn’t keep people off the Veep’s intrinsic problems.

Yes, dropping Joe when he didn’t take the hint is The Appartus’ plan. No, it doesn’t matter. Keep the pressure on, every issue, every means, every direction. That’s the one thing they don’t expect.

“The President takes classified document seriously.” That’s mostly true: He does take them.

Press is being as nice as possible. Here’s the question I’d ask.

“In Mexico City, Pres. Biden acted like a defendant saying his lawyers had advised him not to find out what the documents were. But as POTUS, knowing that is part of his job. Shouldn’t he step aside until he resolves his legal issues and is ready to perform the job fully?”
