Gunshot Into NC GOP House Candidate Pat Harrigan’s Parent’s House Lands Close to His Sleeping Children

The right pours out violent rhetoric leading to mass riots and attacks on Democrats! The GOP will arrest and kill your children.

In the last week:

And now: GOP candidate Pat Harrigan’s sleeping kids nearly struck by bullet blasting through window

How about this, historian Michael Beschloss and Hillary Clinton?

I really hope this has nothing to do with Harrigan. The last thing we need is more political violence.

The shooting occurred on October 18 at North Carolina-14 District GOP candidate Pat Harrigan’s parent’s house as his children slept inside, missing them by a few feet.

From The Carolina Journal:

CJ spoke with Harrigan campaign manager Brandon Craft, who said that someone shot into the Hickory residence and that the investigation has been on-going since that time. Harrigan’s parents currently own and live in the home, but Craft said that Harrigan’s children were in the home when the incident occurred and the shot entered only a few feet from where the children were sleeping.Hickory Police Department (HPD) responded to the incident and noted the crime was perpetrated with a firearm. Kristen Hart, a spokeswoman for HPD, told CJ that the department does not have any arrests or updates related to the incident as of publication date.“No one was injured, but the officers investigating did find evidence of a bullet casing which is being looked into,” Hart said.

The FBI is handling the ballistic tests.

Democrat candidate State Sen. Jeff Jackson showed Harrigan’s house, which is near his parent’s house, in a campaign ad, questioning Harrigan’s residency in NC-14.

The House doesn’t require a person to live in their district.

Either way, Jackson showed people where Harrigan lived. He pulled the ads after the shooting.

Jackson’s campaign condemned the shooting: “We fully support law enforcement as they investigate this incident and believe any wrongdoing should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We at Team Jackson pulled our ad in an abundance of caution and concern, but to be clear, the home involved in the incident has never been featured in any of our advertising,” said Tommy Cromie, Campaign Spokesperson.
