Self-Defense Cat Keychain Used in Attack on GOP NY Gubernatorial Candidate Rep. Lee Zeldin

Ban assault keychains!

It looks like the suspect in the attack on GOP NY gubernatorial candidate Rep. Lee Zeldin used a plastic cat keychain marketed as a self-defense tool.

The Home Security Superstore says of its ‘My Kitty Plastic Self-Defense Keychain Weapon,’ “Pointed ears make this keychain tool ‘purrfect’ for self-defense.”

The store sells it for $9.99 and is made in America (archive link).

You cannot buy the key chain in California:

SALES PROHIBITED TO: California.

Please check local laws before ordering any self-defense weapon, including knuckle weapons.

I see leftists laughing about the keychain. It doesn’t help the media bury the fact that the keychain is marketed as a self-defense weapon.

Look at those ears! They’re sharp.

Here is a video where you can see the keychain.

Just goes to show that *anything* can be a weapon, even a “My Kitty.”
.

An assault with a deadly weapon can be met with deadly force.

But not, of course, if a liberal is attacking a conservative—in that case it’s a minor offense and the alleged attacker may be released on his own recognizance. If he promises not to do it again, everything is hunky dory.

Wait a minute – CNN tells us that it’s the Right Wing that is dangerous!

Read that this was a federal crime. Garland will surely get on it.

The perp was arrested today by the feds.

Yeah, but they should have arrested him yesterday. I suspect that enough people were pointing out that attacking a Congress-critter is a Federal crime and they had to do something. That and making sure that he could not/can not ever talk to anyone about his motivations.

Some animals are more equal than others.

Billy the Kid killed his first man with a knife… or rather the remaining 1 1/2′ of a broken knife blade. This is at least an attempt to maim… but since Zeldin is not on the list of protected status by Dems… nothing … nothing will happen.

Over at Ace of Spades HQ, there is a link to a Twitter comment. Essentially the guy is in Florida for the trial of the person who murdered his daughter… thanking the NY Gov for gun control since only gun-related crimes happen in Florida and the attack on Zeldin was less because of that. So many things to hate and so little time…

“Self-defense keychain”

Ha ha. The perp wasn’t using it for self-defense.

I’d buy a Doberman version

NY actually changed their “brass knuckle” law to include plastics. This isn’t legal to possess in New York state.

In New York, he is only charged with “Attempted Second Degree Assault” when the physical contact [videoed] makes it not only assault but battery, and the use of the weapon makes it at the very least “Assault with a Deadly Weapon” or “Attempted Murder”. And the New York prosecutor knew about the possession law and very carefully avoided using it,

One might think that there is some cooperation with the state.

Weapons laws are Lavrentiy Beria laws, are and always have been. When a real thug gets arrested, they’re the first to be plea-bargained away. When a based citizen has done nothing else objectively wrong, it’s “let’s get him on the weapons violation.”

There was a guy in MA that drove his car through the front door of a Trump store and nearly killed the clerk. Even though Trumps been gone for a year and a half . Then that guy who went to Kavanaughs home and woke up before carrying through. Now this guy…weirdness going on. Maybe MK Ultra was more successful than we heard,
