Biden’s Latest Attempt to Shift Blame for His High Gas Prices Is So Bad Even Jeff Bezos Called It Misdirection (or Stupidity)

Bezos: “It’s either straight ahead misdirection or a deep misunderstanding of basic market dynamics.”

Joe “I am the Democratic Party” Biden is stuck on the blame game when it comes to the rampant inflation and ever-rising gas prices his policies have created. First, it was that there was no inflation, then it was “transitory,” then it was Putin’s fault, Trump’s fault, maybe even Corn Pop’s fault.

When no one bought any of that nonsense, Biden decided to blame the oil industry (who knows how that works given that his administration has worked overtime to cripple and ensure they can’t provide for America’s energy needs), and now he’s turned on Mom and Pop gas station owners in an outrageous demand that even Jeff Bezos found objectionable.

The weird whispering is bizarre, of course, and the tone-deaf and deeply ignorant message sparked fierce backlash.

Here’s the screen grab (archive link).

There is no chance Biden will shift gears because this pain for Americans least able to bear the burden of Bidenflation is all part of the fantasy-based “transition” to non-existent green energy sufficient to provide for the population’s needs, as the Biden administration has repeatedly stated.

On the bright side, it seems that the more Biden tries to shame and blame everyone else for the results of his own policies, his poll numbers drop still further. How low can they go?

The rabid leftist democrat up the street is down to only a few bumper stickers on her car now. And any sticker that mentioned biden/democrats on them are gone. Even the “BYE DON” sticker is gone. I wish I had a time lapse photo of her coming out in her mumu and crocs as she scraped each one off.

Democrats do. It’s their signature go-to move — triggering the envy of the losers who vote for them, against anybody doing better than they are.

Sometimes I think – Jeff Bezos isn’t stupid. You can’t build a company like Amazon and be stupid.

But after the 2020 election, he said this on Instagram: “Unity, empathy, and decency are not characteristics of a bygone era. Congratulations President-elect @JoeBiden and Vice President-elect @KamalaHarris. By voting in record numbers, the American people proved again that our democracy is strong.”

Then I think – yeah, he is pretty stupid. It’s never the policies for Democrats. Always the person making the policies. And the person making the policies blames everyone else. You’d think after many generations of leftist failure, more people would get this and dump leftism.

Nope.

That’s the baffling part for me.

Red China congratulates Biden for turning to communism..
This is campaign gold.
What Republican will be bright enough to figure it out and run with it?

There is fairly broad public awareness that gas stations make a couple of cents per gallon on fuel. This isn’t the first time prices went up in recent years much less living memory.

Trying to sell the idea of mom and pop stations or even larger regional chains as profiteers isn’t going to work at least IMO. It comes across as uncomfortably Cray Cray. Like watching your neighbors grandpa with Alzheimer’s staring into the living room and yelling at the TV about Matlock reruns from the front yard.

It is definitely not the message or image of an informed, confident leader who is in command of the situation.

Yeah, making a mental retard POTUS was a really, really bad idea.

Only a matter of time before Brandon and rest of the Rats will be blaming saboteurs, money lenders and assorted capitalists for all the fallout from their shitty policies. Maybe the kulaks will make an appearance for old time’s sake. Uncle Joe would be proud.

How low can Biden’s poll numbers go? As he and the Deep State frauded his way into the White House, the floor is zero….and he is well on his way to that level.

Biden has spent his entire adult life in government, he has no idea how free markets work, only that companies will send him bribes via Hunter for favors.

Brandon, intentionally or not, with his war on fossil fuels is making us a dependency of the CCP. He want wind and solar to provide us with our energy. Besides the fact that wind and solar are neither green nor clean, and are neither sustainable nor dependable, they need lithium of which the CCP has a lock and a host of other rare earths for which the CCP is the major supplier. With Brandon in charge we are heading into a preindustrial age in which will be a non-power. Meanwhile, the CCP merrily builds coal-fired plants and nuclear power plants. It is becoming increasingly stronger while we become increasingly weaker.

The anti fossil fuel agenda ironically makes the case from a self sufficiency point of view for residential solar. Assuming that residence also has a well, an orchard, space for a few animals, a garden, a stocked pond…and some ..ah… hunting equipment…

nordic prince | July 3, 2022 at 9:06 pm

I think they know full well that wind and/solar energy are pipe dreams for the foreseeable future given present technology. They intend to make fossil fuels prohibitively expensive for John Q. Public, and are not at all concerned about viable replacements.

Their goal is absolute control over the populace. If you bear this in mind, then everything Bidumb is doing makes sense: no better way to control the populace than to pull the rug out from under them by destroying the economy and forcing food shortages, then implementing digital currency coupled to a social credit score.

    ^^THIS!
Totally correct: not about “transitioning” to anything except Federal control of energy and the economy at large, and then dictating to you what you can or cannot buy or sell.

The weird whispering is bizarre

Inappropriate whispering is common in dementia patients.

Keeping Biden in the dark, do you think they just turn out the lights or do they pull a bag over his head?

henrybowman in reply to MrE. | July 5, 2022 at 6:30 pm

They use the bag, but they still don’t take the jess off his leg. He gets lost a lot.

Biden is saying this nonsense because he is baffled about what is going on. The people actually running this country behind the scenes at the WH know exactly what they are doing and it’s going just as planned

One can only imagine what is being said in the newsroom of the Washington Post

The vile Dumb-o-crats are contemptible and infantile. They are biological adults possessing the fiscal illiteracy and the emotional maturity of toddlers.

Obviously, the dotard-marionette currently occupying the White House geriatric ward didn’t write this “tweet” — his chaperones/caretakers/handlers did. Such a contemptible and offensive bit of neo-communist demagoguery, stupidity and bullying — blaming gas station owners for the destructive consequences of the Administration’s own, idiotic energy policies — but, what else do we expect from the vile Dumb-o-crats? Par for the course, from these morons.

Well, he said the words that were quoted in the tweet. The video is embedded in my post above. Sure, someone else may have written them, but Biden himself SAID them. On camera. Scroll up to the OP and watch for yourself.

Fair enough, Fuzzy; I stand corrected, in this instance. I guess my general point is that the dotard is not personally writing his “tweets,” as a general rule.

By the way, Governor DeSantis’s spokesperson, Christian Pushaw, is just dynamite in her media responses. She will make a fine White House Press Secretary when DeSantis is elected President.

My family ran a gas station from the mid-70’s to the mid-80’s. @ best, we made maybe $0.02 on every gallon of gas sold. We made our living on car repairs, oil changes, & good customer service. We got out because having to pay upfront for the gas became too much to bear. I wasn’t bashful when I told the vegetable in chief that he & his administration, not only had no clue; but they were purposely doing this to hurt America & Americans because they hate both.
