Top Iranian General Taunts Israel, Says Jerusalem Can’t Strike Its Nuclear Weapon Sites Without U.S. ‘Green Light’

Emboldened by the Biden administration’s appeasement, a top Iranian general has taunted Israel, saying that the Jewish State cannot strike Iranian nuclear weapons sites without approval from the United States.

Israel cannot carry out an aerial strike on faculties linked to the Iranian nuclear weapons program without “the green light and support of the United States,” Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, a senior commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), declared.

While the Biden White House treads the path of diplomacy by continuing talks with Iran at the EU-sponsored Vianna summit, the emboldened Mullah regime has repeated its threats to destroy Israel.

The potential Shia-Islamic nuclear power has renewed its vow to ‘annihilate’ Israel. “We will not back off from the annihilation of Israel, even one millimeter,” Brig.-Gen. Abolfazl Shekarchi, a senior Iranian military spokesman, declared late last month.

The Times of Israel reported the top Iranian general’s statement:

A senior Iranian commander said Monday that Israel does not have the ability to strike Iran’s nuclear or military bases without US approval and boasted that any Israeli aggression will be met with a powerful response that can accurately target the infrastructure used for the attack.Gholamali Rashid, chief of the Iranian armed forces central command headquarters, made the remarks as Iran began a large military exercise.Rashid asserted that Israel is not able to follow through on any threat to Iran’s nuclear and military facilities without “the green light and support of the United States,” local media reported. He said that should any such threat by Israel be acted upon, the response would be “a crushing attack on all bases, centers, paths and space used to carry out the aggression without delay,” the semi-official Mehr news agency quoted Rashid as saying.

This is the latest in the series of threats issued by the regime officials as Iran races towards a nuclear weapon. The United Nations’ nuclear agency, IAEA, warns that Tehran is “a short, technical step from weapons-grade levels of 90%.”

“An Arabic language Twitter account of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Sunday published an image that shows the planned burned elimination of the Jewish state in 2022,” The Jerusalem Post reported Sunday.

Earlier this week, a leading regime-linked newspaper revealed a list of targets inside Israel that Iran plans to hit in case of a military conflict. The Iranian regime-affiliated newspaper, Tehran Times, published a front-page editorial accompanied by a map of Israel dotted with markers showing potential missile targets.

With the top Iranian military brass assured that an appeasing Biden administration will prevent Israel from knocking out their nuclear facilities, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is reportedly working on a possible strike.

The Israeli government has approved close to $1.5 billion for a strike to destroy Iran’s nuclear weapons program. “The funds — nearly $1 billion in this year’s budget and over half a billion in next year’s budget — will go towards aircraft, intelligence gathering, and dedicated armaments that can enable the attack,” the Israeli TV channel i24News disclosed late October.
