New York Times Quietly Edits Piece About Border Patrol Agents

The tens of thousands of migrants, mostly Haitians, have cleared under the Del Rio bridge in Texas.

I guess that means it’s time to clean up the pieces filled with lies about border patrol agents whipping the Haitian migrants. Leftists grabbed onto a photograph supposedly showing agents on horses using whips on the migrants.

Oh, how the left and liberal media feigned outrage even when people pointed out the obvious: REINS. The border patrol did not have whips. They had reins. You know, what horse riders use to direct the horses.

Then they tried to convince everyone the agents used the reins to whip the migrants.

Even the photographer said over and over that he saw no one whip any migrant.

The articles did the job. They all deflected attention away from Biden’s awful immigration approach. The administration pounced on the news.

Biden even vowed to make those agents “pay” for harming the migrants.

Michael D. Sheer wrote about Biden’s comments at The New York Times. He claimed the images showed agents on horses chasing migrants and “using the reins of their horses to strike at running migrants.

Oh, what do we see here? A correction!

“Images of Border Patrol agents on horseback waving their reins while pushing migrants back…”

Weird.

The correction at the bottom: “While the agents waved their reins while pushing migrants back into the Rio Grande, The Times has not seen conclusive evidence that migrants were struck with the reins.”

But but but Sheer wrote that the images showed agents chasing and striking the migrants with the reins!
