Report: Biden Will Begin Deporting Haitian Migrants on Wednesday With Seven Flights a Day

A federal judge ordered a block on the deportation blitz, but the US has a two-week window to conduct deportations until the order goes into effect.

One of last week’s most gripping news items was the Federal Aviation Administration nixing permission for news outlets to get an overhead video of Haitian refugees streaming across the border.

Well, it turns out the news crews’ ability to do flyovers wasn’t the only thing restored. DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned Haitian migrants not to come to the U.S. The Biden administration will begin deporting migrants on Wednesday after starting repatriation flights to Haiti he canceled a week ago.

“We are very concerned that Haitians that are taking the irregular migration path are receiving misinformation—that the border is open or that Temporary Protected Status is available to them despite the fact they are arriving long after the date that presents the deadline for TPS eligibility,” Mayorkas told journalists during a conference call, the Miami Herald reported. “This is not the way to come to the United States.”

Bruno Lozano, the mayor of Del Rio, Texas, estimated that there were more than 12,000 migrants and asylum-seekers at a border location. The U.S. aims to expel many of the migrants camped around a bridge in Del Rio, a report said.

Starting Wednesday, there will be seven expulsion flights daily to Port-au-Prince and to Cap-Haitien, the Associated Press reported, citing a U.S. official who was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly. Flights will continue to depart from San Antonio but authorities may add El Paso, the official said. DHS did not immediately respond to an after-hours email from Fox News.

The usual suspects are unhappy with the development.

Human rights advocates are enraged at the Biden administration for resuming repatriation flights to Haiti, despite the country’s ongoing political, economic and environmental disasters.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Wednesday expelled 86 Haitian nationals from the United States and flew them back to Haiti.

“That ICE would continue to carry out the mass deportations of our Haitian neighbors—with Haiti in the midst of its worst political, public health and economic crises yet—is cruel and callous,” said Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.).

A federal judge ordered a block on the deportation blitz, but the U.S. has a two-week window to conduct deportations until the order goes into effect.

The Biden administration continues to use a pandemic enforcement measure known as Title 42 to rapidly “expel” border crossers to Mexico or their home countries. Officials said some of the flights to Haiti probably would be expulsion flights relying on the public health authority of the Title 42 provision.

A federal judge on Thursday blocked the Biden administration from using Title 42 to expel migrant families but stayed the order for 14 days. The Biden administration appealed the ruling Friday.

By announcing its intent to deport the Haitians before launching the flights, Biden officials also appeared to be hoping that some in the camp would abandon their attempt to remain in the United States and return to Mexico. Migrants arriving at the camp have been given numbered tickets by the U.S. Border Patrol as they await their turn to be formally taken into U.S. custody, normally the first step in starting the process of requesting U.S. asylum or some other form of protection from deportation.

Some Haitians seeking to avoid deportation could abandon the Del Rio camp and try to abscond in the United States or return to Mexico, two U.S. officials acknowledged.

Yet, many of these immigrants are heading to relocation centers.

The increased flights are part of a six-part plan to address increased migrant encounters in the Del Rio sector, DHS said. As part of the plan, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will surge 400 agents and officers to improve control of the area.

In addition, U.S. Border Patrol will coordinate with ICE and the U.S. Coast Guard to move individuals from Del Rio to other processing locations. About 2,000 migrants were relocated Friday.

Yeah this isn’t going to play well with d/progressive SJW cadre. Pretty soon there’s photo evidence of a pattern emerging in the Biden Admin policies:
    1. Deport/refuse entry to ‘migrants’? Nah just the black ones.
    2. Covid employer mandates which target the unvax, which are disproportionately black Americans
    3. Blue State/City/Fed policies to implement a national vax passport by the backdoor which will again disproportionately impact black Americans

Sooner or later the images of the unvax being denied entry into places of public accommodation will emerge. As will images of those employees who refuse to comply. Interesting times are coming. Couple all this with the ongoing walk away movement, influencers like Minaj loudly calling out their policies and the fact that DJT received about 18% of the black male votes in 2020 and a cultural shift in voting preference may materialize.

Abbot should put ’em all on schoolbuses to DC, point them at the Capitol building, and tell them benefits applications are inside there.
That would get Nancy’s and AOC’s panties in a twist!

        And Vermont

No, the idea was for the right to foment another January 6, this time a totally riskless one.

Good heavens, don’t send them to Vermont, or they’ll stay forever. DC on the other hand… they may decide that Haiti was actually better.

Why help out the Biden Admin? Psaki faced several contentious questions today about this. She doesn’t have a satisfactory answer to provide the SJW media because there isn’t one. Anything short of open border/turnstile isn’t acceptable to that crowd.

Let the Biden WH try and explain why the black folks are being sent away while almost everyone else is allowed to stay. Governing is hard!

Only single males are being deported. That’s so Biden can say they are deporting Haitians ( looks better this way) – must worry about the PR, you know!

“That’s enough Haitians! We have enough diversity already thank you!”

Why are the Haitians always the only people we bend over backwards to keep out of the US? What is it about them that merits this?

For starters, how about keeping out the terrorists from the Religion of Peace? Or the Chinese spies and smugglers flooding our country with fentanyl? Or the drug cartels who have diversified into the sex slave trade, particularly underage sex?

What exactly is the policy other than those who will vote Democrat once inside?

If they started deporting Mexican migrants 7 flights a day they could do it from now till doomsday and they would never be finished.

“This is not the way to come to the United States.”
Facepalm.
So, why not… EXACTLY?
It’s a big, huge, enormous club, Haitians… but you ain’t in it.

They need to just go over to California amd walk in

By far, the majority of illegals are “walking in” in Texas. We’ve have a wall here since the 1980s which was built into the teeth of political resistance. And it takes a lot more to get across even today than it does in Texas. Even Warden Hair Gel sent the National Guard to the border before Abbot finally gave in to the swelling demand.

You Texans have to wake up. CA isn’t destroying TX, TEXAS is. Had President Cheney and his Bush, Rove and the rest of his Texas gang stayed out of the last recall election, we might still be a red state. Why is the llegal immigration HQ still located in TX? You would think that no one would mess with Texas.

phil–our border is nearly ten times as long as ca’s border with mexico–ours is a problem of a different magnitude entirely–the manpower to staff / patrol the entire length of our border effectively would be staggering–additionally, the terrain involved, particularly in the west, is rather difficult to patrol other than by air and, even then, access by law enforcement to interdict crossing/smuggling/drug traffic, is limited

hence the wall–initially expensive, true, but once constructed provides a tangible demarcation point that can be patrolled/monitored considerably more efficiently/effectively

CA gets most of its illegals bussed in from Texas and Arizona. We also to defend the shore. As it is, a great many still fly in and let their visas expire. Yes, we have a problem but no one ever gives us credit for the effectiveness of what we’ve done to stop it.

Most of the illegals crossing the Texas border don’t end up in Texas. They are bussed all over the country with most of them wanting to end up in CA. Those AZ crossers are almost ALL heading for CA.

There is a reason why the border is so open in TX, your politicians are just as corrupt as everyone else’s. You Texans have to stop talking about the Alamo and get into the “now”. We need each other and this CA bashing has to stop! Here’s a must-see video about fellowship.

And if you can find it, Nicki Minaj expressed some very similar sentiments too. Something very inspiring is beginning to emerge from those of us who reject the artificiality of labels. We are increasingly finding patriots from interesting sources.

I often express my disdain for being labeled a Republican or conservative or whatever. I know what I stand for. My core beliefs and values haven’t changed in decades. And I don’t even bother trying to reconcile my opinions to those who use labels to define themselves. We need believers who get it and they are finally showing up ready to fight.

as californians have a rather cloudy idea (as does everyone else except our countrymen in alaska perhaps)of the distance of things here, they have historically viewed the porosity of our border here as a “local” problem, something easily/readily solved–just not the case at all–from where am sitting right now (central texas) is nearly 200 miles east to houston and another 200 miles to the texas/louisana border–that’s only going east–west is even further

patrolling/maintaining the border here is a huge task–huge–the wall is the way to go, for while not a perfect solution, a wall provides at least some kind of deterrent/security, requires not enormous manpower/resources to maintain and mitigates a lot of the real danger to our law enforcement personnel otherwise forced by circumstances into a “wild, wild west” posture

Abbott plays both sides and that’s why he’s in trouble with conservatives but I will move if Beto wins texas and with ALL the transplants.. it’s a real possibility
      Abbott is no DeSantis

Gee, what is different about this group as compared to the 100k’s of Central Americans who have admitted? Where is BLM on this?

Rhetorical questions only.

Beto O’Rourke will fix it.

So that’s what happens when people force daylight to be shone on things the communists don’t want seen.

Xi-den’s brazen discrimination within the framework of his laxity towards illegal aliens, in general, is transparent. Hispanics are deemed to be acceptable, but, Cubans and Haitians are not (both of whom are coincidentally less reliable in their loyalties towards Dhimmi-crats) are not.

Why are we FLYING them anywhere? Just round them up and march them back into Mexico and say “adios muchacho”! Tell MEXICO they are THEIRS to do with as they please! Doesn’t Mexico need cheap workers to replace the 11 – 33 MIILION Mexicans now illegally in the USA?? Just think of all the WASTE that the turnip in the White House has generated!
