House of Representatives Democrat Leadership condemned the comments made by Rep. Ilhan Omar (R-MN) I blogged about in a previous post.
However, they ended the statement by accepting Omar’s non-clarification clarification tweet.
Those in this statement include:
The first portion almost mirrors the condemnation from 12 House Democrats.
But then they say: “We welcome the clarification by Congresswoman Omar that there is no moral equivalency between the U.S. and Israel and Hamas and the Taliban.”
Where did Omar clarify? Is this the tweet?
The leadership is trying to have its cake and eat it, too. They want to show they hate anti-Semitism but don’t want to upset members in the Squad.
