NYPD Seeks Suspects In Several Additional Antisemitic Attacks, Including Mob Who Beat Jewish Teens For Not Shouting “Free Palestine!” On Demand

“Earlier today Orthodox Jews were harassed in front of this Shul on 16th Avenue by a group of males yelling ‘Free Palestine – kill all the Jews’.”

The antisemitic attacks in New York City are becoming more vile and disgusting by the day, and the NYPD is again seeking help in identifying criminal gangs who are prowling the streets in search of Jews to assault.

In one appalling case, an antisemitic gang of thugs armed with baseball bats surrounded two Jewish teenage boys and demanded they shout “Free Palestine!”  When they refused, they were beaten by the unhinged criminals.

PIX11 reports:

Two Jewish teens were assaulted in Brooklyn Saturday evening by a group of people who demanded the victims yell antisemitic statements, police said Sunday.

The 17-year-old and 18-year-old victims were walking on Ocean Avenue, near Albemarle Road in Midwood, around 7:45 p.m. when they were surrounded by a mob of people, according to authorities.

The suspects demanded the victims chant and yell antisemitic statements and then beat them when they refused, police said. The teens were repeatedly punched in the head and one of the suspects put the 17-year-old in a chokehold, according to police.

The suspects then chased the teens with a bat but the victims got away. They reported the incident to police and were treated for injuries at the 66th Precinct, according to the NYPD.

The NYPD is also seeking other violent gangs of antisemites.

This savage antisemitic crime wave must be stopped.

I can’t believe this is 21st-century America.  It’s absolutely mortifying, it’s evil, and it must be stopped immediately, before people start getting killed in the streets for walking while Jewish.

It should surprise absolutely no one that the vile, despicable, dim-witted, tottering, feeble, corrupt, feckless Chairman Xi-den — the same dolt who ran a campaign claiming that he was seeking to “restore America’s ‘soul’,” and, whose campaign ads loudly (and, laughably) proclaimed his alleged “decency,” has yet to issue a statement condemning these Muslim supremacist/terrorist pogroms committed against American Jews.

It’s happening in Los Angeles on a larger scale: today, a friend witnessed an orthoodox man of about 50 was attacked by a young black male – the victim was hurt bad, and the attacker ran off – but word is that police have flooded the area and they may have a suspect.

Don’t see how any of this is going to stop. Especially when the NY legislature is passing such bogus “reform plans” for NY police. Violent incidents are bound to increase if this legislation passes.

It’s not going to stop – the attackers are influcenced – directly or indirectly – by the thugs at BLM – who are operatives of the democrat party.

Notice Pelosi’s silence. And Schumer’s. And notice the silence of the trash of the GOPe.

They’re influenced by people like Michelle Obama, who has a certain amount of influence and could her influence for good if she wanted to, but is intead fanning the flames of racism at every opportunity.

Not to mention the Biden Administration, who publicly sides with Israel’s enemies, and tells Israel to stop fighting. These people are encouraged and feel like they are in the right when the president of the US, former president, news media, hollywood, and now Black Lives Matter takes sides against Israel.

I’m waiting for Kristallnacht II.
NYC? LA? San Fran? Portland? Chicago?

I hope that this NEVER happens!

It will happen in a city that is disarmed. It won’t happen in Dallas, Nashville, or Miami.

I remember the “Rooftop Koreans.” The rioters went elsewhere when they saw the rifles. I heard something about “Storefront Sikhs” during some BLM riots.

I can’t give legal advice but you cannot, in most jurisdictions, shoot somebody over burglary or larceny (i.e. looting). On the other hand, if you are in your store and rioters smash their way in and start taking stuff with the implied threat that they will harm you if you try to stop them, that ups the ante to robbery (violent felony as opposed to a nonviolent property crime). At least that’s how I’d see it as a juror.

Arson of an occupied building also is considered a violent felony in many places, as opposed to just destruction of property.

That’s not likely. What made Kristallnacht Kristallnacht was that it was actively supported and aided by the police and the government. Unless police “reform” goes much much farther than can currently be envisioned, that’s not going to happen here. Anti-Jewish riots have already happened; but the police at worst reluctantly stood aside and failed to prevent them. I don’t recall even one case where they sided with the rioters.

civisamericanus in reply to Milhouse. | May 24, 2021 at 2:47 pm

Prosecutors and/or police did side with the rioters on three occasions, as I see it (my opinion).

      (1) A man was charged for shooting a man who ran up to his car, grabbed his steering wheel, and punched him while another threw a road block in front of the car. The latter two were not charged. In Florida, by the way, reaching through a car’s window to assault the driver is apparently equivalent to invading a home to assault the people inside and is punishable by up to life in prison. The state in which it happened is however a solid Blue leftist “outhouse” state.

      (2) Kyle RIttenhouse was charged for shooting three men whom the prosecutor stipulated in the charging sheet (available online) tried to rob and/or assault him. The charging sheet stipulates that the first man might have been trying to take Rittenhouse’s gun (i.e. robbery, forcible taking, and a robbery involving a firearm in the bargain). The charging sheet also stipulated that Anthony Huber used his skateboard to assault Rittenhouse while he was on the ground (aggravated assault using a weapon, and with the victim unable to retreat in complete safety), and that the third man had menaced Rittenhouse with a pistol. I notice that he was not charged with anything either. Milwaukee is of course a solid Blue city.

      (3) There is a video of rioters surrounding a car and pounding its hood. The driver used his car to push his way through them, but not fast enough to hurt anybody. The police stopped the driver and arrested him, but none of the rioters.

This is why you need to know your rights as a juror. See the Fully Informed Jury Association.

That’s still not Kristallnacht, where the police, whose jobs it was to stop the rioters, instead openly aided them. Prosecutors dropping charges after the event is not the same thing.

Danny in reply to Milhouse. | May 25, 2021 at 1:03 pm

It is an example of the DA office actively helping rioters especially the Kyle Rittenhouse where it is all on tape and he was the one shot at first and everyone he shot had attacked him first (about as clear cut self defense as exists).

Ever stopped to wonder why all of our spree shootings are committed in schools, government buildings, malls, and other “gun free” venues, instead of at target ranges, police stations, and biker bars?

Now, we all get to wonder why Palestinian Street attacks on Jews are happening in Los Angeles and New York, but not in Dallas or Phoenix; and why the attacks in places like Tucson and Florida are uniformly against unoccupied property (synagogues), and not people.

It’s because all those “problem places” are human rights violators — and the human right they are violating is the right of self-defense.

I think it’s deplorable that Jewish Democrats are being physically assaulted on the streets, but then again I realize that some people never see the light until it shines through the bullet holes.

A vigorous application of the Second Amendment in any of these cases would make the vast majority cease altogether.

Interestingly, this is true of most criminal activity in America.

“why the attacks in places like Tucson and Florida are uniformly against unoccupied property (synagogues), and not people.” The criminals are smart enough to know that you can’t legally shoot somebody over a nonviolent property crime in most jurisdictions.

E.g. even in Texas they can probably smash the windows of an unoccupied church and risk only prison time if they get caught but, if they go into a church to commit a mass shooting… well, the guy who did that was carried out feet first and at room temperature.

As the late martyred Rabbi Meir Kahane said, “Every Jew a 22”.

civisamericanus in reply to Milhouse. | May 24, 2021 at 2:23 pm

.22 lacks stopping power. I read a story about a thug who shot a cop, and a Good Samaritan emptied a .22 rifle into the thug, who kept coming. Only when the good guy used his rifle’s butt did the thug go down. He apparently saved the officer’s life but it was a close call for both of them. One round of .45 ACP might have been far more persuasive.

Milhouse in reply to civisamericanus. | May 24, 2021 at 3:48 pm

        Yeah, but 45 doesn’t rhyme.

A .22 will kill, our bodies are not designed to withstand such a bullet, unless the thug was armored or the gun was very heavily defective or it was some kind of toy gun that looked like a .22 or the guy was accidentally shooting blanks…

In other words there is something to the story you are missing, a .22 won’t go through cover but it will easily go through clothes and deep into flesh. Biologically speaking we are weak with soft skin.

Our entire government team (police, district attorney, governor and legislature) must act as a team to forcefully maintain peace and punish the wrong doers.

I am not going to hold my breath.

The 16th Ave Agudah strikes close to home. I’ve only ever been inside it once, but I pass it often and my late uncle was a regular there.

Attention, Jewish Democrats who keep voting for enemies of the Second Amendment like Cuomo and DeBlasio…

There is a video of seven pro-Palestinian thugs beating a Jew on the ground (aggravated, i.e. felony, assault which justifies a lethal response in self-defense. Note that, if you’re on the ground surrounded by thugs, you cannot retreat in complete safety which is the preferable option). THIS, boys and girls, is what those nasty guns with high-capacity magazines are for.

Even one thug with a baseball bat (weapon, or I think “dangerous object” as NY calls it) who is close enough to use it and from whom you cannot retreat in complete safety is a poster child for getting enough bullets to terminate the immediate threat to your safety. I am not a lawyer but my understanding is that the two ingredients for lethal force are (1) a verbal or visual threat plus (2) the immediate means of carrying out the threat. (A threat to harm you in the future does not justify deadly force although it is of course reporteable to law enforcement.)

Another question is (1) why were these savages allowed to immigrate in the first place and (2) what can be done to make them unwelcome here without breaking any laws in the process? While we are a nation of immigrants, we are not obliged to welcome, and we have a duty to exclude, those whose behavior clearly does not fit in with that of a civilized society. The dregs of society who (for example) chant for Jews to go back to the ovens, or express hatred of women, LGBT people, and people of other religions including those they regard as the wrong kinds of Muslims, should not be in the United States, the UK, France, and so on.

Today at synagogue there was a police car parked outside all morning, presumably in case something like this would be attempted there. I couldn’t help but think back to a year ago, when there were police parked in the same spot to catch people going in and out of the synagogue without masks. I used to put my mask on just before entering, and take it off as soon as I was inside, put it on again just before leaving, and remove it as soon as I was on the street.
