Lahren has been invited to speak by the Turning Point USA chapter at Clemson. This should be a non-issue, over and done.

Campus Reform reports:

Clemson University students fight to ban ‘racist’ Tomi Lahren from campus

Students at Clemson University in South Carolina are calling on the school to ban Fox News conservative personality Tomi Lahren from a Turning Point USA conference set to take place on the campus on April 8.

Students say that Lahren’s past criticism of the Black Lives Matter organization disqualifies her from speaking at the university.

“We are committed to creating a more equal, fair and inclusive environment on our campus,” said the Clemson University College Democrats on March 11, “Statements made by Ms. Lahren, especially those concerning the Black Lives Matter movement, are divisive and hateful.”

The university’s chapter of the Young Democratic Socialists of America is speaking out too, saying that it is “disgusted by Clemson University’s behavior on welcoming a homophobic, xenophobic, racist speaker such as Tomi Lahren from Clemson’s campus.”

And junior Summer Shaw started a petition demanding that “Clemson University bans her from our university.” It’s been signed by more than 3,900 people.

Megan Kinner, a Clemson student and sports editor of the campus newspaper The Tiger, responded to the protestors’ demand in an opinion-editorial, saying, “One of the most fundamental principles to our great nation and to democracy itself is freedom of speech.”

“Whether you like Tomi Lahren or not, she has a right to come speak at Clemson University for Turning Point USA’s ‘Back the Blue’ event,” Kinner added.

It’s called free speech kids.
Present a better argument.
Rebut her statements.
Better yet, offer to debate her if you believe her position is wrong and show everyone how bad she is – if that’s what you really think. That’s how freedom works.

The young Democrats went to their playbook and found words the movement tells them that work in these situations: “divisive, hateful, racist, etc.,” except they might be wearing out their effectiveness. Let’s hope Clemson’s Administration doesn’t back down to the pressure these socialists are applying

Perhaps non-Left students should start their own petition complaining about the bigotry, hate, and intolerance all too evident on campus, their concerns that the First Amendment is all too frequently abolished to appease such types, and a demand that Tomi Lahren be welcomed so as to ensure a equal, fair and inclusive environment on campus?

If the battlelines are drawn up the administration will be forced to take a stand – pro-Constitution (and federal financing) or anti-Constitution.

“words the movement tells them that work in these situations: “divisive, hateful, racist, etc.,” except they might be wearing out their effectiveness.”

Yes… is it just me, or is there really a recent increase in effective pushback to these crybullies? Not just from the speaker advocates, but even on rare occasions from the usually-spineless administrations as well?

Hope so Henry, and I am also seeing more Black people pushing back against the Marxists.
This tremendous push by the Left is magnified by the news and social media, there is a huge mass of normals out there and they are waking up.

More demands from children, or at most, young adults who don’t have any experience with the real world. The more I see of this sort of thing, the more I want to reach out and give each of them a crack across the chops with the backof my hand. Several times.

When I see “students demand,” I tune out.

Antiracist racists wetting their pants on cue.
