For the most part, the media’s coverage of violent incidents following the pro-Trump march last weekend has been terrible. Violence from the left is routinely ignored or excused by the press.

The Post Millennial reports:

EXCLUSIVE: Suspect filmed beating Trump supporters in DC is a journalism student

The Post Millennial has identified a Black Lives Matter protester and journalist filmed assaulting Trump-supporters after the “Million MAGA March” on Saturday in Washington, DC

Brittany S. McAlister, 29, of Washington, DC, was caught on viral video assaulting at least two individuals. She is a third-year journalism student at Howard University and works as a freelance journalist.

In the first assault caught on video later retweeted by President Trump, McAlister kicked an unconscious man on the ground after he was sucker-punched by Kenneth Wayne DeBerry, who was arrested and charged. She was holding a camera at the time.

Soon after, she sprinted up behind a woman carrying an American flag and punched her in the head before running away.

Warning, the video is upsetting:

Comments

“Aggravated assault carries the penalty of a felony conviction, a fine of no more than $25,000, up to 10 years in prison, or both. Attempted aggravated assault also carries serious penalties of a felony conviction, a fine of up to $12,500, up to five years in prison, or both.”-District of Columbia Criminal Code

Bottom line: This idiot is on video committing two counts of aggravated assault. I wouldn’t want to be her defense lawyer–it’s a pretty open and shut case so she’s looking at several years in the can and a hefty fine.

College student majoring in Fake News?

Why of course.

Was Brittany S. McAlister arrested and charged with the 2 crimes?

I believe her Journalism career will provide her with enough background to write about prison life. Welcome to Orange is the new black.
