Riots Break Out in Louisville, Across the Country in Response to Breonna Taylor Ruling

Riots Break Out in Louisville, Across the Country in Response to Breonna Taylor Ruling

Two Louisville police officers were shot Wednesday night.

Protests and riots immediately began in Louisville after a grand jury indicted only one officer in the Breonna Taylor case. They didn’t indict him for her death.

This led to the shootings of two officers in Louisville. Riots broke out in other cities as night fell.

**This post will be updated as more photos and videos come in.

Let’s start at ground zero. Two cops were shot on Wednesday night as the riots lasted through the night.

We are watching how a government takes control of an election and elects itself into power. Actual voters are being disenfranchised as we watch.

Where are you watching that at?

iconotastic in reply to stablesort. | September 24, 2020 at 2:21 pm

    That comment seems utterly unjustified.

stablesort in reply to iconotastic. | September 24, 2020 at 5:26 pm

Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Freddie Gray, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor all tell false tales of majority murder and brutality toward black men. Critical Race Theory, Systemic Racism, professional sports teams taking a knee, rioters, looters and arsonists are allowed by our mayors and governors to run amuck in our cities causing billions of dollars in damage and untold angst among our citizens.

America is and always has been a dastardly nation, gravely punishing those who are not white is the story repeated ad nauseaum in our schools, our Universities, our places of employment and on the nightly news. We’ve watched as police, FBI agents and politicians wearing Kente cloths taking a knee in solemn acknowledgement of our failures as individuals, as a race and as a nation.

That is our government beating us into submission such that they may take complete liberty with our laws and our rights that we made be made angels. Following the Gramscian march through all of our institutions over the past century, they have seized upon the China Virus as the crises bad enough to lock us in our homes for 15 days to ‘flatten the curve’ in the virus’ progression.

Seven months later, with millions of jobs lost, our churches off limits, our shopping restricted, we are told it’s too dangerous to hold elections, so we should vote by mail. Imagine that, holding an election that is completely unverifiable; not just subject to fraud, but totally and completely done in secrecy with no observers whatsoever and no way to verify any of the votes.

We are told, of course, that our President is foreign agent who wishes to defile our daughters and to raise a last final golden icon in his own memory in St Peter’s square. To accomplish this last task, the President has ordered the disassembly of the Post Office in order that the ballots of our next election be delayed sufficiently that he might maintain power against the will of the people.

So, throw in a few more riots, have a few judges allow almost anything resembling a ballot to be counted in the swing states to keep Trump out of office.

As to your question, every fraudulent ballot, disenfranchises the vote of a citizen. There will be many thousands upon thousands of fraudulent ballots cast, found, altered or counted in the coming election, and the Democrats are pushing as hard as they can to raise doubts about the ballot process. With voters as dumb as we seem to be, it should be no trouble at all to get the election thrown into Pelosi’s domain where anything is possible.

At least it’s not about eating dolphins and zebras. I’m still trying to figure that thread out.

The Friendly Grizzly | September 24, 2020 at 9:27 am

This will only be brought under control when the peasantry is allowed to defend themselves, rather than being arrested.

That sort of thing reminds me of school. One gets taunted by the bully for a long time, and finally, one fights back. Both are punished, or, if only one, it’s the one who was being taunted. The Ed-degree drone “authorirties” say “two wrongs don’t make a right!”.

Sir David Attenbught needs to be filming his next nature doc.

It all makes me wonder if law enforcement actually realizes they are at war with the rioters and that “operations as usual” simply will not work any longer. It’s time they take off the kid gloves and deal with the situation. No more retreating. Not more minimizing the wounded and/or casualties. No more pussy footing around. They need to respond with overwhelming force and deal with the situation. Until these terrorist rioters realize that there are going to be real consequences for their behavior then the riots will continue. The looting will continue. The arson will continue. The shootings will continue.

JusticeDelivered in reply to Lucifer Morningstar. | September 24, 2020 at 11:48 am

I agree, there needs to be bullets, and if rioters do not respond well to bullets, RPGs should be on hand. It is insane that society should be putting up with such lawnessless.

LE operates under ROE just as the military does. And, these ROE are usually established by their political masters for political reasons having little regard for the LEOs or the LE mission. Trust me, LEOs in riot situations would love to be able to march down the street en mass, and club anyone into submission who does not clear the area and leave them lying in the street for following ambulances, or dump trucks to pick up. But, should they do something their political masters do not like, even if necessary, they will be thrown under the bus and driven over by those politicians.

That seems less likely for the near (12-18 month) term. Democrat politicians are completely in bed with the mob. The current batch will have to be thrown out of office or jailed in order to release the police.

It seems more likely to me—from a nearby Seattle perspective—that the police will be forced back into their precincts while staffing shifts from hiring policies directed towards good officers to hiring policies directed towards hiring members of the mob. But if you defend yourself the police will be ordered to arrest and charge you.

The Media is getting the results that they engineered.

It’s “let’s rob a liquor store day”!

OK, at what point does the President finally declare an insurrection?

MarkSmith in reply to Milhouse. | September 24, 2020 at 10:00 am

Why should he. It is a local Democrat issue.

Milhouse in reply to MarkSmith. | September 24, 2020 at 10:24 am

He should precisely because it’s not local, it’s nationwide. The distinction between Democrats and Republicans is merely that (1) Democrats are refusing to put it down; (2) It’s an urban phenomenon and most cities are run by Democrats.

MajorWood in reply to Milhouse. | September 24, 2020 at 1:39 pm

I think that Trump is playing this brilliantly. He is offering federal assistance in a way that will be rejected, because he fully understands that the leftists are simply baiting him into over-reacting, and since he isn’t, it is driving them to up the ante. Allowing antifa to run free in the blue states does nothing except build support in the red and swing states. What is happening in Louisville is doing nothing other than making sure that every state touching Kentucky is solid red this time around. In 2016 Trump took 80 of 88 counties in Ohio. I predict that this tear he will take at least 83 (possibly 86), now including Lorain (Oberlin) and Athens (Ohio University) where students have both pissed off the locals and/or will not be present to vote. Ditto for the events in Lancaster affecting Pennsylvania. The left is acting like this is their last ditch effort, because it is, and they are failing even without the obvious pushback appearing, because it is the silent pushback of the anonymous ballot.

I live in one of the affected areas and Antifa only has limited support because they are really Antitrump. Once that role is lost following the election, they will quickly fall out of favor as no place will be able to tolerate their presence for 4 more years. They blew it on a tactical level by starting 2-3 months too early with the George Floyd assisted suicide. They have run out of things to destroy in downtown Portland which means moving into the burbs, which in Portland starts less than a mile from downtown and when the normal liberals start to be impacted, well, expect any support from them to disappear.

CommoChief in reply to MarkSmith. | September 24, 2020 at 10:47 am

Agreed with one caveat. If, and only if, we are prepared to apply the standards of the previous civil war in regards to voting then ok.

During the election of 1864 none of the States which were then in insurrection, even those restored to Federal control, had ballots counted or electors seated for the election.

I am not convinced that we are prepared to do that. Utilizing the insurrection act has huge consequences. Mitigation of some of the consequences seems appropriate.

Milhouse in reply to CommoChief. | September 24, 2020 at 10:56 am

There’s a big difference between this insurrection and the Civil War. In the 1860s it was states that decided to leave the union. Whether to call that an insurrection is questionable, but even if you do it was a different kind of insurrection. This is not like that, it’s like the Whiskey Rebellion or Shay’s Rebellion. It’s not states or even cities that are rebelling, but individuals and small groups. The cities are not actively participating, but they are deliberately allowing them to do it. And it’s happening all over, which is why a federal response is appropriate.

First of all, the American Civil War was not an insurrection. The US of A was established by the various states, which allied themselves into a Republic under a highly limited federal governmental structure with only a few areas of authority. There was NO prohibition against any of the states fro leaving the alliance. So, the Civil War was actually a war between two sovereign nations, the USA and the CSA. The triggering incident was the eviction of US federal troops from a fortification in the harbor of Charleston SC, then a member of the CSA. No longer being affiliated with the USA, South Carolina had every right to demand that the USA remove its troops from state jurisdiction. So, no insurrection. However it was sold to the public as insurrection or rebellion.

To answer mark’s question, the Insurrection Act ship has sailed, until the election. If DJT had used it to shut down CHOP/CHAZ, he could have weathered the political storm and probably prevented a lot of damage. It is too late for that now. Now, he is stuck with a strictly LE response or be branded a fascist dictator, which could swing the election. He allowed the governors of the various states to run the COVID response in their states, while providing all the help that they asked for. Now HE is being blamed for the problems caused by those governors. The media and Dems are wringing their hands and crying, if only Trump had acted like a fascist dictator, no one in America would have died from complications of COVID. See the problem?

CommoChief in reply to CommoChief. | September 24, 2020 at 12:46 pm

Guys you are making my point. We don’t have the collective stones to take the required action. Since we don’t, IMO we shouldn’t use the insurrection act.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Milhouse. | September 24, 2020 at 10:00 am

The Communists would love that. “See? He’s a dictator!” But, at the same time, those who are being attacked, their cars, homes, and businesses trashed or detroyed, would support it.

WAY OFF TOPIC: I am getting an odd behavior on this site. When I click “reply”, the page reloads. Rather than taking me down to the box to do the comment, it ends up someplace in middle of the article. My browser is DuckDuckGo under iOS 14. The same happens with other browsers.

Breonna Taylor was closely associated with a drug dealer, and was receiving packages on his behalf. I am not suggesting that she deserved to die, but it is understandable that she died as a consequence of her decisions to be involved in criminal associations. Drug dealers are generally very violent, and willing to commit murder.

In fact, like most other cases, the whole Breonna Taylor narrative is full of lies. Police did knock, they did announce who they were, and her newest stud did then shoot a police officer.

    Police are not the problem.

Riots did not break out. This was an attack on the city of Louisville by anarchists. Stop with the euphemisms already. Until we properly identify the problem we cannot properly address the problem.

I am
So glad I don’t live in a big city or near a large population of Blacks
I really thought we were making progress until the muslim cheated his way into the Presidency

JusticeDelivered in reply to gonzotx. | September 24, 2020 at 12:23 pm

Not all blacks are bad apples. But enough are that living in close proximity to them is undesirable. There is a huge problem in their child rearing, and their allowing their unruly children to run wild into the wee hours is a big problem.

I have known a lot of black people, a few dozen in 60 years have been decent people with merit, people who shared a good work ethic, people who raised their children well.

The rest had warts, and very large percentage were outright bad players.

It is past time to put down the insurrection and hold people accountable.

Those who have organized and those who have funded this need to be rooted out and dealt with harshly.

Maybe restate, remove race which is not the problem. The true problem is a culture of entitled dependency in which those who adhere to it make demands upon society and upon individuals.

The true believers refuse to accept the consequences, for good or ill, of their action and inactions. IMO and way oversimplified; they demand respect but refuse to earn it.

This philosophy is shared without regard to race, it is a cultural phenomenon. It begins with the indoctrination within some K -12 schools; social promotion and advancement regardless of mastery of the material. Teacher unions who refuse to allow the worst of their members to be held accountable.

It continues in our universities and has infiltrated our corporations. Sadly it has now been growing within our military. We allowed this process to develop, metastasize and continue. It was easier for us , collectively, to ignore and refuse to take seriously until we have reached a critical point.

JusticeDelivered in reply to CommoChief. | September 25, 2020 at 5:09 pm

I agree it is culture, and I agree that there are whites which suffer from the same issues. But, it is blacks who are running around demanding more handouts than they already receive. Also, the per capita rate of this culture rot is far higher in the black community than any other group. Just look at looting and rioting, 91% of which is attributable to BLM.

Hearing the “two systems of justice in America” trope this morning. NBC. Of course.

Observer in reply to Daiwa. | September 24, 2020 at 1:23 pm

We don’t have two systems of justice, at least not in the way that they mean it. (We actually have a different system for leftist criminals and illegal aliens, who now don’t get charged even when caught committing serious crimes, and ordinary Americans, who get charged for anything and everything.)

What we have is a country where a small minority — blacks — are committing a hugely disproportionate amount of the crime, including the violent crime. That is why there are more blacks than whites in prisons. It isn’t because the justice system is unfair to blacks, it is because blacks commit so many more crimes than whites.

That’s the real problem in this country, and it’s the one the media won’t acknowledge, and won’t let anybody talk about.

JusticeDelivered in reply to Observer. | September 24, 2020 at 11:23 pm

Per capita black crime rate is more than 7 times the average, with black males accounting for most of that excess rate.

JusticeDelivered in reply to Daiwa. | September 24, 2020 at 4:31 pm

NBC has no credibility. Other broadcast media is only marginally better. Pull the plug, use streaming services.

None of America’s traditional media gives frank coverage of China today. The vast majority do not honestly cover Trump.

There is a consistent pattern of lying through omission, and quite a bit of bald faced lying.

When did facts become anathema to the mob’s warped idea of “justice”?

This isn’t a law enforcement problem. It’s a coordinated color revolution by the same folks who have been working on them for years.

The left has nearly the entire establishment, all of academia, most religions, (that neutered toothless old dog), all the media, you notice you cannot even mention Soros? Not even on Fox news?

This is year zero and if Trump wins we get four years of bleeding kansas. If he loses, plan on the first American President to be jailed. Plan on justice and reconciliation committees coming to your town.

The rich will be spared and inequality will increase. They will literally flood red areas with new Democrat voters.

The last time this happened the US had entirely different demographics. We won’t pull this out.

SEATTLE: Antifa attempts to murder a police officer in plain sight by hitting him in the head with a metal bat

He runs for his life after he’s knocked down and surrounded by rioters

The fact that this can happen and the officer didn’t shoot anyone is further proof police brutality is not a real issue

This is war on America, has nothing to do with color, other than they will use ‘bamn’ by any means necessary to attain their goal. The Bolshevisttakeover! Billionaires are funding this as reported by Tucker Carlson! We know Soros is one as well.

What amazed me was that his fellow officers completely abandoned him and left him on his own. That they didn’t know he went down is no excuse, they should have known that he went down.

If I worked for that police department, my resignation would be on chief’s desk before I took my cover off after work.

They were riding single file noise meant they could hear nothing he was behind the group together lost contact with him it happens. They should have been in threes or fours

Who do you think funded the downfall of governments world wide, the freemasons? It’s Soros behind this as for the cop getting ambushed they’re learning street fighting. Cops know how to stop riots. But street fighting? We are not trained for organized resistance. Ambushes, planning, strategy, moving in formation to cover easy other’s asses.

Single file in a frickin bike through that crowd? You just handed the last man on a platter.

They’ve had a hundred days off planning, testing gear and ojt. The cops need to treat it like hostile territory. And quit riding bikes once they’ve made contact. Better weapons, tactics and tools are what the police need.

Graphic Video Shows Black Atlanta Policewoman Shooting A Black Man Who Waved A Gun At Her For 12 Minutes….

She was a drug dealers squeeze and was helping run the business. Tough that she got shot, but when you rent a car for your drug dealing boyfriend and someone ends up being found murdered in that rental car, then you have some ‘splain’ to do about your life’s choices.

“You want to party (name deleted)?”

There she was wearing a halter top, daisy dukes, and with two six packs, one in each arm. I’m like, “yes, I want to party.

I will never get that fortunate again.

P.S., can you believe this headline?

Well, that’s how the griz does operate. But I’m confused. This guy is theoretically a hunter. And he was surprised by a grizzly? In Alaska?

I don’t get surprised by grizzly bears farther north than Utah. And, AND, what’s this guy hunting with? One of my favorite places to hunt deer is Uganik Island. Because you can kill, like, five Blacktail.

Anyway I don’t go hunting without my rifle. Or shotgun.

Risky, using a Glock. Even in 10mm
