Facebook’s Zuckerberg: We need to prepare the public for days and weeks counting mail-in ballots

Facebook’s Zuckerberg: We need to prepare the public for days and weeks counting mail-in ballots

Fits in neatly with Democrat post-Election Day doomsday warnings: “what we and the other media need to start doing is preparing the american people that there is nothing illegitimate about this election taking additional days or weeks to make sure all the votes are counted.”

https://twitter.com/Perpetualmaniac/status/1303097486437879808

Democrats are laying the foundation for weeks of post-Election Day intrigue, protests, and maneuvers to defeat Trump by claiming that whatever else happens on Election Day, Biden will win when the surge of mail-in ballots is counted.

Thus, if Trump appears to have win on Election Night into the following early morning, it will be illegitimate. Biden will win, we just need to count all the mail-in ballots, the argument goes, no matter how long it takes, even if it’s weeks or longer. That will set the stage for fights by Democrats to count late and non-compliant ballots in Democrat areas, and a mad rush to courthouses around the country to find a judge who will order such ballots to be counted.

It’s a prescription for planned and well-executed mayhem.

We’ve explored various reasons why Democrats are setting this stage:

Enter one Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook into the equation.

Facebook already has announced that it will halt all political ads the last week before Election Day. Considering Democrat control of almost all major media and publications, that clearly hurts Trump the most since he will not be able to get his message out in response to the inevitable last-minute crisis new cycle. Biden will have no trouble getting his message out through the mainstream and leftwing media.

Zuckerberg also is supporting preparing the public to expect weeks of mail-in ballot counting:

“what we and the other media need to start doing is preparing the american people that there is nothing illegitimate about this election taking additional days or weeks to make sure all the votes are counted.”

On the surface, counting all the mail-in votes makes sense. But that assumes good faith. The pre-announced multi-week delay, however, is not in good faith, it’s buying time for mischief.

Democrat owned Federal Judges will force the States to keep counting mail in votes that come in after the Statutory Deadlines.

Trump needs to get a Judge to impound the late votes until after the court rules. Otherwise, Democrats will keep counting as long as Trump is ahead.

It worked for Washington State with the gubernatorial election. Count and count, delay and delay, count some more…top off the newly discovered ballots and recount until just right.

Many on the Left believe they MUST stuff the ballot boxes to undo the damage of voter suppression and cheating of the Right. Projection .. projection ..projection.

What Zuck is doing, reinforcing propaganda & brain washing, is election interference. If we had a real AG this **** would be cut off at the knees.

They might as well just say “we just don’t know how much fraud we need to commit until after election day”.

Everyone is already thinking that.

how can one party openly declare a civil war if they lose the election (which they already KNOW they will) and not be handcuffed and sent to prison for life…

HOW CAN THIS POSSIBLY HAPPEN…………. can anyone imagine if trump and the republicans said anything even 1% as radical

(Edited)

I know the Democrats will cheat; what really upsets me is the Republican establishment will not only allow it, they will aid it and push everyone to “accept the results”.

“…what we and the other media…”

Doesn’t that kind of blow-up Facebook’s Section 230 exemption?

    daniel_ream in reply to Mudcat. | September 9, 2020 at 12:39 am

    No.

Come on, S.230(c) is about as unambiguous as “shall not be infringed”.

Milhouse in reply to Mudcat. | September 9, 2020 at 12:44 am

No, why would it? I don’t understand where on earth so many people get this delusion that Section 230 requires interactive computer services to be politically neutral. It doesn’t. Just as Prof Jacobson does not have to be neutral in moderating this comment section, the Democrat-run forums like Facebook and Twitter don’t have to be neutral either. Section 230 protects both equally.

Edward in reply to Milhouse. | September 9, 2020 at 10:15 am

True, they don’t have to be neutral. They DO need to be given the Ma Bell treatment and have anti-trust action taken to break them up. That is appropriate for the monopolistic facebook and twitter while nobody is going to claim the Prof needs to have this blog broken up for effectively being a monopoly.

Twerk might actually start thinking he has some reason for anyone to listen. Thank goodness, his white superiority is not an issue.

Seems a lot of people expect a PDJT landslide on election night. So in person voters go OVERWHELMINGLY Republican, but for some reason democrats exclusively used mail-in ballots that will continue to trickle in over days/weeks, almsot exclusively for biden? The scene in Cop Land, where the dirty cop comes out of the dead kids car with a planted gun. The character Chico calls bullschiff, snatches the gun out of his hand and tosses it off the bridge. That’s what the American people are going to do to the democrats with this f’ed up tactic. We’ll toss their bullshiet votes, them, and anyone else who participates in this off the bridge too. Figuratively speaking.

Republicans had better be gearing up a massive “vote harvesting” operation of their own.

Hey FB

F/U

Hmmm. Now they’ve rolled out somebody who has nothing to do with the political process to help their propaganda blitz. Why are they trying so hard to convince us that this farrago should be “business as usual”? Probably because they know that as things stand, it’s just not going to happen—they can’t get away with it.

The election—all this poncing about with polling stations, imaginary voter disenfranchisement, New Black Panthers brandishing clubs, overloading the mails—has only one purpose; to select particular electors to send to Washington. The states have a great deal of control over exactly how each selects its electors. But no state controls the actual presidential election, the one involving the electors rather than the general voting public. That election is controlled from Washington.

Obviously no federated republic can allow a single state to paralyze the entire process by putting on a show of endless delay. The president can’t cancel or delay an election just because something fairly major, like a war, happens to be going on. Similarly, a state can’t delay an election just because it’s unwisely chosen a very slow way to determine its electors. There is a certain date at which the election takes place. No one state can be allowed to sabotage the whole thing. Nor can a conspiracy of several states. If a state’s delegation of electors isn’t ready and present by that date, that state simply misses that year’s election. (This is the only reason why states almost always manage to overcome their innate tendencies to screw things up, and choose electors in time.) And there’s nothing “illegitimate” about that, any more than I can declare a vote “illegitimate” because a polling station was closed by the time I got off my butt and drove over.

This wouldn’t be the first time something like this has happened. The big one was the election of 1876, when several states, working hard to disenfranchise the new freedmen, ended up sending more than one slate of electors. So the feds disqualified all states which couldn’t manage to decide who its electors were, and none of the competing slates of electors were seated. Those states simply missed the election.

So, this D’rat fantasy won’t happen by itself. Something disastrous has to happen in Washington, and perhaps they’re hoping that a “grassroots” groundswell of pressure will be it, if they can con enough people. And of course when it doesn’t happen, they can whine about illegitimacy. Which won’t make any difference, since an election is not required to have the approval of anybody so long as it is conducted in accordance with current law.

    D-rat groundswell?

Not true. The electors are not sent to Washington. They meet and vote in their respective state capitals. Washington has no control over it.

Edward in reply to Milhouse. | September 9, 2020 at 10:20 am

I’m guessing you mean DC has no control over where the electors gather to cast their ballots, not that DC has no control over any aspect of the Presidential election. Is that correct?

I have to ask — why the hell is Zuckerberg even wading into this area? I get that his company is under political scrutiny and criticism with regard to political ads, but, why make this self-aggrandizing statement? This really comes across as nothing more than a political play to ingratiate himself with Dhimmi-crats apparatchiks.

So tired of big tech’s censoring emails and texts of conservative candidates, “fact checking” direct quotes that don’t follow their narrative, de-platforming and de funding conservatives, shutting down their twitter and facebook and PayPal accounts. Next time they pull their usual shenanigans and blame it on a mistake or an algorithm, I’d love to see the government turn off the satellite that sends FB and twitter feed around the world for a day. They are restricting free speech so we’ll do the same to them. Tit for tat. Their heads would explode. Want to really pee them off, limit all USPS to letter, pharmaceutical and ballot mail only for the month of October until the election. No Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, deliveries that clog up the postal service and slow down deliveries.

amatuerwrangler | September 8, 2020 at 10:28 pm

What the hell? As I recall, the instructions tell people to mail the completed ballot in time for them to reach the registrar/election office before the polls close on election day. You should realize that mail does not get delivered by the USPS the next day, even if you are sending it next door. Anyone who doesn’t know that has no business voting anyway.

Allow 2 extra days. So with the election Tuesday, any ballot not in the election office at close of business Thursday is a non-vote. Shred them, don’t even open them. Don’t even record them. The final count will be announced noon Friday. Period.

If someone wants to be certain their vote gets in and gets counted, vote in person. Elections are important treat them as such.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to amatuerwrangler. | September 9, 2020 at 6:53 am

Anyone who doesn’t know that has no business voting anyway.

    Nor do:
Those who won’t get to a registrar of voters or a deputy to register to vote. (but manged to gvet to those same offices to get taxpayer-funded handouts).

Those who say they can’t get to some government office to get a picture ID (but manage to get to those same offices to get taxpayer-funded handouts).

Those whio can’t get up off their behinds and go to a polling station to vote. I allow for those who will actually will be away, or who are incapacitated and can’t get to the polls election day.

“I just moved and forgot to register, let me register the same day and vote.” Nope. Unless you moved on a very short notice, you have no excuse. Tough.

It’s what some or all the Socialist/Communist run states do with the military ballots pretty much every election.

Zuck you, Facebookface.

Quite simply, the Progressive – Democrat – Deep State – Marxist preparation of the COUP battlespace continues — https://www.trevorloudon.com/2020/08/democrats-are-preparing-the-coup-battlespace/

Zuckerberg has now declared himself to be one of the conspirators! (And so much for Facebook not being a publisher, but a “platform.” What a crock!)

Zuckerberg I realize you’re a College Dropout but you might want to take a look at a few lost and you will find out that December 8th is a drop-dead date along with December 14th. That means you’re not going to be able to drag this out into January. 8th you have to have your electors picked or you’ll lose them the 14th and they will choose the new president. You have no leeway there and your bigoted party and your money cannot change the law that quick. You might want to understand what you’re talking about before you go off the head

He, and his Socialist/Communist Party friends are depending on Left Coast Judges to make sure the counting doesn’t stop, even past 20 January if necessary.

Those nice, warm, fuzzy memories of sitting in a big lecture hall at UCLA for a poly sci or communications class. Where you’d listen in mild amusement as the professor entertained you with crazy tales of how, in the early days of the post-war consumer boom, movie theaters would nefariously insert single frames within the movie encouraging the increased consumption of Coca-Cola and popcorn. How this would register in the minds of the viewers without their conscious perception. The professor would try his hardest to impart to the students the potential evils of subliminal advertising and capitalism.

What the Democrats are doing here now takes that single, imperceptible frame and turns it into the entire movie. They know they don’t need to hide it. All they need to do is convince you that you can never trust your lying eyes. That the more obviously evident something is when you observe it happen before you, the more the true thinking man will discount it at a pedestrian contortion of the truth.

Oh, for the simple, good ol’ evil days of “Drink more Coca-Cola.”

The only delay in the final tally would be the counting of absentee ballots. In my county, after election day, the signatures are reviewed by a group of attorneys from both parties. Any dispute is decided by a judge. This can take several days. All counties should plan ahead and have more than enough attorneys ready for this task.

Has Trump confirmed enough judges that the judiciary will not be a strong accomplice to the Democrats at election time?

This guy keeps getting weirder and weirder.

But most weird is if the blm fasicists ever took over America,
Zuckerberg would be amongst the first to be looted and murdered (he is a blm and antifa hated Jew, after all).

All that stands between Zuckerberg and his killers is us. He just doesn’t understand that.

there is nothing illegitimate about this election taking additional days or weeks to make sure all the votes are counted

Zuckerberg is lying. Late ballots are by definition non-compliant and should be thrown out, therefore counting them is entirely illegitimate.

The masters of the universe are preparing us for the cheat by mail outcome.

I’ve seen that face somewhere before. In multitudes.
Hm.

ZB is . . . The Borg.

Far-Leftwing Online Publisher Zuckerberg needs a close looking by the FEC.

Just gimme enough time… I’ll fix it.

Hey, aszwipe, I found a misspelled word on your website. Maybe you should spend day and weeks looking for it. At least you’d be doing something useful. Maybe hire 20,000 Indians to help you. That’ll give you a better excuse for all the foreign visas.

So how does this work then?

Do Democrats hold enough States to be able to swing the EC in their favour? Surely if Democrat States like California go all in for vote by post then the end result is that only Democrat States end up with vote by post balloting and the EC still goes on OMB’s favour?

Its kind of like that Compact thing…where a few Democrat states passed legislation saying that their EC votes will be directed by the popular vote. Meaningless because its only happening in Democrat States that Trump didnt win anyway (because the Dead magically come back to live every 4 years apparently).

clintack in reply to mailman. | September 9, 2020 at 6:13 am

Trump’s electoral college victory depends on several states with Democrats as governor and secretary of state — Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Minnesota…

Even if all they do is keep counting past the statutory deadline for the Electoral College votes in early December, they could probably manage to deny Trump the votes from those states.

mailman in reply to clintack. | September 9, 2020 at 8:26 am

Is there a breakdown somewhere of what the EC vote looks like taking this in to consideration? Im assuming that if Trump is denied these states then that also applies to SleepyJoe.

Also, isnt Minnesota already a Democrat State?

Nanoushka in reply to mailman. | September 10, 2020 at 12:38 pm

Historically, yes, but Trump lost it by 1.5% and it has been named a tossup. We’ll see what happens, there are a lot of angry people after the riots.

Obvious solution: paper ballots, voter ID, one man, one vote, one day. The way we used to do it very well and efficiently before the geniuses with PHDs and technology messed everything up.

We used to be able to do this. In fact, we are now the ONLY democracy in the world that no can do it in one day! We used to refer this to “election day”. Remember?

(Valley Girl whine) But, that’s not faaaaiirrrr!”
    (ghetto “reverend”) Dat’s RACISS!
    (studies major) That’s Fascist!

(The Friendly Grizzly) Sounds good to me…

In fact, we are now the ONLY democracy in the world that cannot do it in one day!

If you Masters of the Universe are so smart, how about figuring out a way to make get this done IN ONE DAY! The ONLY thing standing in the way is the inefficiencies required to challenge the integrity of the voting! No mail-in ballots! Voter ID! If Facebook brilliance is inadequate, let’s put Fedex in charge!

Verified, in-person voting on election day with a voter ID eliminates all the nonsense Pelsoi and the digital barons are attempting to foist upon us.

Why does Zuckerberg think that is his job, opportunity, or even responsibility. If he thinks that is his responsibility, we should just shutdown social media completely.

They plan on turning election “day” into election “month”.

Does anyone else notice how scared he looks? I’ve never seen him with that expression before. Usually, he looks smug.

Repetition is the key to learning, marketing -persuasion. Republican voters and elected reps and officials in every corner, nook and cranny need to be repeating that-the traditional standard of voting is one verified person, one verified vote on one day. Only exception is valid/secure absentee votes, received by election day. That way, when the dems play games, it is abnormal, unamerican and rejected by most americans. “Independent,
non-consistent messaging throughout the party is always the Achilles heel of Republicans.

“[W]hat we and the other media need to start doing is preparing the american (sic) people…”

1) Since when is Facebook “media” and not a platform?
2) Since when is the job of “media” to “prepare” us for anything and not simply to inform?

“mischief” — I think you misspelled “treason”.

Has Zuckerberg been sneaking into hair salons like Nancy Pelosi?

How else to explain that perfect Martian hair style?

This guy is a simple minded moron. He’s worth billions but appearently has an IQ of around 85. He gets it done whenever he has a room full of phd’s telling him what he must do but on his own he’s just a buffoon. His best role is serving as proof that the universe is not fair.

Unless you are playing games with the ballots, it does not take more than an hour or two to feed the ballots into the counting machines.

All this talk of “days or weeks” to count ballots is nothing more than preparing people to accept voter fraud.

Phuck Zuckerberg.

Wow…

“We” — who’s we?

“Prepare the public” — why is it your job to prepare the public for anything?

“Days and weeks of counting” — curious that you already know how long it’s going to take.

“Days and weeks of counting” — because it works so well. How about, if it’s that screwed up, we don’t do that?

“Halt all political ads” — because that won’t preference one party vs. the other. Indeed, *any* activity will be better for some than others, thus political, and partisan. (At what point does premeditated platform activity advantaging some over others constitute messaging, e. g. speech? At what point does the famed section 230’s immunity for others’ speech, finally stop covering the platform’s own? Asking for the civilization next door…)

Bullshit!

If they can’t be counted as they cone in and totaled prior to the day of elections then we have election officials that are useless.

Zucktudr needs to prepare himself for the reality that no matter how rich you are, when it comes to treason and betraying the nation that made you rich you still have to worry about survival. No matter how many security people you have, no matter how many bodyguards, we the people have you out manned. And our gunned. You easily could go down as just an unfortunate blip on Americas radar. You can be replaced. You can be eliminated. The people have spoken. We don’t really like you, your commie politics or your web site. F you.

Why does anyone listen to this schmuck? Just because he has a lot of money doesn’t mean he’s smart or has any leadership qualities. Yikes.
