Don Lemon: “The Rioting Has Got to Stop… It’s Showing Up in the Polls”

Forget about the people who have been killed, the businesses, homes and livelihoods ruined, it’s about the polls.

I’m so old, I remember when the media was alllllllllll about the rioting and looting because justice and George Floyd. But now that it’s showing up in the polling, the media isn’t so sure. Forget about the people who have been killed, the businesses, homes and livelihoods ruined, it’s about the polls.

Because this is happening and so far, I haven’t heard the media or one Democrat condemn it. In fact, Democrats, like Rep.  have urged for “unrest in the streets.”

I mean…

Here is WI Gov Tony Evers:

“We cannot allow the cycle of systemic racism and injustice to continue,” said Evers, who is facing mounting pressure over his handling of the unrest. “We also cannot continue going down this path of damage and destruction.”

See the problem? First agree with the lie that is causing the rioting, looting and now killing, then wag your finger a them. Maybe he should follow this up with a sternly written memo and virtue-signalling tour of the fake media talking heads.

National media silence on the release of information from the Medical Examiner in Minnesota that Floyd had a fatal level of drugs in his system.

It doesn’t fit the narrative.

Kenosha was such a wonderful town in the 60’s and had really reinvented itself when they lost their manufacturing.
Too close to Chicago and Milwaukee. This is going to get much worse I fear

Fredo and Lemon – Dumer and Dumbest.

If you really want to hurt the rioters, hit them in the pocket. Track where they park, and if they’re pulling that trick with the blocked license plates, tow ’em to the impound lot. Check the vehicles for unpaid parking tickets in any jurisdiction, unpaid taxes, expired plates, and boot them. Parked too far from the curb? Tow. They’re using rental vehicles? Track back the names from the credit cards. Record the license plates and locations for the next step.

Want to stop the ones with non-eyesafe lasers? Set up several officers with professional paintball guns and pressure turned up to max safe, load the hoppers with mixed pepperballs and UV dye, and wait. First laser shines, all officers unload in that direction and maintain fire until the light goes out. Add a ‘sniper’ paintball gunner on a roof for extra effect. Now the laser gunners are marked up with dye for later identification and questioning, as well as anybody in the immediate vicinity. In relatively short order, anybody who turns on a laser is going to have all their nearby ‘friends’ running away. Poor guy.

Now as the rioters finish with their nightly exercise and return to where their cars were, officers with UV lights can detain the worst of the glowing morons for ‘questioning’ and searches. Oh, and this works best if any taxi service in the town stops service in the area for the duration of the riot and a few hours beyond.

Concerning the use of lasers to blind: Permanent vision loss is “grievous bodily harm” and lethal force should be used on anyone using such devices. Using lethal force means you don’t have to track down the suspect later, because he won’t be going anywhere.

You and I agree that it should happen, but sadly it won’t. Pinpointing the specific individual in a crowd is difficult to impossible. Returning live fire and having collateral damage is acceptable to me as “Clorox in the gene pool” but will not be acceptable to politicals who think these dirt bags are really constituents and are scared of being portrayed as a _________. Nor is it acceptable to the left which is screaming already about the use of tear gas and pepper spray because they are effective.

What is also needed is no bail on these riots. They stay in jail until their hearings and are sentenced if guilty.

People killed and inured, businesses destroyed and burned to the ground are not a problem until it threatens the ability of their guy to win the White House. Funny how that works.

Synchronicity. Or the “correlation is not causation” rule. Or maybe it’s a corellary to Fredo’s “church worship and peaceful rioting are two unrelated 1st amendment issues.”

And if this were helping Biden in the polls, then they’d burn their own studio down.

In general, I’m not in favor of asset forfeiture laws, but…

If the rioters are using vehicles to cross state lines to riot, I’m thinking those vehicles might be fair game.

    There is 18 U.S. Code § 2101

Ohio Historian in reply to clintack. | August 30, 2020 at 8:52 pm

Maybe law-abiding citizens just need to be out and walk by and spray the suspect vehicle with a vile odorant or pepper spray through the air intake if it has an out-of-state plate and is near a riot area. Let them cry and puke all the way home. If you were from out of town and in the area, sorry. If you own a rental car, sorry also, but maybe you need to bill them the “cleaning charges”.

Also, that chyron should really read: Second night of the RNC designed to convince you the President is not the man we’ve portrayed him to be all these years.

I’d switch out “convince you” for “show you,” but spot on other than that.

Do of the lowest IQ hair hats on TV and that’s saying something when Jim Accosted works there.

Demos are going to scream like stuck pigs when Pubs associate Demos with the riots. Guess there are consequences with letting rioters run wild.

Ohio Historian in reply to PostLiberal. | August 30, 2020 at 8:55 pm

Don’t you find it coincidental that these “mostly peaceful protests” are going on in Democrat cities in Democrat states? Correlation may not be causation, but it sure seems coincidental.

Nothing drives down property values like a burned out cop car. Makes you wonder how much the Gov and mayor are saving up to invest in the newly revitalized area when their rent a thugs are finished driving down property values.

The winners of the 1967 Detroit Race Riots were not the blacks in Detroit or Detroit. Ruined Detroit. Whose going to win here? Not BLM. Not Antifi. I hope they don’t destroy Chicago.

Pathetic, treacherous, amoral derelicts, these atheist-secular, humanist-statists.

(Not all of the latter are comprised of the former, in my estimation.)

Hey Kenosha pd, how’s those arson investigations going?

For 12 years the left has accused the right of being racist. Doubtful they’ve convinced many of us. But damn if the left hasn’t fallen victim to their own brainwashing and are now paying the price; e.g., the shooting was “racist” so it would be “racist” to police the resultant rioting and looting.

They dig a deep pit to trap others, then fall into it themselves (Psalm 7:15 NLT).

Let the wicked fall into their own nets, but let me escape (Psalm 141:10 NLT).

Wonder if there’s a Proverb or Psalm that says ‘wicked and stupid go hand in hand’ ? If there isn’t, there ought to be. 😉

Ecclesiastes 7:25 I searched everywhere, determined to find wisdom and to understand the reason for things.

I was determined to prove to myself that wickedness is stupid and that foolishness is madness.

“No lesson seems to be so deeply inculcated by the experience of life as that you should never trust the experts. If you believe the doctors, nothing is wholesome; if you believe the theologians, nothing is innocent; if you believe the soldiers, nothing is safe. They all require to have their strong wine diluted by a very large admixture of insipid common sense.” ~ Lord Salisbury, 19th Century British PM.

Don Lemon, douche first class.

Because this is happening and so far, I haven’t heard the media or one Democrat condemn it. In fact, Democrats, like Rep. have urged for “unrest in the streets.”

I briefly considered the possibility that the Dems might be right and that these riots have actually been instigated by people on the right, maybe even people in the WH, who want to create a situation where Trump can campaign and win on law & order issues.

But then I remembered that, as you say, no one in the MSM and no one prominent in the Democrat party has condemned the rioting, but in fact have aided and abetted it by propagandizing it as merely “peaceful protests” and by refusing to allow police to take appropriate action to bring it to an end.

The MSM has even helped incite these riots, by their intemperate reporting and rush to judgment of cases where blacks have died resisting arrest — and the Dem politicians haven’t hesitated to get in front of the cameras and echo the accusations of police brutality and systemic racism. Adding fuel to the fires.

So we can scratch that particular conspiracy theory.

So much of this is astrotuff type mobbing. There are a lot of people who move from city to city during this issues to “assist” the violence and rioting. With all the electron means of surveillance that law enforcement can use, why is it that private citizens are able to identify the thugs and law enforcement stands on the side lines? Go after the leaders. Arrest them under Federal issues to bypass the states that have been playing catch and release of these violent terrorists. Use the full capabilities of the Federal Government to track down their financials, trace the payments, then arrest the sources of the pay as insurrectionists against this country and our government.

Freeze their assets, as they are funding terrorism in these cities. Cut off the pay, lock up the leaders of this attempt to overthrow the government, the rest will all go away fairly soon thereafter.

You are missing the point. These liberal Dem shills still think of these riots as political street theater. And they are just now tumbling to the fact that they are no longer under Dem control. I have been warning people that, unless the various governments followed their duty to maintain public order, other factions would assume that duty. Well now we are seeing clashes between local militias armed with firearms. Street wars are breaking out. The shooting war has started and the upcoming election has become meaningless. Sorry.

pablo panadero | August 26, 2020 at 2:34 pm

What Don and Fredo have not yet considered, is the damage this does to the down ballot. It’s becoming pretty obvious that the only way to stop the riots is to have the Democrats suffer a massive loss in November, and this includes the local Democrats.

I’ve heard that if you shine a light into one of Don LeMon’s ears, the beam will light up the wall on the other side of his head.

I have a bag of rocks that has more intelligence and common sense than him and Fredo combined.

The initial 125 National Guard were to “support local LE” which means they weren’t riot-trained troops, so what good were they going to do?

Too late. The toothpaste is out of the tube. People will see through attempts to put it back in, as just a fake change of heart.

Well what did they think was going to happen if he didn’t get a handle on all these riots? They’re so far out of touch with reality, they thought the rioting and calling white people racist was going to help the Democrats in the election.

Yep, waaaay too late. The American people have seen with their own two eyes what the democRATs and their complicit cheerleaders in the Bought & Paid For, Knee-Pad Media have done to America!!

When little bitch Donna Lemoan FINALLY refers to rioters as rioters, you know SHE MEANS BUSINESS!!!

Has a national law & order campaign ever failed during a time of widespread lawlessness?
