On Wednesday, Rachel Maddow predicted the June jobs report would show “absolutely terrible” unemployment numbers.
She looked so incredibly happy!
I wonder what she will say tonight since the June jobs report showed a decline in unemployment.

The unemployment rate declined by 2.2 percentage points to 11.1 percent in June, and the number of unemployed persons fell by 3.2 million to 17.8 million. Although unemployment fell in May and June, the jobless rate and the number of unemployed are up by 7.6 percentage points and 12.0 million, respectively, since February.
Unemployment dropped among all major workgroups. The economy added almost 5 million jobs. Major economic sectors all added jobs.
No wonder Maddow’s ratings continue to decline. This is from early June:
Maddow finished the month of May behind five different Fox News programs in total viewership, including non-primetime shows “The Five” and “Special Report with Bret Baier.”
Maddow’s performance in May was even more alarming among the key demographic of adults age 25-54, where she averaged 455,000 viewers to finish tied for No. 7 in cable news, behind five different Fox News shows and even one program on MSNBC’s fellow liberal network CNN.
CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time” beat Maddow in the demo despite a month filled with negative publicity over his bro-friendly interviews with his sibling, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Even the little-watched “Anderson Cooper 360” managed to tie Maddow among the key demo during May.
Maddow has been outside the top five cable news programs among total viewers and outside the top six in the demo for four consecutive months. Maddow has shed demo viewers for three straight months at the same time America has seen an unprecedented news cycle filled with everything from a global pandemic to rampant joblessness to the tragic death of George Floyd in police custody.

IIRC, once the obamster took office, the “experts” consistently overstated his numbers and were equally consistent in being proven wrong.
Since President Trump took office, these same “experts have predicted absolute failure, and once again have been spectacularly WRONG.

Maddow knew she did not have the information, so she made a prediction based on what she wished they would be.
This is just like all those stories from the Washington Post about what the upcoming testimony in a hearing “will be.”
They never ran any retractions. Instead, the false “testimony” was repeated by others as if it were true.
She was right. They were terrible. For Democrats.
over 11% is terrible. it’s just not as terrible as some predicted.
A headline unemployment rate of 11% but moving lower vs moving higher is better. Adding several million jobs, as this report showed, is way way better than April. Context is important.
If you don’t understand this that’s one thing. If you do understand but refuse to acknowledge the truth of this then that’s quite another.

What the hell is wrong with the left that they become giddy when they think something bad will happen to people that might affect the upcoming election in their favor? She was thrilled to think of people out of work so Dementia Joe might have a better chance at being elected.
Just like this scamdemic, they are working on people’s fears, padding numbers – which the CDC admitted are showing cases for ANY coronavirus, which means even a common cold gets added in.
These leftists so thoroughly disgust me. Madcow is just a public face of the anti-Americans who only care about their side winning, with zero regard to the real people affected by their hatred.

Maddow is a classic example of what happens when you force the facts to fit your ideology. Not only is this personally and intellectually dishonest, it always comes back to destroy you. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always come back to destroy the guilty until innocents have suffered. Witness the millions killed by Lenin, Stalin, Mao and others. Or the suffering in China, Venzuala, and N. Korea today. Fortunately, Maddow will only be complicit in, not responsible for these latter cases of death and destruction. On the other hand, her fanaticism and dishonest have probably led some impressionable 20 somethings to ruin or at least postpone their careers to their long-term detriment. Note the Harvard grad who lost her job for wanting to stab opponents. Maddow’s show and career are toast, not only because she is wrong, but because she is dishonest and ill-willed. We will all be better off for her professional failure and destruction.
I don’t have cable. Is this Maddow person somebody of note? And I thought Rachel was a woman’s name?
