I’m laughing. Legit laughing because MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell thinks President Donald Trump killed Iranian terrorist Qasam Soleimani to influence former National Security Advisor John Bolton not to testify.
John Bolton is an extreme hawk on Iran.
2 days after Bolton submitted his manuscript to the White House, Trump killed Iran’s General Qassem Soleimani.

My raging liberal sister thinks Lawrence O’Donnell is the smartest anchor on TV. She almost exclusively watches MSNBC, with a smattering of CNN to quench her Trump Hate thirst.

Lawrence O’Donnell is demonstrating two things here:
1) Why he is paid by MSNBC vs. a real job.
2) The liberal “thinking” process
a) If you can conceptualize something, it is therefore possible.
b) If something is possible, it is therefore probable.
c) If something is probable, it is therefore a fact.
A fact is not something one discovers. A fact is a conclusion based on a “liberal” thinking process. Just ask Comey or Biden or HRC or any Democrat.

The consensus in his community is that Soleimani was becoming too powerful in Iran and the mullah’s leaked his location/travel plans for purposes of getting him killed – aka “suiciding him” or for those familiar with WW2 history, “rommell-ed” him.
If the Mullahs decided Sollami had to die they wouldn’t hesitate to kill him.
Why would they do that when they can both avoid killing a Iranian hero and blame the Great Satan for his death? This is a win-win for them. Not that I believe it, but it would make perfect sense for them to do it.
