Germany's domestic intelligence chief has warned of the threat posed by the resurgence of left-wing extremists in the country. The Left-wing extremists were engaged in violence against police and political opponents in Germany, Thomas Haldenwang, president of country's Office for the Protection of the Constitution, told German newspaper Die Welt am Sonntag.

When I first heard that President Trump is considering releasing illegal aliens into sanctuary cities, I laughed. Out loud.  There may have been giggling, too, as I pondered the implications and read the outraged outraging of the left. My first thought was "perfect! This is Alinsky in action: make them live by their own rules."  My second thought was "this has a touch of Cloward-Piven, too, overwhelm the systems of the sanctuary cities, and voters there may decide they don't like living in a sanctuary city after all."

There's a video making the internet rounds of an apparent security guard outside a McDonald's being attacked by two young black men, and I'm being asked if the guard pointing his gun at the two was a lawful threat of deadly defensive force, on the one hand, or a crime, on the other.

Commemorating Iran's National Nuclear Day, President Hassan Rouhani announced that the Islamic Republic would soon make advanced centrifuges operational, the Washington Free Beacon reported Thursday. Rouhani, according to the report, which was based on a translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), not only announced the installation of 20 IR-6 centrifuges but seemingly threatened, "If yesterday you feared our IR-1 centrifuges—well, here you go!" He also boasted that during the past year "we have acquired missiles and weapons that you could not have imagined."

It's like clockwork.  When a prominent Democrat lands themselves in hot water, the Washington Post oftentimes publishes puff pieces or fact checks defending them. They did it with Virginia House Delegate Kathy Tran over her infanticide bill and with Gov. Ralph Northam's defense of it. Now they're doing it with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN-5), who recently noted that 9/11 was perpetrated when "some people did something."

Michael Knowles of the Daily Wire gave a speech at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) this week. Student protesters turned the event into a circus, and a masked figure even attempted to throw liquid, initially believed to be bleach, onto Knowles and was arrested.
