Chicago Prosecutor Kim Foxx Suggests Racism to Explain Criticism Over Jussie Smollett

When you can’t explain your actions, pull that trusty race card!

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx has faced mounting criticism after the office dropped all felony charges against Empire actor Jussie Smollett.

Instead of providing an explanation, Foxx pulled the race card and suggested those who criticize her are racist.

From USA Today:

While speaking at the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr.’s Rainbow PUSH Coalition Saturday, Foxx questioned if the attacks on her credibility and office’s transparency have anything to do with her race.

“I have been asking myself for the last two weeks, ‘What is this really about?’ ” she said during an emotionally charged speech. “As someone who has lived in this city (Chicago), who came up in the projects of this city to serve as the first African American woman in this role, it is disheartening to me … that when we get in these positions, somehow the goalposts change.”

She continued: “This is personal.”

Smollett faced 16 felony charges after the Chicago police determined he orchestrated the racist and homophobic attack on himself on January 29.

To the shock of everyone, Foxx’s office dropped all of those charges on March 26.

Lady, if you truly believe this, then you’re calling a lot of black people in Chicago racist. Let’s not forget the intense response from Chicago Superintendent Eddie Johnson:

We all believed Foxx recused herself from the case “after communicating with one of his relatives during the police investigation,” but the office confirmed she “never actually formally recused herself from the case.”

Fox reiterated her support of independent investigation into her office’s decision to drop the charges. From CNN:

Foxx has previously said she welcomes an “outside, nonpolitical review” into how her office handled the Smollett case. She had separated herself from decision-making in the case in mid-February out of “an abundance of caution.”

She repeated her invitation for a review Saturday.

“I am again availing myself to an independent review of how we handled this case because it is owed to the public,” she said.

Foxx also said she still supports the police department, even though they criticize her actions and the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police voted no confidence in her. She claimed no one will ever see her stand at a podium and mutter anything negative for the people in blue.

No, instead you imply that they’re racist because they’re ticked off your office dropped the charges after all of that work and money poured down the drain.

Why doesn’t she explain WHY? Is it that hard? What is she hiding? I can only assume, but I want the facts along with the people of Chicago.

Yeah, her racism!!!!!!!!!!

Shocked…nope…a little surprised she didn’t claim misogyny…she may as well.

Yes, look in the mirror. Rabid diversity.

Considering that practically all the major players in this drama (including the MAGA-hat “assailants” and Chicago’s major-elect) are African-American, this is going to be a tough narrative for Foxx to sustain.

Of course, this is Cook County IL, and Foxx did win 72% of the voten in the 2016 general election. So, she just might survive politically even though this stunt really should be a career-ending move.

LOL It’s hard to be a professional victim and use your race card with so many other Dindu Nuffin’s hanging out in your town. Try screaming ‘rape’, that might get you a better response…. But, who could you blame, Joe “Handsy” Biden?

Don’t Leftists realize we just laugh when they cry “racism”? It’s such a transparent canard.

“Racism” is what people on the left say when they’ve run out of any logical arguments. “Business as usual” is what they call rampant corruption in Chicago.

A plea bargain normally means the defendant pleads guilty to reduced charges, with a negotiated sentence. In this case, there was no guilty plea to anything, allowing Smollett to continue to claim innocence. That’s not normal. Without Smollett’s money and power, any other defendant would have been forced to plead guilty and acknowledge his guilt in order to get such a light sentence. Naturally, most people assume there was or will be a payoff, either monetary or political.

Foxx has been dumping charges against blacks in Chicago and alienating the CPD since the day she assumed office. Second City Cop’s blog has been talking about this issue regularly.

Today, the comic strip La Cucaracha, by Lalo Alcaraz, showed a character with a TV remote passing on “Empire” and “Fuller House,” asking for something with “no lying or cheating celebrities.”

It takes a lot for a lefty to lose Lalo.

Of course, of course.

The very idea of being responsible for your actions is inherently racist.

At least when applied to non-whites.

The only ones who are racist in this situation are Jesse Smollett and Kim Foxx.

jackson looks like he’s just been exhumed

Because Kamala Harris is his aunt and Michelle Obama asked her to let him go. That’s why.

No, she is not. Please don’t repeat lies, but especially please don’t repeat stupid lies. They make not just you but all of us look stupid.

Think what it would be like to be a person who has a special card that will get them out of any jam any time! Celebrity blacks use it daily when things don’t go their way. Of course, there are a few who do not need the card because they are walking billboards screaming racism. Above you see jessie jackson who has lived breathed and screamed “Racism” all of his life. There is also Mr. Racism himself, al sharton. Nothing is to minor for him to yell racism. I was sort of thinki0ng he might show up in Savannah GA when the mayoral race put up a sign for the press reading “Black press only”! But no, that isn’t racism to the black hustlers, it is only discrimination.

It was never really “recuse recuse”

Those “white nationalist” types seem to be showing up everywhere these days!

Why does she think she is where she is? There is positive racism and negative racism. She benefits from the former and blames the latter.

there’s a story over on Twitchy that this case was handled differently from any other like it, and her staff is questioning her legal ethics.

I’m beginning to like being called names.

Of course it’s a race issue. Because Foxx is an embarrassment to the whole human race.

Black privileged black washers says it all.

Kim (not a fox) Foxx might soon learn that a get out of jail free race card might not actually prevent that.

When all else fails, reach for the race card.

When all else fails and logic and reason can’t be used to explain your actions never fear, one of the “ists” can always be used to denigrate your detractors. Maybe if she started identifying herself as just an American and didn’t freely associate with racebaiters-in-chief like Sharptongue and Jackass, things would go better for her?

Why is the new mayor’s daddy there?

How did Jussie Smollett get some “white privilege”?

Or did he get “black privilege” because he didn’t have “white privilege”?
