Republican Lawmakers Under Attack: Sen. McConnell Harassed by Anti-Kavanaugh Activists

These people have lost their minds.

Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader McConnell was harassed at the Reagan National airport.

Three anti-Kavanaugh activists walked alongside Sen. McConnell demanding he explain whether he believes women who make allegations of sexual assault.

The Daily Wire has more:

Two of the activists have been identified by The Huffington Post as Tracey Corder, Center for Popular Democracy’s “racial justice campaign director,” and Naina Khanna, Positive Women’s Network USA’s executive director.

The women are working to make sure Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh — who has had weak, changing, and uncorroborated accusations of sexual misconduct leveled against him in the eleventh hour — doesn’t get confirmed.

McConnell, seemingly unfazed by the harassment, looked straight ahead and even shook a random man’s hand on his way out of the airport.

This did not sit well with the feminists, as you might imagine.

“It is really telling that you shook the hand of a man while a woman is trying to tell you her story,” yelled Corder.

“We would like to know if you believe survivors of sexual violence?” said Khanna.

At one point, Khanna bizarrely accuses one of the men escorting McConnell of “assaulting” her after she repeatedly brushes up against him. “I keep stepping on her feet,” he responded, explaining why he moved.

As McConnell walked up an escalator, Khanna yelled, “Senator McConnell, do you always turn your back on women like this?”

He was also asked if we would “support a full FBI investigation.” There is already an FBI investigation underway, of course.

“We walked up to him respectfully. We really wanted to ask him about his vote and how he felt,” Corder told The Huffington Post. “This is three women of color trying to talk to him. He saw a white man and instantly shook his hand. That felt pretty hurtful.”

McConnell is not the only Senator to be bombarded by the crazed mob.

Tuesday a hazmat team was dispatched to Sen. Cruz’s Houston office to investigate a letter containing a white powder substance. Two people are in the hospital.

McConnell said Monday that the Senate would vote on Kavanaugh’s confirmation this week.

Standard Operating Procedure for today’s Democrats. This story is getting as boring a “dog bites man” story.

It is outrageous, not boring. Being constantly attacked, without fighting back, is a losing strategy, and the democrats know it. That is why they are constantly on the attack, usually met by silence.

Just three more illiterate, uneducated idiots out to make their mark on the world. Unless they were his constituents, highly unlikely, then he does not represent them or their interests and has no duty to listen to them or their drivel. Please, will someone, anyone, bring back civics classes in school?

He’s a polio survivor, yes? Any time he stops to deal with a protester face to face, he’s putting his life in that protester’s hands. I cut him some slack.

Gee… he overcame polio without the “Julia” government approach.

I wonder if he has suffered from the post-polio syndrome? I treated a patient my age that had gotten a hastily produced batch of the early vaccine (supposed to be killed virus form) that was fully active. Of course, that meant instant polio infection. She was suffering from the syndrome. My Dad also was a survivor.

It is time for righteous indignation. It is time to Biblically smite these oppressors. Time to make American sane and whole again.

*I wonder if he has suffered from the post-polio syndrome? ”
      *****
He does. That came out awhile ago with the video of PDJT helping him go upstairs and his wife defending him from harassment in a parking lot. I think he has enough “add ons” that if any protestor lays a hand on him, the charges could be easily upgraded to felony battery, ie. elderly, disabled, etc.

NGOs and other non-profit organizations need to forgo tax write-offs and public funding of all kinds.

Hey it worked on Flake. Well not really, he was complicit.

“They” better #ConfirmKavanaugh… otherwise, as read over at American Thinker… “We will have allowed a minimal sect of power-hungry narcissists the ability to control who can sit as a judge, who can stand as a candidate, and most importantly, who will have the power to decide the future of the republic, the future of our children, and our grandchildren and the millions of those yet to become even a conception of a being — those who will be born of our children and their children and who will surely grow and yearn to be free.

To allow them to destroy a candidate, an eminently qualified candidate, on uncorroborated accusations from more than three decades ago, for purely political purposes, will set a precedent. Barack Obama’s admonition that “Elections have consequences,” perhaps the only true thing he ever said, will be meaningless. Who will stand — for election, appointment, or even as commentator — when all that is needed to destroy a person is an accusation, without evidence, from long ago. “

McConnell shook the hand of a man, but ignored the beligerant harridan.

OMG! It’s the collapse of society. Never let a crisis go to waste!

Good grief.

“…demanding he explain whether he believes women who make allegations of sexual assault.”

This is a bull s**t flood the zone tactic. No one but these beligerant harridans are talking about the mysterious bevy of assaulted women.

The Senate is seriously discussing just one woman and her accusations.

End if story. Good bye.

Someone is gonna get killed before this stops, unfortunately.

I hope if they’re not too busy tracking down boof sightings, the FBI can take a look into this growing wave of (probably Communist subversive-inspired) domestic terrorism.

You mean this, or today’s snail mail poisoning or fake poisoning attempts?

      txvet2 in reply to JBourque. | October 2, 2018 at 7:09 pm

Per Fox, both envelopes contained ricin. That’s not a fake attack, it’s an attempted assassination. It’s about time people stopped talking about politics and start realizing that we’re at war with domestic terrorists – and their enablers, supporters and leaders in the Democrat Crime Syndicate.

I’m kind of surprised his security team didn’t pull them to the side. I know they want a film at 6 news bite, but he could have been in jeopardy.

I’m curious. Is Maxine Waters’ office giving these Soros-funded nutters GOP congressmen’s travel schedules like her staffers are doxxing them?

Where are the arrests for disorderly conduct and harassment? Nip this crap in the bud.

I wouldn’t turn my back on women like that. They’re trying to instigate a scene. I would turn around, get in their faces, and tell them loudly but politely to STFU and get the hell away from me. If they “persisted,” that’s why airport security is there.

“”These people have lost their minds.””

No they haven’t. That’s a very, very dangerous mistake to make about people who are dead serious (and getting paid to act deranged).

From WSJ:

Letter Signed by Nearly 400 Law Professors Decries Kavanaugh’s ‘Lack of Judicial Temperament’

Because he chose to fight for his life and career he doesn’t have the “temperament” to be a SCOTUS justice. They also mention a disagreement with his stance on law.

Can we trust lawyers in the future to represent their clients if there is a difference of political opinion? What “ethics” (if any) are being taught in law school these days? This severely erodes my confidence in the profession.

Before the hearing, the East Bay Times (aka San Jose Murky News, inter alia) ran an op-ed by Reuben Navarette which seemed to say that Kavanaugh’s lack of passion in defending himself suggested guilt. I’m sure that op-ed appeared elsewhere. So now, when he does show passion, he’s unqualified.

I hope he spends the rest of his life, on or off the bench, getting even with these filthy bastards by any means necessary.

Bullies always cry foul when their targets hit back.

“We walked up to him respectfully…”

Yeah, I don’t think they understand the meaning of that word.

The left has been unhinged for a long time, and these type of harassment assaults will escalate into violence at some point.

The Antifa wanna be crowd could tip over the edge of “peaceful” to violence if they don’t get their way. This is a dangerous time, and things are getting worse.

The left is using highly questionable moves to push their bullying ways, and it is causing those of us on the right to become angry. This is being engineered. Mad Maxine is pushing it against her enemies, and make no mistake, to the left, like Obama, they do not see the right as opponents of ideas, they view us as enemies, to deal with in any way. The end justifies their means.

I pray they lose power in the mid-term elections. It will of course mean they believe that fraud, the weapon they use as often as possible, was used against them. They are so bound in their views, like fanatics, that no evidence contrary to those views are accepted.

We are at war, even though it hasn’t lead to outright violence and armies marching. I hope our so called leaders are prepared.

The aggressive “demonstrators” are likely crazies, according to Project Veritas, that is who they use. However, let’s not kid ourselves: none of this is grass-roots, and Dick Durbin has been involved all along. Surely he is not the only Democratic Senator so involved.

The real tragedy is that our so-called “leaders” are already on their side–and that we have no true leaders other than our President Trump !!!!’ ABJ

Oooh. I actually hope they rip McConnell a new one. Either he wakes up or bleeds out. Either way, conservatism ends up stronger.
.
Who the hell leaves neverTrumper Jeff Flake on the Judiciary Committee after his voters dumped him, ya dumbass?

It’d actually work pretty good for us if the left bumped him off: one less rino we have to unseat.
