Two people remain in the hospital after exposure to a powdery substance at Sen. Ted Cruz’s Houston campaign office.

From The Weekly Standard:

A hazardous materials response team was dispatched to Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s campaign office in Houston on Tuesday morning to investigate a mailed envelope that contained a white powdery substance, the campaign confirmed to THE WEEKLY STANDARD.

Multiple fire trucks and at least one hazmat truck were spotted on the scene after the letter was opened by campaign staff and reported to authorities.

At time of publishing, it was unclear whether the substance was found to be toxic or not.

Horrible. It’s bad enough the left steals signs and spray paints them. Now this. Well, maybe people on the fence will wise up.

The problem is that most people on the fence are reluctant to get off of it, even when they are very concerned. Most often, they look for another reason to justify remaining where they are, and are especially reluctant to proclaim publicly that some event or other has persuaded them to take sides. One can only hope that at least they will vote in accordance with their concern.
