Allegedly sent white powder-laced letters to at least five other people in the last several weeks
Last month, Donald Trump Jr.’s wife Vanessa was taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure after she opened an envelope containing white powder.
The letter read:
“You are getting what you deserve. You are an awful person. This is why people hate you. You are getting what you deserve. So shut the f— up.”
After closer inspection, authorities concluded the powder was likely cornstarch.
Thursday, a Massachusetts Man was arrested for allegedly sending the Trump’s the white powder-laced letter. Authorities believe Daniel Frisiello sent at least five white powder-laced letters within the last few weeks.
ABC News reports:
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service said 25-year-old Daniel Frisiello of Beverly, Mass., sent at least five letters containing white powder in the last several weeks. He was charged with making hoax threats and mailing threatening communications.
The first of those, postmarked in Boston with no return address, was sent to Trump Jr. His wife, Vanessa, opened the letter and was taken to the hospital as a precaution after “an unknown suspicious white powder” spilled out of the envelope.
The letter read said Trump Jr. was an “awful person,” according to the criminal complaint.
“I am surprised that your father lets you speak on TV,” it read.
The other letters were sent to several people including Sen. Debbie Stabenow, of Michigan, which referenced Dr. Larry Nassar, the former US gymnastics doctor convicted of abusing his patients.
None of the other victims were hurt.
