Legal Insurrection’s 100 millionth page view
Just trying to scrape by on our hardscrabble piece of the internet.
Sometime last month Legal Insurrection received its 100 millionth page view since we went live on October 12, 2008.
We’re also just a couple of thousand shy of our 500,000th comment.
I realize that’s not Yuge by Yuge media standards, but we’re not Yuge media. Just a group of people who do the best we can with what we got, a ragtag band of merry makers and pontificators trying to scrape by on our hardscrabble piece of the internet.
For those of you who are sick of seeing my vacation photos (here and here and here), you can read the history of Legal Insurrection in these anniversary posts:
- Three years old
- Legal Insurrection is 4 years old
- Legal Insurrection is 5 years old
- Legal Insurrection is 6 years old
- Legal Insurrection is 7 years old
- Legal Insurrection is 8 years old

Congrats!
Your cave troll looks just like Hillary before the makeup artist starts. What the heck was that first photo?
I’m pretty sure I was the 100-millionth viewer, and I’m aiming to be the one who posts the 500-thousandth post. I like to set achievable goals.
Re the vintage photo at the top: is that hillary clinton trying to win an election?
LI has never been disappointing. Doing my part, visiting every day at least once. Thanks to the Prof and all the LI Contributors for great content worth paying for (which I do).
Here’s to the next 100 million views.
You’re doing some tall, proud, up-right scraping, Prof.
You’re regularly cited on many of the “bigs” of conservative blogging, etc.
No mean feat for a nice Jewish boy from the benighted North East…!!!
Cave troll? That’s me before my first morning coffee.
It was me … I done it
Congratulations!
Professor Jacobson called me out as the 100,000th something or other several years ago, but I’ll be damned if I can remember what it was.
So much winning!
I laughed at that: “scrape by on our hardscrabble piece” of the internet.
Good one!
I enjoy the site, (discovered it a couple yrs ago) glad to hear you guys are coming up the world!!
LI looks good (visually pleasing to my artistic eye). I like the font you use for the body of the articles/comment section…
Thanks for keeping the text black and not going grey. (much easier to read)
Who ever does the video of day has good taste 🙂
And…I find the commenters pretty rational! (the internet is so mean these days)
Keep up the good work!!!
