Hah! “Barrycade” enters Urban Dictionary

Hah! “Barrycade” enters Urban Dictionary

“Dude, Obama barrycaded the park.”

Tuesday night Mandy wrote a post, WWII Vets storm Barry-cades, regarding the absurdity of the Obama administration erecting barricades in open spaces for no reason other than to hassle Veterans at the World War II Memorial.

The term Barry-cade, and its acceptable variant Barrycade, became hits on Twitter (here and here).

The term was picked up and spread by Twitchy, and also at Drudge.

Drudge Barrycades

Now, as reported at American Glob, Barrycade Earns Entry At Urban Dictionary

The definition seems to fit:

1. barrycade

1. A barrier (usually temporary) that exists for no reason.

2. A barrier erected for political reasons.

“Dude, Obama barrycaded the park.”

“Hey, let’s put up some barrycades to keep those World War II veterans away from the open-air World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., in order to try and score some cheap political points.”

Seems like a reasonable definition to me.

I just kinda wish we had written it out differently:

(Apologies to all the Barry Cades out there.)

Donations tax deductible
to the full extent allowed by law.

I’m waiting for Obama to place a gigantic Shroud on the Status of Liberty and blame the shutdown.

Doe anyone remember with George Bush, Sr. went to Japan and got the flu? He vomited during a state dinner I believe.

His name became a synonym for getting violently ill in public:

Bushsuru (lit. to do a “bush”) means to throw up in public.

Funny how politicians names become words. Like Gerrymander, etc..

The history behind the words’ origins is absolutely fascinating.

Much easier then/than(pick one)say o-ba-ma-cade or so-e-to-ro-cade as the case may be.

The best way to deal with the Barry-cades is to simply remove them. Toss them in the nearest ditch or through the windshield of the nearest police vehicle. If confronted, tell them you’re with Occupy Wall Street, and they’ll let you go. Be sure to wear your SEIU t-shirt.

I just hope the use of the term “Barrycade” annoys the hell out of Obo the Clown.

To alleviate retribution to all “Barry Cade”s out there, the definition should include:

The term Barry Cade derives from Barrack Obama, who as a child was enrolled in an Indonesian school as “Barry Soetoro”. Soetoro was the last name of his adoptive father.

This is turning into a messaging debacle for the Collective!

“Government by inflicting pain” is getting BOTH coverage and push-back, which is getting MORE coverage.

Oddly enough, it appears that GOP spines are growing in DC…at least for the nonce.

    Yep! Simply put, EFFING RIDICULOUS!

What, I see (personal opinion) is the same heroic effort by led by our WWII heroes, by “We the People” against the villains in D.C. All of ’em.

Barackade would’ve been better and saved all those Barry Cades any embarrassment,

I was in favor of “Barackade” too, but we lost that battle pretty quickly. The “Barry” in “Barrycade” does have a nice bite of contempt to it, though.

Then there is this:

Grocery stores on Army bases closed, Obama’s golf course open…

Time for pitchforks, yet?!

Michelle would say the kulaks are too fat.

Th PX is for much more than food. The PX is not just a perk or a convenience, its discount is often a real necessity.

Forget the pitchforks – bring out the tar and feathers ~

A second definition for Barrycade: the enormously expensive entourage that follows a candidate on all of their campaign stops.

In Obama’s case, that would be every trip.

“Barrycade” should replace “Washington Monument Syndrome.”

Contrast the behavior by the Obama Administration towards the neo-communist “Occupy” thugs, who permanently camped out for months in McPherson Park and other D.C. parks, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage to public spaces, attacking bystanders, destroying the grass and landscaping and basically seizing a public space intended to be enjoyed by all citizens, for their own illegal grandstanding and thuggery. Obama and federal law enforcement treated them with kid gloves and declared these pukes to be untouchable, telling law enforcement officers “hands off,” in direct contravention of the law and of common sense. They let these creeps run roughshod all over D.C., assaulting people and causing damage.

However, when a bunch elderly WWII vets attempt to visit a memorial in a public space dedicated to commemorating their sacrifices and their struggles, the park police are called up to keep them out — which mobilization obviously COSTS MORE than simply leaving the space unmanned and letting the vets visit the memorial. Meaning, of course, that Obama intentionally wanted to keep the vets out, out of pure spite and vindictiveness, so that he could demonstrate the necessity of the federal government in people’s lives. He used elderly vets as pawns to try to make a political statement. He is a sick, twisted, pathetic man.

Spiteful and vindictive, yes that’s true. Also, barrycading the WWII Memorial demonstrates his deep and utter contempt for the American people and our heroes and history. President Barrycade is certainly earning his name.

Such a petty creature; he stinketh, as do his minions who do his bidding. You liars in the “news” media know who I’m talking about.
