Sympathetic reporters in the MSM are practically giddy that Elizabeth Warren’s Cherokee problem has not hurt her fundraising.
Warren’s Second Quarter haul of $8.6 million brings her total fundraising to over $24 million. In June, as Warren’s obfuscation on the Cherokee issue was in full throttle and as she ducked a group of Cherokee women who wanted to meet with her, liberals threw $3.1 million her way.
Ironically, or perhaps predictably, Warren’s spending at a prodigious rate, so she “only” has $13.5 million left in the bank.
Did anyone expect the fact that Warren has been deceptive on her claim to be Cherokee to stop Hollywood, Emily’s List, or the titans of high tech and even Wall Street from donating very big dollars to her? Or to stop the legion of small-time liberals around the country from throwing her a few bucks?
As pointed out here before, Warren is the number one organized progressive cause this November, above even Obama. They are all in, and they will not let niceties about the Cherokees get in the way.
As of this moment, there is zero evidence that Warren is Cherokee, and substantial evidence that Warren is not despite having passed herself off as Native American for professional purposes at critical times in her career.
We can’t make liberal supporters of Warren listen to their own supposed consciences, but we can get the truth out there.
And there is more truth to come.

24 Million $ to imitate a Cherokee? I think liberals have overpaid by about as much as when they paid several hundred million for imitation war hero John Kerry.
Of course Elizabeth’s supporters don’t care about her telling lies: they are progressive-liberal-Democratic-socialist. Since they deny God, they also deny truth, and believe that anything they can get away with is acceptable. They will play the “fair” card on us, but the only thing really fair, to them, is that they win. Isn’t this a dog-bites-man story?

The raison d’etre of affirmative action is to promote diversity, we are told, the sort of diversity thought to come from mixing people of differing origins, ethnicity, and the like. So, is anyone claiming that Warren – a woman of color – brings such diversity to the table? And if they do, may we ask exactly how, with her background, she does that? Maybe even ask her?
They are known for expressing selective indignation which frequently undermines their stated positions on many causes they represent. It’s not at all surprising that “affirmative action” policy has been exploited to benefit their cooperative and individual interests. This is simply further evidence of progressive corruption, which must be contained in order to preserve the integrity of society.

Moreover, her Cherokee problem is neither a big problem, nor a small problem, it’s a character problem that she hasn’t managed to come to grips with. Democrat or Republican, she doesn’t belong in Congress. If nothing else, the 2010 and 2012 general elections are about ridding ourselves and our various governments of this very sort of person.
Remember, the Left feels as if it owes Prof. Warren. She had long championed a “consumer protection agency”, and such a board was constituted under the Dodd-Frank bill. She was supposed to head it, but Republicans in the Senate showed a little courage (for once) and made clear that they would filibuster her. So Obama had to go with someone else.
Prof. Warren therefore was owed. Big time. She’s been supporting the party core and the core had to take care of her. What to do, what to do…

And as I said before, it’s a twofer, in that they get the ‘Kennedy’ seat back from the hated Scott Brown.

For Liberalism/Progressivism it is self-evident: the ends justify the means. As long as the person is pro-choice/abortion, for gay unions to be called marriage, for wealth redistribution, and for environmental wackoism, you are good enough. Morality, ethics don’t matter unless you are a Republican demon.
